Awesome selections PK! I'm currently playing through the Indie Heros 1 collection now. I really love that cart. I beat all the games on the Morphcat collection, that was a good one too. I also enjoy the Data East 1 arcade cart as well.
Thanks man ! Indie heroes is a blast to play! I have the digital version of Micro Mages I really need to give that one a go again. The Data East arcade collection has some really good ones on it too.
That's a good list and I have to mostly agree. Galeco arcade 1 might make my list and I'm hopeful Alwa/Cathedral and Irem1 might make my list when they come out. I think Piko 1 is underrated. It's almost always in my VS as it offers such a variety of games and most of the best rpgs. I struggle to rate XenoCrisis cartridge because I think Xenocrisis is my favorite game available on the Evercade but I'm not a huge fan of Tanglewood so it's tough to rate that cart against the ones that offer so much more but definitely a top cart. Renovations was definitely a huge addition to the library and Arcus Odyssey was easily my favorite of that bunch. Fun video!
Thanks man . Yeah I’ll definitely need to do an updated list when Alwa/Cath cart and Indie Heroes 2 come out , I’ll probably do one next year . The guys over at Blaze are putting out some good stuff for sure
@@PKInTheUniverse They certainly are. I'm not a handheld guy so I'm a little bummed the Capcom collection is only going to be available on the EXP and won't be available on the VS (at least not for now). I think Breath of Fire might be the best RPG available on the Evercade and there are many excellent games in that collection.
@@aboyandhisdogRE I’m really glad those are on Evercade because I never would’ve got to try those out otherwise. I didn’t know too much about the Dizzy games or even who the Oliver twins were. The Evercade has given me a much greater appreciation for British developers.
@@PKInTheUniverse and its given me stuff I'd never seen. Like the intellivision is all new too me. It was mostly just atari and then spectrum, c64 etc down our way. I do hope we get a spectrum collection in the future 🔥
I disagree with a few of your choices, but subjectivity is the beauty of Evercade. My five would be. Gaelco 1 Gaelco 2 Renovation Indie Heroes Atari 1 I really love the Gaelco carts (playing through Alligator Hunt atm). I would never have heard of this developer if not for Evercade, now I can't stop playing their games.
@@PKInTheUniverse You should really check out Gaelco 1. Alligator Hunt and Biomechanical Toy are two of the best games on the Evercade in my opinion. They're pretty wild but both really fun and addictive.
I canceled a few pre-orders to prioritize getting something else that I’m gonna talk about next month. I took a weekend seasonal job. It’ll be some nice extra cash.
New to evercade just saw most of the carts on your list are discontinued and hard to find . Any tips on where to find some of these. Also, I saw a new Piko collection one will it have some of the same games or is it completely new?
Funstock , Amazon, VGP, songbird productions, Castlemania games, etc . It can be challenging to find some of the games that are discontinued now. My advice is just buy what you want to play. So many people are very caught up in this gotta collect them all mentality.
You can still purchase the EU/PEGI versions of all the discontinued carts except for Technos Collection 1, which will cost you quite a bit on the secondary market (one just sold on eBay a few days ago for $200+).
I'm thinking maybe Megacat collection should be a strong, strong runner up...plus the Jaleco collection wasn't bad. PS...I play the heck outta dinotopia and all the Piko v1 games!
What are your top 5 Evercade carts?

Indie Devs++
That's the whole reason I'm into the Evercade ecosystem, love it!
It’s definitely the thing I love most about Evercade. I’m getting the good boy galaxy / witch n’ wiz dual cart soon .
River City is also one of my favorites! Girls was very good, and the GBA one was fun, I remember beating that one as well.
It’s so good . I really need to try RCG , i’ve heard nothing but good things.
Solid choices! I'd agree pretty much apart from Technos. I put that one in my bottom 5 lol
Thanks ! Yeah that’s what I love about Evercade there is something there for everyone.

Good video. Just subscribed. All the best.
Great picks. I'm not such a fan of Technos, but I looove indie Heroes, Piko and the duo cart is top tier 🔥
Thanks! yeah Indie and piko are so dang good , if I don’t know what to play they are definitely my goto collections.
@@PKInTheUniverse same. And being an old British fart, I have a weakness for the oliver twins collection. Dizzy was my childhood 😍😂

Gaelco 1

Renovation
Indie Heroes
Atari 1

Yeah that’s kind of the beauty of gaming in general, we can all have our own tastes.
I don’t own any of the Gaelco collections. Great selections !

I really wish I could invest in it. Would love to have them all. Bad cash flow this year.

Piko 1 is one of the best
Absolutely! It really has something for everyone
@@PKInTheUniverse yeah it’s so cool and such a good collection for the system
Yeah when you consider what these things games cost on steam , even on sale, it’s an absolute steal
