@@TrinityYGO Would you mind also sharing if you went first or second in each round? For example when I write a tour report I use a template like this: R1: 1-1, Tenpai, dice L, went 1-1-2, time g3, note g2-gameloss-opp R2: 2-1, Tenpai, dice W, went 1-1-0, note g1-slowplay-me By using keywords (dice, went, time, note) I used to compile my results when I grinded 3 locals a week + every tournament before Neuron was a thing. IIRC you are a developer that's why I mention this but forgive me if I'm mistaken.
Congratulations, friend. You are the only one who plays with the deck with the correct proportions; Keep posting about Yubel. Your channel is very good.
Man you're a real inspiration, I'm really looking forward to try your list, mine is looking like yours from a couple video ago and it brick too much, so I appreciate you cooking something different with more gas🔥🔥🔥
Another great video bro. I also made a yubel hero profile based on some hero players and super poly was such an easy cut from the deck. Then when I went back to “pure” yubel, I still didn’t put super poly back lol
It depends. If many people are on droll in your area then it's bad (Gates cant be placed on the field). If you run a control build using superpoly (this is arguably an entirely different deck) then you can still play 4 max 5 total. If you want to run 3 prosp instead of 2, then you cut the 3rd Gates. Honestly it's player preference. Same as Pain being at 2 or 3. However, with Fiendsmith and especially Summon Sorc out, 3-3 becomes mandatory since it gives you 2/3 engines for free (all 3 when we get the moon goddess link 2 + sorc errata)
First of all congrats!!! I believe we have a really good Snake-Eye matchup to the point I was willing to disrespect it a bit (by taking out Veiler for other handtraps like Bystials/Crow for Branded/Voiceless/Lab/Tenpai). I wish I had your luck in my last regionals facing only Snakes, I faced only 1 (round 4) and got 3 voiceless, 3 tenpai and Branded. And I was x-0 so it wasn't about not getting the top tables. Squirmer is the best 2off in theory and 3off in practice. After 1 week of testing it at 2 it immediately went to 3 and never going back down. 100000% agree (I saw a deck profile running 1 saying it's bad to draw and I was malding) Happy to see you used Phoenix for a regional. Also I've said before that Ty-phon with this approach is almost unusable since this is a wombo combo version, I cut Ambo (did the gy pop matter in any game btw??? ) for Raging and swapped said Ty-phon for Zealantis. Almiraj sticking on the board and then helping to OTK is hilarious. I'm still rocking the 2nd Yama in place of Accesscode since I already have the alternative OTK line. I smiled when I heard you say "pop the spirit with throne" instead of going for Lotus like everyone says as if another line doesn't exist. Personal bias, I like this more if I'm not ending on OG+Lotus anyway because it leaves a great top deck available. Also everyone here shifted to Droll and it super annoying (and the reason I've not maxed the Sacred Beast engine) Anyway, again congratulations, I hope you take your next event!
Thanks my friend! I honestly believe the match up is 50:50 the problem is Flamberge and the new snake eyes diabelstar both being able to push your Yubel into the back row. Combined with the INSANE grind game they have and a lot of handtraps, it’s quite difficult. Especially after the 3rd snake eyes I wished to get another match up but since my first opponent already was VERY good I got warmed up quite fast so atleast that’s good! And yeah I agree, in the beginning I also only played 2 squirmer but it’s 100% right to play at 3. 1 sounds crazy to me. And yea, phoenix was really good! I agree with ty-phon - he’s really just a flex spot and can be replaced with everything else. amblowhale actually made one opponent play really weird since he was low on resources after he tried to push through all of my board! I personally tested the zealantis/raging phoenix lines and while it’s possible - it feels "awkward” sometimes and not really that perfect. Still - it’s viable! It’s just that accesscode is way easier to.. access (haha) and sometimes ; simple is better! Everytime I wanted to OTK, I could so I didn’t really felt like access needs to be replaced but the zealantis line is also valid to do! I personally just don’t really like it.
@@TrinityYGO Pushing Yubel into backrow is why i value Yama so much (and to a lesser extent Escape over Chamber). I had times when Zealantis couldn't break Pain + all my monsters for the OTK and Bystials had removed Spirit from GY so that I could only revive a blocker doing nothing. Then the optional effect of Yama popping benched Yubel came in (very very easy to forget) reverse OTKing them instead. Personal bias but I don't respect Snake's grind when SP is already used and I have an answer for Accesscode/Zealantis. Steroid Poplar is great (to the point I can't believe people not running it) but I always find this matchup way more manageable compared to Branded and even sometimes Voiceless. I don't want to play Ambo, I agree about Access being more accessible (lol) than Zealantis, so I guess I'll go for Duelittle again (I looped Ash against Branded with it). That leaves me with one spot. Flametongue would be great for that but it hasn't released yet, I'll try to experiment with another fire link (and if nothing is useful I'll play amblo for turn 3/4, I mean linking away Prom) On a side note, Zealantis helped me a lot with Melodious.
@@babrad Yama can be very good in dealing with the Yubel in the backrow! And yep, I think chimera is also fine :) Both have advantages, I don’t like one more than the other! I can see myself also just playing chimera instead of amblo! The thing with snake eyes is that on average you already have to use 2 handtraps (sometimes more) to stop them from going crazy and then if they establish Flamberge + IP while having 1-2 handtraps themselves, it’s difficult to push through. Even if you break their board, you’re really low on resources after that and then they straight up just kill you through 2 yubels thanks to the new snake eyes dia and Flamberge. I had to respect the SE grind 100%! But overall I don’t think one deck has the edge over the other - that will change after phantom tho! Then Yubel will dominate if you know how to pilot it :)
Love your videos and content! Definitely didn't do as well at my regionals unfortunately. Tried out the thunder dragon package and regretted it. Lesson learned! But using super poly for 7 against snake eyes for game felt amazing. 🤣
@@TrinityYGO I did a few days ago. I got 4-0 by Tenpai (2 games) and it came up needing a second that whole day. Even in the other games I won, not having it made some plays awkward. It's a 50/50 for me, I understand the intent all the way, but I'll have to test more.
@@kashtiranaxxheart oh alright then I can understand why you hesitate if you made that experience! That’s weird for me it never comes up. I only needed to get used to it in the beginning but since then I had 0 problems!
Awesome idea behind this deck! Can you make a few combo videos (again, sorry haha) with this version, if you wanna go apo, or gryphon or promethean plus other monsters in field
i showed the gryphon line a few times in other videos but i never dedicated it its own video so i think i will do that so i can cover everything (+ all the other ''alternate'' lines!) :)
@@TrinityYGO As well, mostly wanted a guide since this deck list is quite different from the other packages showed in your vids (1Yubel//Mainly links and exceeds) plus already playing now with 5 cards instead of just 1
I love this deck profile and a huge congrats for topping! I’m still testing around and playing for super poly (only because I really enjoy playing Yubel that way) but i have found an alternative. What if you were to run a HERO package with Neos Fusion instead of super poly. The 2 cards I’ve been playing with are Elemantal Hero Kluger and Rainbow Neos. Idea is to run 1 rainbow dragon and 1 Neos but you run 2 Neos fusions and 1 super poly instead of the 3 super polys. It has been working well in theory but i dunno, it could be something spicy to have some fun with 😆
Love the profile and I've even been building the Yubel deck myself. I'm sure alot of us love Yubel and I personally wanted to play Loving Defender Forever with Super Poly. I might have those cards on the side as a secondary plan. Can't wait for the Phantom of Yubel card. I wanna ask though, when Phantom of Yubel comes out, do you think all 3 forms of Yubel will be needed in the main deck?
Squirmer is so so good, like more than people think. Everytime i got imperm on Dark beckoning beast, i can sometimes SS squirmer, go into Yama, search Sharvara, use Squirmer effect to special summon FROM THE HAND (yes not only GY) my samsara or spirit. It's so insane. Nightmare pain can search Squirmer too to then do a similar line, or at least end on princess, it's too broken. I also kept nightmare at 3 (and spirit) cause if i see one in hand, it can in some situation save my life or i just set mature chronicle and put a better board. For the moment i never felt like 3 Nightmare pain is too much but i understand
Nice video! I have a questione about rouling amd timing in yubel: in the case a play the final form of yubel, if i use terror incarnate as link material for yama( with squirmer) since it leaves the field does yubel ultimate nightmare special summon? If that happens can i the add sharvara? The question is if that loose timing or not for special summom and add.
Terror incarnate will sadly miss timing if you link it away, so : no, it will not special summon ultimate nightmare! even if you dont search with yama, if you just perform a normal link summon, it wont work anyways sadly.
Did you face some other Yubel with this decklist (not for this regional) ? If so, what did you think of the mirror matchup ? Does not having super poly / mature chronicle / eternal favorite is a disadvantage for you ? I feel like yubel will unfortunately become meta eventually during the next months, so mature chronicle can do a lot of differences after that, and maybe super poly. Also, what do you think of ghost mourner instead of veiler ? I feel like it has more synergy cause it's easier then to kill your opponent, play through time and it can be used during your turn too Anyway very good deck profile, i saw the light 2 weeks ago and put out super poly. I only kept 1 Yubel fusion for eternal favorite but it can be hard to summon it, but SS spirit still helps a lot. I will try a decklist without them to add Phoenix and mourner.
I played a mirror, it even was a viewer! And honestly while it was a bit tricky, I think it’s doable if you do it right :) He even played Spoly and eternal favorite but I still won! I didn’t felt like I’m at a disadvantage :) The thing with spoly is that phantom of Yubel CANT be used as fusion material which makes spoly a lot weaker against Yubel in the future! I like mourner but the problem with her is that you can’t stop a normal summon, that’s the only reason why I prefer veiler over it but other than that : mourner is good!
Congrats brother, I really like this list. I understand the griffin line is there for tempai….but against what matches do you decide to go for the princess line instead of the oppo line.
Thanks my friend! It really depends on the match-up and if you’re fearing a handtrap! If you’re sure your opponent uses nib and you can’t play through it via any other ways, you can try to go for the Apo line for example! And you can still make the princess PLUS apo! :)
Thank you for the consistently excellent content and congrats! Curious about your decision to olay whale over duelittle chimera? Found the add back sharv to pop princess helpful
Just got pretty much this deck and a bestial lightsworn deck to start going to locals again for the first time since Xyz dropped. Definitely going to use this deck for tourney but I like playing lightsworns too much to use Yubel too often in non serious duels I think, unless my opponent just wants to see it.
Congrats, i got a bad result in my nat with yubel... But Ill try to keep trying with this decks, congrats for your awesome result!! PD: which card U banish when you go for prosp? In this particular build is hard for me know which card banish, ty for your content!
what do you think about a small khastira engine? 2 unicrorns 2 fenrir 1 wraitsroth 1 birth instead of 6 handtraps and if you go second you can side hand traps if needed
im not sure about that. Kashtira on its own is really good and you can play fenrir if you want to in the deck but at the regional atleast, i REALLY felt the need of having a lot of handtraps. its not bad because kashtira cards are just.. yea, good! but i dont think its better than just playing handtraps!
If you want a board breaker then Fen should be at 3 while the rest don't help that much. The idea of the Kash package in Snakes is that you get an Apollo before you commit the normal summon (with OSS/Diabel getting free fodder being the bonus). So unless you also run the extra deck package it isn't worth it.
Oh i totally forgot to talk about that im sorry! If i go second i ALWAYS side out the unchained trap. otherwise ghost ogre for nib (if the match up is better for nib) and if i need more non engine, i side out one spirit gates, one spirit of yubel and one terraforming or one for one. (Never side out the pot if you can fish for a good sideboard card with it!) if i go first, i take out imperm for skilldrain/Dbarrier. i keep veiler so i have something in hand if they lightning storm/feather duster me, against tenpai i side out both veiler and imperm for D-Barrier and Skilldrain since veiler isnt good in that match up. if you need more cards, you can get away with siding out 2 spirit gates and maybe one beckoning beast but the usual siding pattern was often just enough. It really depends on the match up. The Pot : I NEVER went for 6 (Too dangerous and often times you dont need that. ONLY do 6 if youre really really really desperate) the 3 targets i banished are depending on my hand, if i knew, i want to go for the djinn buster line, i kept djinn buster for example. Usually i banish : Almiraj, Ty-phon and the last card is always match up dependant. if my opponent is on Tenpai and i know i wont go for the princess, i just banish the princess. if i know my opp isnt on nib or anything like that, i banish the gryphon. its difficult and even tho it sounds funny : you can get punished by banishing the wrong things. you need to develop a gut feeling for it.
Congrats on the top. OK so my main reason to still play super poly is because I own QCR Loving defender. I never classified it as a super poly deck but that's what everyone thinks it is which is a sort of a bluff imo. My opponents constantly think they can get super poly'd makes them play weird or into lines that lose to other forms of interruptions. I only ever played 3 fusions 2 loving defender, 1 muddragon. Garura rarely comes up and it still gives room for the link climb aspect. 2nd fusion is a locals specific thing, I would play it at 1 anywhere else. I constantly tell people at my locals it's not a fusion deck it's a link deck that can fusion if it wants to but it's not required for the deck to win. Pretty sure we have the same ratios in everything else with the exception of cutting prosperity for 2 peri reis. The extra became way too tight and digging for 3 isn't that worth when I can just search the extender/starter instead and not care if throne gets stopped.
Thanks! And QCR loving defender is beautiful! I don’t agree with piri, I think it’s okay but I like the pot way better. I just value flexibility a lot :) And while it’s only to go for 3, the ability to grab sideboard cards or non engine is still there! But I agree that the pot is weaker than in other decks because we can’t go for 6 - still, it performed great! Thanks for your input!
I thought a little bit about cosmic and a lot of cards that are cosmic targets, are already covered with ghost ogre :) I had cosmic in the deck for floodgates and general backrow and then I figured that lightning storm + feather duster would’ve a lot more impact!
@@TrinityYGO Fair enough! I didn’t think about it like that and it def makes sense. Thanks! Don’t got the lady or such so I’m actually gonna be running two superpoly but def looking to see how well it does at locals this week. My locals is small but last week was three round and I ended up winning 2 rounds and drawing the last one against Purrely. Always appreciate the feedback dude. 🙏🏼
Only if your hand is bad anyways. Spirit gates, squirmer, nightmare throne, there are a lot of cards that makes the imperm useless! Most people save the ash for samsara or nightmare pain but my beckoning beast got impermed a lot once they realized I also get one extra normal summon and I never lost due to that!
@@samuelesalvatori457 yeah I know, I didn’t say you keep it, maybe i phrased it a bit weird :) I wanted to explain that my opponent often uses imperm once they know that so I DONT get one exta normal summon! But since there are so many cards in the deck that makes the imperm useless, it rarely mattered!
@@danslitadventure it’s on my list :) it’s just that currently I still have so much stuff to record and soon phantom/fiendsmith release so.. a lot to do 😵
I really like the interaction and extension that the princess line provides. But I dont really get how you are supposed to play it properly. You HAVE to use the princess pop as your last interruption, dont you? Since she locks you into fire while she is on field, she kills Chamber/Rage, Yubel float and the Yama revive. Feels very restrictive. Any tips?
Currently not! Sometimes if I get messages I try to help and look over decks but I can’t do that with everyone since it would be way too much :) But in general I answer every question and always try to help, just no "direct coaching” as of now!
@@TrinityYGO also, at a 3v3 I faced floo and was d-shiftered like twice so there’s not much to do there and I think it’s a bad match up anyway but have you practiced any lines under shifter or harder match ups like kashtira?
@@diegourbina5083 I’ve tested it briefly because there was a time where I tried shifter in the side but i quickly scrapped the idea. I will test it a bit more and then maybe do a dedicated video regarding that! :)
@@TrinityYGO - Stun is quite painful. Opening TCBOO then having any removal stops your SP play (pop Almiraj, pop gates). Skill Drain hurts because they don't leave a beatstick to crush into winning via Pain. Powersink Stone is even worse but hopefully almost none plays this. - Runick Plunder can also be awful because Plunder have banishing removal that can hit Throne and Pain on effect, while they remove Spirit and prevent you from even getting to float into the OG. Then because both engines draw, they steadily outgrind you. - Runick Bystial hurts the Unchained engine and takes out Squirmer so you don't get revive, but compared to the previous ones it's a joke without Baronne.
It depends honestly. I think it’s 50:50 The problem is flamberge and the new snake eyes diabellstar both being able to push your Yubel into the backrow! Combined with the insane grind game they have and a LOT of handtraps, the match up can be quite difficult. Other than that tho - it’s doable!
Super poly in feeling performs better at locals , i cut it at 1st and couldnt win because i kept running into rogue decks , i recently added it back and ended up topping locals because it won me 1 match. Im so conflicted on that card because im taking yubel to YCS indiana , im currently on 9 hand traps with 3 super poly.
while rogue decks are generally weak to superpoly I don’t think you need that to win against them. I won a few locals in a row without superpoly and I played a lot against rogue decks :) But I agree ; if you expect a lot of rogue decks, super poly is strong against them! It’s just that you don’t need it necessarily.
Well it’s the "same” version as the versions without princess :) you still have the same amount of interruptions and plays + the princess! So you don’t really have to adapt your play style just because of the princess’
Do you think this deck could make use of EM:P Meowmine as a going-second card? Lots of Link-2's in this deck. "If a Link Monster is on the field or in either GY, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "EM:P Meowmine" once per turn this way. If a Link-2 monster you control is sent to the GY or banished face-up (except during the Damage Step): You can banish this card from your GY (if it was there when the monster was sent or banished) or hand (even if not), then target 1 card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. You can only use this effect of "EM:P Meowmine" once per turn."
I think it’s interesting but I haven’t tested a card like that yet. My only concern is that on its own, it doesn’t really do anything right? It’s only quite effective once you’re already in the game
@@TrinityYGO Worst case it would be a lv2 Dark normal summon, which I think still checks a few boxes for cards like Nightmare Pain destruction or Djinn Buster Xyz - so I would argue that the chances of it being completely useless are low.
i dont agree with cutting eternal favourite, its saved me in simplified boardstates so much, it allows you to extend further and still have a yubel protecting your other guys and it draws attention away from popping nightmare pain. If you get shiftered it allows you to recoup your resources in turn 2 and beyond. if you get stopped its pretty hard to kill through a yubel if you arent snake eye or tenpai. you can activate eternal favourite on chain link 2 and summon a spirit and get it's effect. just so much stuff you can do with the card.

I have considered cutting eternal favorite, but Mature is too good. The recycle from banished effect is super busted. Gives you basically infinite Yama and Squirmer, which can make you grind game indefinitely
@@PerséeLisandroMature Chronicle Each time a monster(s) is Special Summoned that is a "Yubel" monster or mentions "Yubel", place 1 Chronicle Counter on this card. @@TrinityYGO hey trinity have you tried number 35: ravenous tarantula? It’s hilarious it pings 600 for every SS, can pop monsters equal or less attack than it & every monster becomes a beat stick.
What’s your honest option on droplet? I feel iffy to play it because I feel like there aren’t many good cards to discard or to send that will be on your field other than squirmer. Plus your engine already inherently discards a lot so it seems excessive. I guess I could always try it, I just don’t know how I feel about it. I’m struggling against the stun deck that plays jowgen and fossil dyna. It feels almost impossible and even if I negate the monster effects, I still have to play thru any traps they have and it just seems so hard. I feel like evenly is the best blowout card but even then if they keep jowgen/dyna, and you can’t negate it, you still can’t play the game. Skill drain is a card but if you aren’t able to keep it on the board, you are in a really tough spot.
Hi, this deck looks very solid. How good was the Princess combo? I guess Princess is very fragil because you are lock into fire but Red Dog can rescue your field to unlock the field yet. My thoughts is that Pots isnt very good in this deck tbh. Maybe u could play 2 Piri Reis Map or 2 Talents. And my last take is you could cut the Accescode Talker for the Level 10 Gustav Max. Against Laby u need a Time Card i guess.
Despite Reis Map being goon in theory, being forced to use it as the first action + tenpai format + forced side out in g3 for time (when it's a consistency card) are all very bad. While Prosp is just a glorified Pot of Duality here because banishing 6 is VERY ROUGH, you can even grab non engine when not needed, and especially after siding you can just dig out a game-winner on the spot (for example D-Barrier).
The princess line was very good and if you’re careful, the fire lock isn’t a problem! Keep in mind that I play a link 2 fire monster in the extra deck to combat the lock :) I personally don’t like the piri Reis map because i prefer to have a lot of flexibility in my plays but in theory it’s okay! Everytime I activated piri in the past before LEDE, it felt really awkward! But I agree : prosperity is more dangerous in this deck than in others because you basically can never go for 6 but it performed really good! And I think it’s better to maybe cut ty-phon for the rank 10 instead of accesscode if you want a time card :) Thanks for your input my friend, I appreciate it!

Another great video bro. I also made a yubel hero profile based on some hero players and super poly was such an easy cut from the deck. Then when I went back to “pure” yubel, I still didn’t put super poly back lol
Ayy finally someone on 3-3 Beckoning-Gate. I did some analysis on it and found it was correct.
Love the content btw
If you get drolled in this deck it’s almost a pass best you can do is end on s:p setup
Nice list as always! Congrats man! Looking forward to your new guide vids 😄

Would be cool to see a siding talk, going first or second, which card to consider taking out :)
100000% agree (I saw a deck profile running 1 saying it's bad to draw and I was malding)
Happy to see you used Phoenix for a regional.
Also everyone here shifted to Droll and it super annoying (and the reason I've not maxed the Sacred Beast engine)
Anyway, again congratulations, I hope you take your next event!
Flametongue would be great for that but it hasn't released yet, I'll try to experiment with another fire link (and if nothing is useful I'll play amblo for turn 3/4, I mean linking away Prom)
On a side note, Zealantis helped me a lot with Melodious.
@@babrad Yama can be very good in dealing with the Yubel in the backrow!
And yep, I think chimera is also fine :)
Both have advantages, I don’t like one more than the other!
Thanks for the kind words and yes - even tho I don’t like spoly currently I can’t deny that it’s fun to use!
I have been preaching at my locals that super poly is mid! I’m so glad some one else said it
Man, I wish I had the confidence to play just one Yubel. :(
But I'm so happy of your success!
Thanks my friend!
Have you tried one yet? Maybe it works better than you expect :)
Nice Profile, can u show or explain the Knightmare Griffon line?
i showed the gryphon line a few times in other videos but i never dedicated it its own video so i think i will do that so i can cover everything :)
@@TrinityYGO If you're making a dedicated Gryphon video, can you show if it's possible to summon Gryphon in the middle monster zone? between 2 EMZs?
@@Adam0193Official I can try but I don’t think it’s that doable tbh! It’s definitely way simpler and easier if you just put it beneath the muckraker!
Would love an in depth Gryphon video.
Thats the only line i still have a hard time with 🎉
Awesome idea behind this deck!
@@TrinityYGO yeah is for example depending on the match ups (+) going against different HTs is always nice to keep an idea 💡
No, in theory, you can even keep all the Yubel ratios the same :)
You don’t need to play more Yubel forms because of phantom!
Hey! Congrats on the top bro. Was wondering which sleeves you used to double sleeve your deck? ❤
Hey! I just use normal dragonshield oversleeves :)
Congrats bro! Im learning a lot with the tubel academy. Could you give us some advices for going ssecond? Im suprised because every lost dice roll
Congrats! 🎉 Yubel best deck❤
thanks my man and yes, youre right!!
congratulations!!!! :D
Thanks!!
I agree! Squirmer is broken!
@@TrinityYGO yes really sad, but thanks you great with yubel keep going!
I feel like it has more synergy cause it's easier then to kill your opponent, play through time and it can be used during your turn too
Anyway very good deck profile, i saw the light 2 weeks ago and put out super poly. I only kept 1 Yubel fusion for eternal favorite but it can be hard to summon it, but SS spirit still helps a lot. I will try a decklist without them to add Phoenix and mourner.
I played a mirror, it even was a viewer!
And honestly while it was a bit tricky, I think it’s doable if you do it right :)
He even played Spoly and eternal favorite but I still won! I didn’t felt like I’m at a disadvantage :)
The thing with spoly is that phantom of Yubel CANT be used as fusion material which makes spoly a lot weaker against Yubel in the future!
It’s just my preference :)
Amblowhale does have some perks and if you have the space to run a link 2 fire, it’s fine.
I think both are great to play!
Its a cool deck list. I do wanna try some cards on my own deck
what do you think about a small khastira engine?
2 unicrorns
2 fenrir
1 wraitsroth
1 birth
instead of 6 handtraps
and if you go second you can side hand traps if needed
im not sure about that.
What are you usual siding patterns/ pot targets?
Oh i totally forgot to talk about that im sorry!
If i go second i ALWAYS side out the unchained trap. otherwise ghost ogre for nib (if the match up is better for nib) and if i need more non engine, i side out one spirit gates, one spirit of yubel and one terraforming or one for one. (Never side out the pot if you can fish for a good sideboard card with it!)
if i go first, i take out imperm for skilldrain/Dbarrier. i keep veiler so i have something in hand if they lightning storm/feather duster me, against tenpai i side out both veiler and imperm for D-Barrier and Skilldrain since veiler isnt good in that match up.
if you need more cards, you can get away with siding out 2 spirit gates and maybe one beckoning beast but the usual siding pattern was often just enough. It really depends on the match up.
The Pot :
I NEVER went for 6 (Too dangerous and often times you dont need that. ONLY do 6 if youre really really really desperate)
the 3 targets i banished are depending on my hand, if i knew, i want to go for the djinn buster line, i kept djinn buster for example.
I just value flexibility a lot :)
And while it’s only to go for 3, the ability to grab sideboard cards or non engine is still there!
But I agree that the pot is weaker than in other decks because we can’t go for 6 - still, it performed great!
Thanks for your input!
I wanted to ask your opinion as to why you changed from the cosmics to the duster and storms in the side from last list? 👀
I thought a little bit about cosmic and a lot of cards that are cosmic targets, are already covered with ghost ogre :)
I had cosmic in the deck for floodgates and general backrow and then I figured that lightning storm + feather duster would’ve a lot more impact!
Getting Impermed on Dark Beckoning Beast is so painful.
@@TrinityYGO you cant gain the extra normal summon if beast got impermed. You have to summon it again (maybe thanks to opening) to gain it
@@samuelesalvatori457 yeah I know, I didn’t say you keep it, maybe i phrased it a bit weird :)
I wanted to explain that my opponent often uses imperm once they know that so I DONT get one exta normal summon! But since there are so many cards in the deck that makes the imperm useless, it rarely mattered!
Would love to see a video for how Yubel can play against Voiceless Voice. I consistently get demolished by VV during testing.
Any tips?
Congrats on your regional result! Idk if this is the right place for this but i was wondering if provide coaching services?

@@TrinityYGO ok thx
Do you have any experience against Runick variants? The match up has been giving me issues as of late.
ive only played a few times against it at locals or online and it seems really neutral to me. What runick variants are you talking about for example?
What is the mat? The art style looks EXACTLY like something from my childhood that I haven't thought about in years, but I can't place it.

Yubel has been really good against the Snake Eyes decks. Has a really good matchup into it
It depends honestly. I think it’s 50:50
The problem is flamberge and the new snake eyes diabellstar both being able to push your Yubel into the backrow!
Combined with the insane grind game they have and a LOT of handtraps, the match up can be quite difficult. Other than that tho - it’s doable!
What did you think of the labrynth match up?
Super poly in feeling performs better at locals , i cut it at 1st and couldnt win because i kept running into rogue decks , i recently added it back and ended up topping locals because it won me 1 match. Im so conflicted on that card because im taking yubel to YCS indiana , im currently on 9 hand traps with 3 super poly.
while rogue decks are generally weak to superpoly I don’t think you need that to win against them.
I won a few locals in a row without superpoly and I played a lot against rogue decks :)
But I agree ; if you expect a lot of rogue decks, super poly is strong against them! It’s just that you don’t need it necessarily.
@@TrinityYGO oh 100% congrats again bro and thanks for the dope videos

How do you deal with voiceless in this version? From my experience the princess version struggles when its unable to target it's opponents monsters.
Well it’s the "same” version as the versions without princess :) you still have the same amount of interruptions and plays + the princess!
So you don’t really have to adapt your play style just because of the princess’
Did you find yourself only banishing 3 for prosperity? I can't seem to find 6 extra deck monsters to banish without losing a key piece
yep. 99% of time, i only go for 3!
If you get shiftered it allows you to recoup your resources in turn 2 and beyond. if you get stopped its pretty hard to kill through a yubel if you arent snake eye or tenpai. you can activate eternal favourite on chain link 2 and summon a spirit and get it's effect. just so much stuff you can do with the card.
what are your generic prosp banishes ?

@@TrinityYGO another use case is that tenpai can’t swing over any of your monsters.
Keep in mind that I play a link 2 fire monster in the extra deck to combat the lock :)
I personally don’t like the piri Reis map because i prefer to have a lot of flexibility in my plays but in theory it’s okay!
Everytime I activated piri in the past before LEDE, it felt really awkward!
But I agree : prosperity is more dangerous in this deck than in others because you basically can never go for 6 but it performed really good!
And I think it’s better to maybe cut ty-phon for the rank 10 instead of accesscode if you want a time card :)
Thanks for your input my friend, I appreciate it!
