California is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
As someone who've never had much of a chance to see our glorious, majestic nation aside from the boring, bland east coast, and someone who's struggling with feeling "stuck" in a lonely, difficult place in life right now, your videos bring me hope and comfort. Just thinking about possible road trips, seeing the western beauty of America, and the quiet drone of tires on pavement, is so relaxing and peaceful for me. Being able to hope that one day I might drive these roads and see these sights, helps me keep going. Thank you.
Happy to hear that. Hope you get the chance to travel and see more of the country someday soon. 💙
I can relate to this very good. While I am not from the states, it still is one of my dreams to drive there and see all the breathtaking beauty. I hope you will be able to do it someday.
I sincerely hope you get a chance to see this gorgeous country. I’m a foreigner living in the US for 20 yrs now. I’ve travelled to all 50 states. 300K+ miles driven in my own cars in the contiguous US. Seen a lot of beauty. And yet I’ll go back many times to see the parts that I haven’t seen yet. You can spend a lifetime exploring and enjoying this amazing country. The contrasts in natural beauty are awesome.
Sameee. im stuck in the east coast (NYC) and i just hate how everything is a concrete jungle. i just wanna be one with nature....
Another great one from you. Thank you for doing this. It is so relaxing and the quality is just superb. Best channel on YT for US driving vids. My bucket list of planned trips grows with every of your videos I'm watching. Wish you always safe travels.
I live in Mammoth and many beautiful areas were left out of this (otherwise great) video. Our town is actually even nicer than this video suggests.
Love the beautiful and stunning scenery. Thanks for your awesome driving 🚗 tour.
Our pleasure! ❤️
I have been going to Mammoth Mountain for the last 20 years to ski...... i never knew they had forests and lakes like this in or near Mammoth Mountain. I will for sure visit these places this year. Thank you.
It’s definitely worth exploring the area, lots of wonderful spots around!
Ahhhh another gorgeous video. Thank you for the smile today

Beautiful and thanks for the HQ of your videos 💯🙏
Absolutely, thanks for watching!
WHAT a glory, to find these gems so close to beautiful metropolitan & chic downtown Mammoth Lakes, a little city in its own right, possibly more chic, than most Tahoe towns and cities.
Interesting how the skiers and their lifts have a bridge over the highway . . . I guess that's "Bottom-Mountain" access for The Resort, from the city? Then, at the Mid- & Main Lodge, a lift and Gondola cross over the highway there, too.
Devil's Postpile Pass is a very novel feature, geographically and terrain-wise for the Sierra Nevada. Proceeding South along the Crest. from West of Susanville down to the Yosemite area, the Crest takes a SHARP drop in elevation, to this pass, and on the Western side of this pass, you'll find yourself in a canyon (after dropping roughly 1.5K feet) of one of the forks of the San Joaquin River, and yet this fork's headwaters are yet another 40+or- Miles yet to go, until one reaches its Alpine Tundra origin! And it was interesting to see Limber and Whitebark Pines growing so low. That ridge saddle's so long, too, a massive feature like Tioga Pass. Then, past Mammoth Mountain, the Crest VAULTS right back up, to eventually meet the great climax at Mt. Whitney.
I find it hard to believe that you'd shot this piece in LATE September of last year. So GREEN, so late in the season, even the Aspens are yet to change. But, after the past winter's colossally savage and prolonged assault, it's understandable that the water tables in the soils would be so high. This verdure in normal post-winter seasons would begin to fizzle by late July. And think, just 6-8 months before you had shot this, it was declared a disaster zone, due to snow emergency. The road banks of snow were so tall, that they restricted a driver's view to a narrow slot straight ahead. And there were messes all over the place, come late Spring, as all of that snow FINALLY started to melt back some. I was cleaned up nicely though, almost as if that never happened.
We were hoping for more fall color when we were up in that area, but the green was nice nonetheless. It’s a really nice area and not terribly far from Yosemite with plenty of lodging.
Вот это красотища!!!
