Yamaha has arrived relatively late to the premium 400cc and middleweight category bike market, so it must now bring its A-game, particularly when it comes to pricing
Aprilia will be the kill shot for R3.. Yamaha is too late for this😒 R3 has been out since 4 years, it's almost time for Yamaha to bring out the next gen R3 n here we rushing into this gen R3..
Yea, it's going to be 10 years since the Yamaha R3 was launched and the engine has remained completely unchanged. I feel Yamaha can make it a 350 or 370cc and churn out another 5 more horses. Ninja moved to a 400 years ago.
Being a CBR 250r owner, I understand it very well. Although Honda has 2 bikes in 300cc but they're only naked bikes. But now, realizing that Yamaha is worse than Honda as they've nothing after R15 & FZ25. Forget 300cc, they even don't have 600-700 cc bikes. Don't know if if R1 is available. I've huge respect for Kawasaki that they provide good amounts of bikes from 300cc onwards (excl W175) despite they don't have a market for scooter or smaller CC bikes. & they upgrade their bikes time to time. That's why u see many Z900, Z650, ZX 6R, ZX 10R on Indian roads.
Yes... Well said. I also appreciate Triumph for this. They brought their entire range to India from top to bottom. Other manufacturers treat India very differently.
very good news for R3 lovers in india ..

I don't see any improvement in pricing... Will be expensive as a CKD.
Yep.. If Aprilia brings out the 440 in reasonable price range, R3 will be history..
Only those who owns this gem of a machine knows its worth🫶🏻
I think old r3 will fit the new r3s usd forks ❤
Really? I have also been wondering if that's possible.
Bro.. The whole bike is swappable😂😂 except for the meter n killswitch.. that can be done too if u r willing to swap the wiring harness..

@HighwayToHill They don't bother to care about the entry-level segments, I guess..

Yep, Kawasaki is the only brand bringing out their fleet.. No other Japanese takes this market seriously..
