I once read on a motorcycle number plate ‘No need for a therapist; my motorcycle keeps me sane’. Although a professional therapist is a live saving endeavour, there’s nothing like feeling sane and centred on a motorcycle. Great film!

You will not see motorcycles parked in front of the mental health counselors office.
Nothing, nothing could relieve the stress like a good 2 wheeler. I stopped riding due to my age. Last bike was a 2001 Triumph Sprint ST. I actually started much younger than most. My parents rode when my Mom was pregnant.
You have reminded me how much I need this back in my life. I need to seriously look at at 3 wheelers.
    Nice video, thanks.

I had a terrible career decision that went terribly wrong. That led to six months at home (4 on garden leave) and two with the pressure of job hunting with a greatly reduced income. When the spring arrived, snow melted and the temperature crept up the first thing I did was ride my motorcycle for 2 hours straight in the sun. The freedom, feeling centred, focused on how great the Z900RS felt through the curves and the mindfulness was the escape and lift that I needed. I forgot about the stress, the guilt of what my family was experiencing because of me and the uncertainty. This video is incredibly inspiring and congratulations to all the ladies involved 😊

Excellent video, the motorcycle is the therapy, the more you ride it the more therapeutic it becomes.
When riding you simply cannot be anywhere else, the riding demands your complete attention and so there's no room for anything else in the mind, this is the very definition of mindfulness, and mindfulness is to be in the here and now.Nowness is mindfulness.

Beautifully shot film, met a couple of the ladies in this at the Edinburgh Distinguished Gentlemans Ride this year and it was brilliant to see how many turned up to show support and engage with mental health awareness. Roll on 2023!

Great video and well said, not only riding a bike gives you the feeling of freedom and at peace with yourself and to have the privilege of being able to ride the stunning roads in Scotland too is awesome, bringing mental awareness to all is a great thing to do, I’ve ridden all around Scotland and the outer Hebrides and also the DGR and as you know brings awareness to mental health, thank you and safe riding 👍

In our first years of marriage my wife started-out as my pillion, then passed her test and got her own bike. Fast-forward fifteen years and we've two kids, and though I've encouraged her and bought a couple of the retro-style Bonnies she likes, she says she's no inclination to ride. Shame. I think it's a great mind-clearing activity. I guess she'll be back on two wheels when she wants to. Enjoyed the video by the way.

A well put together film . Life is tough, more so now then ever before so getting out on my bike is so important to make the mind smile. To those people who are struggling you are not alone .

What a brilliant presentation. Good on you. Your standing up on the bike is exactly what I do, and it is SO fab, isn’t it? Go easy, go well.

I hate it when these people attach their psycosis with such a fun and light activity ....its true motorcycling does have positive effects on the way you feel but so does every fun activity you get a chance to do...
Saying i ride to take my mind off everything else or I ride to cure my anxiety sounds so melodramatic .
Keep it real gals.. motorcycling is about speed , freedom and a canvas you can design and decorate to suit and represent your taste and personality... its not a mental healt pill and it does not heal you if you have real psycological issues.... we cant expect Ted Bundy to start riding a motorcycle and whenever he felt a urge to kill some one he would jumo on his bikes drag knee through a few twisties and forget that he wanted to kill someone
