New episodes of the 20 in 20 coming at you every Friday! You can get ahead by grabbing my guide at parisinmypocket.com and having the best time in Paris! 🥂🥂
About time this has gotten a face lift. Paris has gotten better, Jay has gotten better and so much more experience for Jay to share. AND Cooper!! Thanks for putting this series back out there and keeping Paris in our lives. 🎊 🎉🍾
Stoked for the reboot of the series. I feel like the old one was wandering around, getting lost, getting rained on, and finally having a coffee and a cookie. Don't get me wrong: I dug the old series... but this one is like starting off right away with an espresso, lunch, hip hang out spot, dinner - no wandering around, no getting lost, no rain - only fun.
I love the 20th! I visited here for a few weeks at the edge of Menilmontant and it was my most local neighborhood stay. I probably walked the entire arrondisement during that time.
One of my favorite days on our 2019 visit to Paris was a Paris Day of the Dead. My daughter and I went to visit The Catacombs and then shot across town to visit Père Lachaise.
In Paris since yesterday, using the guide when lost for a spot to eat. Can’t wait to use it more. Off to the 16th tomorrow, hope it will come in handy.
Soooo ¡fabuloso! I hope the app is out by the time I get to Paris this July….and wish there was a “Provence-in-my-Pocket”, lol! Your Paris-I-M-P is wonderful! Thank you!!
I would love more content on what it's like to live in Paris, or maybe France more generally. Going there for grad school in about a year and have no idea what to expect!
Glad this series is getting another run. Just wish it had started earlier since it won’t be finished before we go to Paris this summer. The good news is Pere Lachaise is on the itinerary, so starting at 20 worked out well for me! I’ve never been to the 20th but I’m much more familiar with the central arrondisemonts.
I am leaving for Paris this evening! I watched a previous 20eme video you did where you went to Hotel Particulier for dinner. Looked so lovely so I made a lunch ressie there. Thank you!
You should have seen my mom’s face when I told her that I was taking her to a cemetery 😂. She did end up loving it. Pere LaChaise is so interesting but OMG even wearing sneakers, my feet hurt. It’s BIG and tons of cobblestones.
I'll be going to Paris later in the year than I ever have at the end of Ocotber/beginning of November. This may be a dumb question, but is outdoor cafe seating still going or do they kinda close that down when the weather gets colder / potentially rainier?
Hi Jay! I just bought the Paris in my Pocket pdf specifically to find out the mystery restaurant but the ones you mentioned didn’t look like they were it. Can you message it to me?
If you're visiting Pere Lachaise, stop by the grave of Antoine-Augustin Parmentier, without whom your favorite potato-based food may not exist en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoine-Augustin_Parmentier

An American expatriate living in Paris. You are living my dream!

Was there today, loved walking around in the rain. Reminded me of the mother in Last Tango In Paris.
Pere lachaise is the one place I have visited every single time I’ve been to Paris. #1 on my list any day.
Jay, do a video for introverts ie places to explore in Paris with minimal human interaction.
Yes please!
I love how your comment has received the most thumbs up!
Stay home and watch videos if you don't like people

You're in luck - I've been daily vlogging for almost three months - hit my channel up and see what you find =D
Mmm yes that Tapas looked so yummy as did your lunch at ??? Didn’t know that the 20th had so much in it. Great to see 20 in 20 back. Cheers Jay!
I have to go find my color-in map you sent out for the first 20 in 20!! Glad it's back. 😊👍

I’m saving that quote “ the fact of death can destroy you and the idea of death can save you “
My neigbhorhood. Gambette, Menilmontant , Parc de Belleville, St Fargeau, St Blaise
He’s back!

very nice I want to go Paris so bad
Love this series! Thank you Jay 🙏🏻
I love this 💛
Very nice videos. wish you could slow down just a touch and paused on details for a bit longer (architecture , gardens, other details)
Do you have a list of places to stay in each neighborhood?
Cool!
What is the book that had that wonderful quote in it?

When we went, we went in October and all the outdoor seating was still open
It's possible to find this first restaurant based on the video. Short name, right? ;)

Hi Jennifer! We replied to your email a few days ago :)
@@JaySwanson oooh thank you - sorry it was in my “junk folder”!
👾 @ 5:48?
Wow - looks like it... good eyes👀! I wonder if Jay did that as an Easter Egg.
Since I bought the guide, I figured out the secret restaurant!
Jay, are you still capturing Invaders with your phone?
Must be very hilly. You were out of breath at times ❤
I know you are gonna laugh but you can't beat Lavazza coffee and im picky lol
