Ha ha, that's great Dom. I bet you have learned by now that the Swan river crab is the best. Although I had a house in Sth Yunderup on the river 40 years ago. Bloody Blue crab doesnt get to us. They dont come across the SA border ??. I miss crabbing........

Hey mate awesome vid and hopefully I will see you down this way, something I have been taught is if you do run over a pot switch the motor off in gear, that way the prop stops spinning straight away. If you put it in neutral the prop keeps spinning and will aid in the rope being wrapped around it.

We have crabs like that on the east coast of the United States they vary in color and leg and claw length depending on distribution. Pretty cool to see the difference between our blue claw and yours. Check out the difference between Blue claws in New Jersey, and Florida. Thanks for the video
Oh yes, I've seen a few vids from the US in regards to Crabbing in general..and surprised to see the Florida species are harvested for their claws only. You're welcome! And thanks very much.

Great catch Mr Fish Tucker man …… no comment from me being this early in the new year on the cook up 😂 needless to say the stockpile of tissues I bought during COVID have greatly reduced in number .
