    @GaleeStorm 5 месяцев назад +1

    I think the first game was the luckiest I have ever seen you get. Topdecking 2 rot priests and then getting the pump spell last turn was insane. That's the one criticism I have for your videos, you don't always include the decks winrate, so someone might actually see the video and see it winning and think its a viable deck

    • @GaleeStorm
      @GaleeStorm 5 месяцев назад

      Especially because you normally post all your wins or mostly wins with 1 loss

    • @LegenVD
      @LegenVD  5 месяцев назад +4

      I’m always happy to give my opinion on a deck at the end of each video, which will distill my experience of playing the deck in the current meta. Sharing winrates over a sample of 10 or fewer games is statistically insignificant and can be skewed by a lot of factors, such as play/draw and the surprise factor of an unknown deck which wears off after a few days. That’s why you won’t see me claim any outlandish win rates in my video titles. I always recommend to people that are tight on wildcards to wait a week or so after a video is posted so Untapped has time to gather more data on the deck. That way you’ll get a much bigger sample size and a more honest representation of a deck. Videos are also meant to be entertaining and nobody wants to see games where someone doesn't get to play Magic.

    Good stuff - question: when you're holding up protection spells, shouldn't you play more Rotpriests before attacking? Just to get more poison counters in case you have to play a protection card. Match 2 has an example when you attacked the second time

    • @LegenVD
      @LegenVD  5 месяцев назад +1

      If they have removal they would likely just cast it in response to the second Rotpriest, so we would just give them extra information before they have to decide what to cast. The exception is with cards like Wandering Emperor where the timing of their removal could matter.
