Both have same specs and features according to the website. I have no idea what the difference is between the 2 and hence don’t know why the price difference.

      @gurucharanchundi 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@HighwayToHill Man I typed my reply 2 times and both the times they were not uploaded due to internet issues lol
      Whew, I will type it again. The Speed 400 is my first motorcycle so I don't have a reference point to compare the tyres to. But yes, I have been riding with them, doing highway trips and these just make me feel like I am in control all the time of the handling and braking. I am just now experimenting with slight decrease/increase in tyre pressures to see what works best for me. I was riding a Suzuki Burgman before but this is completely different in terms of wheel size and tyre compound. I was surprised that I felt comfortable leaning more than I would on the motorcycle at a long curvy stretch on the highway at 100-110. Maybe that's not just the tyres but the tyres were a factor too I felt. In wet roads, I ride in a sedated manner but still whenever I had to brake suddenly, I could do so without any issue.
      Unrelated to the tyre, I have been trying to improve my skills starting from the basics such as gripping the tank with my knees, holding the motorcycle with the heel pressed to the heel plate and my toes on the footpegs, my upper body completely free and relaxed to maneuver the motorcycle, been practicing emergency braking, my major crash taught me to be more aware and cautious while touring on road. I am also not stepping out on the motorcycle now without riding boots and leather gloves (with a helmet of course) Will go to track riding school in future, but any recommendations/tips to improve my skills and experience as you've been riding for a long time now? Thank you!

      @@gurucharanchundi 2 times!! 🥹😢😳 Gosh! But I really appreciate that you took the effort to type again. Thanks man!
      I have actually never usee MRF tyres ever in my life. It's the first time I got it because I read good reviews, specs are same like the other tyres from Apollo, TVS, Michelin etc. And also the fact that Triumph chose to gave it as standard on their bike, I kinda knew it would be good. Thanks sooo much for sharing your experience. Will be helpful for so many others who watch this video.
      I started from scooters too and then moved to bikes 100 cc 150cc 300cc... Since you mentioned about riding gear, please do get knee+shin guards if you don't have already. It's been a savior for me many many times. Because God forbid the moment you fall, knees will get hurt first.

    Bro am a beginer rider... What is tyre balancing? And its relevance?

    • @HighwayToHill
      @HighwayToHill  6 месяцев назад

      Hey... thanks for your question.
      When the tyre is manufactured, it may have light spots and heavy spots. It may not have even weight through out. So this may lead to uneven wear of the tyre, might cause wobble or handling issues. This is the reason for tyre balancing. Extra weight will be stuck on the rims to make it balanced. Balancing is done after the tyre is mounted on rims.
      You may see a yellow paint mark on tyres. This suggest the lightest part of the tyre. It is an indication which tell us that this spot needs to be aligned with the valve part on rim. Valve part is the heaviest part on the rim. So we are basically balancing the heavy section with light section on rim and tyre. This is the first step. After this also, overall balancing needs to be checked.
      Nowadays, manufacturing is very advanced. For example, you might not see the yellow mark on high end tyres. They have perfect weight distribution. However, it still needs balancing once it is mounted on a rim.
      I hope this helps!
