    Ahhhh your PSA has touched upon one of my life’s rule…or law; CRC = Consideration, Respect & Courtesy, they apply to any and all things and I will.

    At 7:37, Cole says the most powerful thing. Really opens up and the dialog just flows. Great stuff per usual.
    And on cars parking in the RV spots, it’s like taking a dump in the handicap stall when there are 3 other stalls available. Be respectful.

    Good Tuesday morning Workin; for the Wild. What can I say..another great video from a strong self sufficient offgrid woman. As the poets say: Autumn is a beautiful time of year. Yes, it's always sad that summer is over, but that doesn't mean Fall isn't worthy of the same affection. The leaves change from green to an incredible display of vibrant colors, just as your cheeks get a little ruddy from the colder weather. 😉😉😎😎🌼🌷🌷

    Last year my daughter and I did the jump off , the secret tunnel at clingmans , and clingmans dome hike in one day. We rolling into newfoundgap at 6 am and the lot was over 1/2 full. By lunchtime the trails where packed full of people. The views are awesome , but solitude is nonexistent . I still love hiking the smokies even if it is real busy.

    I like to go hiking to get AWAY from people. Haha. To enjoy nature, quietness and the views.
    I live in the area and will keep my secret trails to myself. Walking down a trail, “excuse me, pardon me.” Kids screaming, people talking does not make for a peaceful hike. On top of that when you’re done the hike you fight traffic.
    Great video , thank you. Enlightening

    Beautiful hike! I can see why it’s crowded.
    I live in my 26’ RV and that parking lot PSA was right on. Happens to me all the time! I’ve gotten so used to struggling for parking at trailheads that I arrive a butt crack dawn to be sure I get a spot.
    Fun video! Thx!

    • @WorkinfortheWild
      @WorkinfortheWild  2 года назад +1

      Yup! I always try to research ahead of time and use Google maps satellite to look at the parking lot configuration. It was great this parking lot had so much designated RV parking. Not so great that 90% of the spots were taken by non-RVers!

  • @timaz1066

    Great public service announcement. I’m sorry to say that people just don’t care. You can talk to any person that has been RVing for a while and they will say the same thing. Thank you guys for the video.

    • @WorkinfortheWild
      @WorkinfortheWild  2 года назад

      Ugh, it's so frustrating! We get it's a popular area, but there's a reason there are designated RV spots.

  • @davidburkholder7360

    While it's true that cars parking in reserved spots is rude the greater problem is lack of enforcement. A rule is only as valuable as it is enforced. Nice hike.

    Thanks for the PSA - Buses and RV's have the fewest options, please don't park in them. Loved the hike!!

    We definitely recommend Abrams Falls if you guys are still in the area. It’s located within Cades Cove. It’s a beautiful five mile round trip hike. It was our first family hike and we definitely didn’t prep well; but we had a great time regardless. Safe travels. Loved the video

      Unfortunately we're long gone from the area but heard good things about that spot! I was a little adventured out after driving the whole Blue Ridge Parkway and then this hike so we didn't explore as many hikes as usual while we were around here!
