Surprised to see John wasn't there that blue patio did a good job pulling that plow. What tires are on that 420 and can you plow with that next?

Jon is being kind of a snowflake lately so he hasn't been around much, ya the 112 patio did pretty good. Rear tires on 420 are Carlisle tru powers and fronts are the ching Chong v61 5 ribs. I could plow with the 420 in the Spring but I need to get the plow that is for it in working order because the tires are too wide to fit in the furrow of the 10" plow

Why do I have a sudden urge to buy an old mower and doing exactly this? How much do you have in this setup

It's a garden tractor not a mower. Big difference. If u buy just any ol mower u won't be able 2 plow. I Probably have around $3000 in this setup, but that's because I rebuilt the engine in the 140 and repainted it and put good tires on it.

I got a JD 140 H3 for under $200. Got a the same plow for $75. But those plow normally go for about $100-$150. Getting a tractor with the sleeve hitch or 3pt can run run from $500 to as much as 3-5k. There's A Lot of tractors to choose from. Johndeer, Cub Cadets, or even Sears, Wheelhorse and Bolens. I recommend JD or CC. I also recommend the bigger ones that will have 26 inch rear tires. They are Super Garden tractors. Supers are 200 to 300lbs heavier automatically and thats a big deal. Good luck and enjoy.
