That’s what I always liked about Lennon he always told the truth and sometimes he really busted himself for being an egotistical brat as he got older. When they split up he really said some bad things about Paul McCartney’s albums even Wings. Then after they made up he was talking up how good his last album he made was. He said it drove him crazy every time Paul or one of the others came out with an album he was so jealous, as his song goes “I’m just a jealous guy”. We miss you John.

Alas, an undesirable vocal rendition of this fine song; the backing vocals are all over the place. His age has caught up with him in this respect, though voice loss due to age, is almost a certainty. Aside from that, the song is such a sweet one, and the original recording was most beautiful. McCartney gets an "A" for his willingness to preserve the memory of these early songs.

It may not have been the time and place, but Paul didn’t mention the song was co-written by him and George. That’s as interesting as the fact it cost 5£ to record it. It would have been nice to hear something about the circumstances under which they wrote it, and how/when they introduced it to John. Paul’s a phenomenal talent but he’d make a poor historian.

As Paul has often said he was busy making history, other people can record it. He is not a historian, to boring, only the greatest singer/song writer on the planet and has sold more records than any other human and along with the other 3 have changed the culture of the world, so give him a break

No problem. It has quite a sweet history. Also filmed by me here, a performance by the original members: ruclips.net/video/Kh4EvQZ_e3Y/видео.html 4 out of 5 members there played with Lennon or even Lennon, McCartney and Harrison. And 2 of them played on the original record.

Sad you thought that way. I don't think they are in it for any money, just lads in their 80's enjoying themselves: ruclips.net/video/xw3WWSPVffY/видео.html
