Nice review, but speed comparison with swag is a little unfair due to the swag is usually set up with bedding included (minus a pillow). Personally I have a couple of tents, one for camping trips where I will be generally staying in one place over night (Blackstump, no longer sold) and another tent for extended stays in one location (Blackwolf turbo 240). Do you think that this tent is suitable for both overnight camping and extended camping?
Hey mate, great point swag does include the mattress, but I haven't found a swag mattress that I'm happy with yet and normally have to bring along a topper to put on it. Yep we have used this tent for overnighters and week long trips, also for trips where we pack up and reset up every day. Where we found it let us down was winter!! Geez it got cold inside. But I reckon that would be every tent. That's why we use the swag in winter tent in summer.
Great review mate thanks. Just wondering if the blackout function means the tent space will get really hot in summer. I presume it'll be warmer for winter camping compared to a regular tent.
Hey mate, actually it's quite the opposite, blocks out the sun from penetrating the tent and heating up the inside. Yes it's not as breathable, but the inside doesn't get as hot during the day as a tent that is. Highly recommend one, we use this over the swag 99% of the time.
I have been reading alot of bad reviews regarding this tent collapsing in high winds. Have you had any concerns with this tent since you have been using it?
G'Day mate, Collapsing in the wind!! I would say that's user error, we have had this for over 2 years and been in some crazy storms by accident. No issues. The wind would have to be pushing downwards for that to happen 🤔 Maybe the people had had a few 🍺🥴 Before setting up hahahahaha
Have used this tent across Australia last 7 months and it has been a great tent. Hit winds up to 34 in Wallaroo SA and tent held up although was not sure for a bit. Also had no condensation problems and kept us dry even in heavy rain
Hello Stephanie, I now use this tent for work camping on Fraser island 3 nights a week. I definitely don't have any issues with condensation, I'd say those people had the tent all closed up and no way for the humid air to get out. You have to have air flow in any tent to stop it.

Hi mate, great review. Love your hat, what brand and type is your hat?
G'Day mate! Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it. It's an Akubra Cattlemen 👍

Ive read lots of reviews about terrible condensation inside this tent. Did you experience this?
