I'm not military or anything, but from what I understand from other former military people's perspective and that there are actual former SEALs and other spec op guys in the show, it's pretty accurate tactically. The ridiculous thing about the diner scene is how Jack Carr's character made zero effort to hide that was ex-military. Would love to see you review, "The Siege of Jadotville." Tells the story of an amazing Irish battalion, fighting against overwhelming odds, while getting screwed over by their bosses and the UN Security Council during the Congo Wars / coups. Shows amazing combat leadership as well as tactics defending a fixed position against a numerically superior force. Really enjoyed your review of Fury, btw

Now I'm in the Philippines and the 1st Group Guys stand out like beacons with their tacticool hats, shirts, stretchy pants & Merrill or Solomon hiking boots. Katie Buranek's character in the book has an emotional connection to James Reece because his dad extracted her family from Eastern Europe at the end of the Cold War. The character was changed to accommodate Hollywood's diversity quota.
riiighhhhtt.... and in the process managed to completely ruin the story. They could have easily just changed the nationality but kept the rest of the character arc...but no! that would have made sense and we cannot have logic anywhere in these series. So, instead, she's literally just a random reporter lady who for some unexplained reason decides to totally help the maniac killing people. She just goes from ''omg, he's a maniac!" to ''yay, I', gonna help the maniac explain and cover up his crimes!" within like 5 minutes for literally zero reason. I trully believe that the people who wrote this show were brain damaged. That is literally the only explanation I can think of for such ''creative licence".
Now a contractor, was on business in Germany and decided to take a trip over to Luxembourg to check out the scene with some buddies. Tell them to meet me at a Cafe downtown and I can see them from a mile away, all operator'd out. I was just like come on guys, you're not even trying lmfao
Most of your points are indeed valid. Some of the acting felt stiff and like they had no character but compared to other military related series I’ve seen, this is one of the top ones for me
25:00 and the problem with claiming self-defense, I learned this during the Rittenhouse trial, is that requires you to admit and commit to the fact you DELIBERATELY killed this person, but for good reason. It's a gamble because you go into trial at that point as an admitted murderer in your own words.

27:20 - Just a quick heads-up... ST6 may have not been to space, but Bill Shepherd, Christopher Cassidy and Dr. Jonny Kim are all Seals and astronauts.
I'm with you Buck. I have never been able to get through the first episode of this show. Maybe I'll try it again if you bend up liking it. Seems like we are on the same page
Great reaction guys 👍 I liked the action scenes of the show what I found funny about it was the way Chris Pratt played the role of soldier, there were moments when I thought he was a robot.
Also I find it funny that you went on and on about how Chris was dressed in the show, but i can tell you, hang around someplace like Virginia Beach or Bragg and you will see hundreds of his twins wandering around town every day...
I hate it when people say stuff like that bc 1- none of the logic in the movie works, it may be technically accurate in terms of a few moves here and there but the moves are happening in a fight scene which makes zero sense. so who cares? 2 - 99.9% of the audience is not gonna notice those little trivia details you're all excited about. They're gonna notice Chris Pratt looking like he's got brain damage AND severe hemorrhoids tho, throughout most of the movie.
if the movie had ended with the main character waking up from Severe Hemorrhoids-induced hallucinations, that would have actually been a better ending. It would have made a lot more sense. Even the confused stripper would have been like: "Ohhhhh, I get it now. " It would have definitely explained his fun collection of rope and turkey necks.
I normally don't read fiction either but I did read all of the "Terminal List" books. In fact, I actually listened on audiobook, 2 times per book. I thought they were very good. The first season of the show made quite a few changes and omissions of details in the book. It'll be hard to know how bad that is in the grand scheme of things until more seasons start dropping. I'm not optimistic the way television entertainment has gone lately. I'm fairly confident that it's not Jack Carr who is ordering Amazon to dial up the drama. In the books, I felt it was always well placed and well written. In the show, I would bet a lot that it's Amazon changing what the books said, often times quite drastically. Changing 1 character's entire role and fate in the series. One of them was killed off in the first book but in the show this person (so I don't spoiler) received a completely different fate for... You decide what for. 😉
Question from a civilian from you guys or the group: when doing CQB, how do you clear two rooms across from each other in the same hallway? Like door on the left, door on the right directly across from each other?
Totally agree with the rant, never served but boi do cops and mil guys stick out like sore thumbs. 5.11 pants, under armor polo and hat with gatorz or Oakleys and sand colored shoes. 😂
I was with my nephew in Atlanta Airport when he was out of the Rangers for little over a year. He goes that guys dressed like a Ranger then he goes that one to. He was embarrassed because he had a t shirt with a Ranger tab on it. The funny thing all of them might of as well because you all are right, you stick out. He actually sees someone he knows and they start talking and he is asking about guys and they keep stopping in mid sentence to not give any details. You are correct that you suppose not stand out, but your egos and that is human nature. You want to be in that fraternity. My sons wrestle in college and I thought it be the same but it is not. These young men can bury you, but with my two sons you never know.
19th homie here. You nailed it, when on a trip I skipped the gatorz and rocked raybans and express for Mens. I pulled more tail as well. Hey I want to start a channel how can we link up?
It's for his Severe-Hemorrhoids. They cause random hallucinations. It's all in his journals, and that's why we now have this series :). #BasedonRealEvents
Not true. Guardians movies have high critics score, her have a high score. He has done some shitty movies though. And at the end of the days you just have to realize that critics will look at certain stuff and review it from a certain viewpoint. That doesn’t mean everyone will think it is good or bad. You might just have an ability to overlook some stuff that critics generally dislike. I like tacticool stuff, so the terminal list was good in my opinion. But I also understand that it has a lot of flaws.
lol always preaching truth and hilarious as always. Even non Military guys make the same mistakes of pointing out who they are. Guys who CCW and wear 5.11 hats, camo backpacks, gun industry T-shirts, tactical boots.

Kurt simping for the Fast & Furious franchise is the funniest damn thing I've seen all year.

As much I dislike F&F after the first one it is indeed funny as hell LmAo.
Kurt: This is the story of the American Dream. Through hardwork and determination...Fast n Furious had been to space. That brought tears to my eyes.

Which part in the 3rd book? I haven't read that one in a whileb
Buck face-palming as Kurt justifies Fast & Furious space travel was everything. I hope in the next F&F they time travel.

Bruh the in the bathroom remembering joke was crazy 😂😂😂
Also I find it funny that you went on and on about how Chris was dressed in the show, but i can tell you, hang around someplace like Virginia Beach or Bragg and you will see hundreds of his twins wandering around town every day...
Acting aside from a c q b special operators standpoit was pretty good as far as All the tactical stuff in the movie was pretty spot on
it does have cool operator scenes
It would have definitely explained his fun collection of rope and turkey necks.
Episode 4 reaction please , I really enjoyed this 😊❤❤
Chris Pratt looks like SF PC Principal
Where’s ep 2? Can’t find it
Question from a civilian from you guys or the group: when doing CQB, how do you clear two rooms across from each other in the same hallway? Like door on the left, door on the right directly across from each other?
one at a time, rear covers opposing door as you enter, clear room then cross hallway
Totally agree with the rant, never served but boi do cops and mil guys stick out like sore thumbs. 5.11 pants, under armor polo and hat with gatorz or Oakleys and sand colored shoes. 😂
You guys should do a breakdown of the doc in the special features of the Pacific bluray edition that's narrated by Tom hanks
Gotta keep this TV series coming. I never seen this show but I want to know what happens and more importantly what Sean thinks about it.
Well that was a meme/screenshot of two guys wrestling on a couch😂
I’d love it if you guys could get Dan Crenshaw on for a beers and breakdown of a SEAL movie!
Honest chat very interesting love the reaction class
That FF bit was beautiful 🤣
19th homie here. You nailed it, when on a trip I skipped the gatorz and rocked raybans and express for Mens. I pulled more tail as well. Hey I want to start a channel how can we link up?
What are the stretchy tactical pants? They look comfortable
It's for his Severe-Hemorrhoids. They cause random hallucinations. It's all in his journals, and that's why we now have this series :). #BasedonRealEvents
Your opinion is hilarious. Don't care if it's right or wrong. These shows are fun
The golf course is a part of a country club with houses (target's house) 😂
Random off topic question - what plate carrier do you run?
The critics hate all things Chris Pratt.
Nah, this was just bad
When the critics hate it, it must be good!!
Only the retarded-things-Chris Pratt. Like the Jurrasic Park :).
I feel like he meant the guys in the vid
I think one of the problems was it was Amazon Studios if they had HBO or Showtime do it it probably would’ve been more accurate
Can you guys put subtitles on your end so we can read dialogue for muted scenes? :)
I haven’t seen the show but I did read the book. It’s been awhile but if memory serves me correctly he was suffering from a brain tumor and not ptsd.
You guys are extra red in this ep. 😂 good vibes
lol always preaching truth and hilarious as always. Even non Military guys make the same mistakes of pointing out who they are. Guys who CCW and wear 5.11 hats, camo backpacks, gun industry T-shirts, tactical boots.
