Lock up kits are great. I've got a Richards auto in mine. In 6th gear, 110kmph, the rpm is 1600 and 1500rpm at 100kmph. Also, when it comes to sand driving the temps without it, go through the roof. Save on fuel a bit as well. A lock up kit for the price is worth installing if doing trans remap imo.
They do what they are programmed to do and that’s just lock up We change shift points, kick down point, how hard it changes gear as well as lock up. There’s no wiring to fail from it being spliced into ecu and no button to have to press or have someone press by mistake. The trans tune is cheaper than the lock up switch on its own let alone getting it installed and does a lot more. All I can say is I’m pulling plenty out and putting trans tunes in and they are getting better fuel consumption as we get it to top gear lock up quicker (4th lock up around 60kmh usually as well as 5th and 6th) as well as it driving like it should without kicking down
Hi, do you know anybody in the perth area that does something similar to your tune and transmission remap for a 2018 200 series. What you're achieving is what im after - not a dirty black smoking / over fueling thing thats not me , I love my 200 series but would also love a bit more power and less flaring / high transmission temps when towing 3,500 kg caravan. Kind regards Clarky
Another great very informative video mate.
Thanks mate. Just trying to give people info on what they can do to their cars

I've got a Richard's in mine and it keeps throwing faults...piece of shit 😢
@hickory01au common story unfortunately
I note you bring 5th in at 50km/h. Does this lock the torque converter at these low speeds or does it leave it unlocked?

Nice video bro! Did you disconnect/ remove front driveshaft to run the LC200 on a 2wd dyno?
Thanks mate!
Yes at the moment we have to drop front shaft
I was going to ask the same question
Can you do email or remote tunes using hp tuners, and if so how much do the 200.
A 200 has power to all wheels. how is it you can have it on a dyno with just rear only?
We lock centre diff and remove front driveshaft
how can i get this tune done in Scotland on my 200 series
Don’t know anyone over there sorry, but you can send me your ECU and we can bench tune here
Hi what is the cost for this tune ?
Give us a call on 07 5491 4626
What is with the 2 wheel run on dyno
It’s a 2wd dyno
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 well you can not do a proper run on dyno, they are constant 4wd
You can and I’m not the only shop doing it. You lock centre diff and disconnect front driveshaft. It’s then constant rwd
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 then it's another bullshit results
@geoffbognar9364 How so?
Can you do a ECU remap on a Landcruiser lc200 2021 model?
Sure can
All 200 series, petrol or diesel and even the new 300 series
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 do you have anyone in Melbourne
My tuna is gutless at 2.5t empty but when loaded Omg it's a slug haha
So when should we book you in? Ha ha
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 wifey will kill me if I spend more money haha
Use this line, works everytime ha ha
