    9 min in and i so LOVE this and agree with Kyle. my natural disposition is anxious and sensitive. Ive developed fatigue after getting Covid in late december last year. My life is so out of line and especially when i got covid i was in a dark place emotionally, right nm not happy in my job and the city where i live in and to me its definitvely a sign of making some changes in order to stop my emotional and physical suffering. having trouble setting boundaries etc, not blame anyone else but make some changes. also just when i had recovered, a friend of mine tragically passed away and it was all too much for me. mind and body are definitively connected and i will look after both and really dig deeper to get to the root and most importantly follow my heart and find my authentic self :)

    The other “terrible irony” of these kinds of illnessess is that with social media and fb groups and online programmes and healing summits etc etc mixed with everyones enormous desire to get well, there is now such an overload of information and tools and techniques being put out there; she did this, she did that, he recovered with this, he recovered with that, I have to do that diet, Ieliminate that food group, I have to try that supplement, I have to try this, that, more activity, less activity etc etc etc, it is actually keeping everyone in their heads and in their thinking and solving and planning and whirring brains and therefore in vigilance and in a chronic stress response and its just perpetuating the problem! Getting out of the head and into the body is so vital to activate the healing parasympathetic response, to calm down limbic overdrive and to listen to the body and our emotions, which express in the body! Lovely interview!

    Thank you. I find this very encouraging. I´m not diagnosed yet, but I have many symptoms of Me/Cfs. It all started for me 5 months ago. Suddenly I lost the person most dear to me in the whole world. I went into shock. The next week, I got covid. The following months were so intensly stressful, and the emotional trauma of the loss difficult to deal with. I thought I felt ok, so I did a strenous exercise program in the end of July. My body crashed completely. I had a fever for 7 days. Tried again, with gentle yoga, and the same thing happened. Now the symptoms are constant. I ordered Kyle´s book. Looking forward to reading it!

    I’ve heard of so many recovering using Mickel Therapy and Reverse Therapy! Deep emotional work and the stress response, the MindBody is one, there is no separation, the answers are there, not in a diet or a supplement or a drug, they are just bandaids for downstream effects on the body.

    How true this is, I am going on a trip to see family, and even though I have been happy to go the last couple of days I have had a real increase in symptoms when just a few days before my plan to go I had a real flow glowing and was feeling more healed than ever. So I know my subconscious is just anticipating the trip. It's not the food or the weather or anything else it's just my brain worrying unconsciously. I am glad to know this but it is a very trying time to keep on keeping on with the training and love to self. I know often after a crash or ebb I often do gain more momentum than before the the hard time. So I am looking forward to that. My tool that works the most is singing more than anything else but only happy words and sounds. Thanks for this interview. Love you R! xxx ooo

    I sometimes wonder if our emotions, unhappiness, depression, whatever lowers our immune system and thus allows the viruses to rise up and cause CFS.I haven’t finished listening to this podcast but that thought came to my mind. I’m very sensitive as well but I lived my life very well for a long time and it took many years of stress, some traumatic events and feeling like my life was not my own to push me over the edge into chronic fatigue. Diet helped me a lot but that could just be another example of supporting our immune system and thus allowing it to become stronger to fight the viruses. Very interesting, it’s sort of “both and” possibly.

    • @ericaswainson1405
      @ericaswainson1405 3 года назад +1

      Yes that's what I think happens for some of us . I had long history of stress anorexica lots before cfs got severe. Its lots of stuff emotions beliefs etc overloading the system on different levels.
      I've always known cfs is more then a virus then you come down with it in a night for myself anyway. I'm also autistic with fibro ME and these get confusing in what triggers my shut downs.

    • @KyleDaviesonline
      @KyleDaviesonline 3 года назад +1

      Hey Sherrie, I'd agree with your first statement, I think there are multiple primary causes, but the prolonged unconscious suppression of emotions and 'true self' play the biggest roll, in my opinion. I love this interview so much! Thank you both for sharing, and Raelan as always you ask the right questions! (as I was thinking them hehe) I have been searching for answers in the mind-body for a long time. Doctors even advised me to get more into my body, when I first got diagnosed with endometriosis 15 years ago they asked me if I was happy here (I´m an expat) and if I was lonely. Many psychologists also got me towards the path of healing my inner child, of being a very sensitive "high thinker" type of person. I have thoroughly enjoyed the book "when the body says no" BUT it didn´t really give any answers as to how to change this, how to rewire so I´ll look into your website (also heading to Joe Dispenza now)
