As a not too young Malaysian, I thought I have been to all over the country but this video of yours has shown new facets and places of Malaysia that I didn't know. Thank you 🤗
Very cool road trip and you guys are the funnest parents rocking away in the car. Nice stops and thanks for sharing all the great places, we'll have to check out some of them ourselves.
Great places u stopped during your road trip. Enjoyed watching all of them. Been following you since u were 4 and now u are a family of 5. Can see your beautiful kids are growing well and knowledgeable, learning from the world. Looking forward to see more trips! ❤
you have very bright children.. they seems to know their malaysian food very well.. some food vlogger wouldn't even know what they are eating and your kids describe those Pandan base malay sweet dimsum perfectly..
Welcome to Muar!!!! Sunset is vieawable from the other side of the Tanjung. 2 mins drive. Where you were its alive at night. Kids would love it Could also picnic at Gunung Ledang.
@@KenshoQuest i read somewhere recently in a post, at putrajaya's MCMC (multimedia commission) they can help visitors to process digital nomad visa for extended stay. Maybe you can inquire.
Great video...how brave to drive in KL.😂 One-way so you must be staying in KL as your next long-term stop? I'm thinking of a Kuching Malaysia trip for CNY in January. Wife says it's too hot.🤣
Awesome! Thanks Darryl! Means a lot from you 🤪 And you are correct. We will be in KL for a short while. Kucing eh? MM2H!? Borneo is hot all the time 🥵 Have you heard of De Rentau? More our style ;) more on that soon!!
We all loved it! The staff was also very helpful and took time to explain how they care for the animals and reintroduce them into the wild. Highly recommended!
It was really great. The staff was super helpful and patient in explaining a lot about the turtles. For the kids, It's a great introduction to the importance of our ecosystem.
Thanks for this video. If I may: I had an International Driver’s License I got from AAA in the States. Regrettably, I no longer have it. Is this what you refer to when you spoke of an International Driver’s Permit? Thanks again.
Fun Fact: the word Wahdah is from Arabic meaning One, First Wow still so many place I haven't seen... as in everything shown in the video... 🤣🤣🤣 Onde2 is really Mochi with a palm sugar filling with coconut on the outside...
Hi guys, we are enjoying watching your Malaysian videos. I am trying to click on your Klook affiliate link, but when my VPN is on the website won't load, and when I turn it off it says the site isn't secure? (doesn't have the s after http). Just thought i'd let you know :)
Road conditions are excellent. We used Google Maps to navigate the entire time. Plenty of signs while on the big roads. It's harder to find street names on the smaller streets, but Google Maps helped us there.
@@KenshoQuest one reminded to be made , when driving try do not stop at road side ( when you stop n watch monkey ), small road got a lot heavy vehicle n single lane, cos their use this road n drive blindly, a lot accident happened
Hi, it all depends on where you will be traveling. For instance, if you are just visiting Kuala Lumpur then you don't need a car as both public transportation and Grab is widely available. Now if you want to go more to smaller towns then you still can usually take a bus but renting a car will make it easier and much faster to get around. For a road trip definitely rent. I hope this helps!
@Kensho Quest so I want to do 2month in Malaysia. I'm in Chicago, KL, would probably be the cheapest airport to fly in. My thought was to stay in KL for a week taking public transportation around then rent a car to see other parts of Malaysia. Is renting a car expensive and is there a time limit how long you can keep a car? Any suggestions?
We highly recommend wadah.my - the sponsor of this video. Their service has been great. You can rent for as long as you want. We rented consecutively for over 3 months. Very reasonably priced and always includes insurance. Also gas is super cheap in Malaysia. Oh, make sure you have an international driver permit to be on the safe side.
The amazingly beautiful scenery on a great sunny day in this video looks really fantastic. I enjoyed a variety of scenes in this video.😀👍👍
Thank you so much!

Should have taken the river cruise in Melaka at night instead of daytime....huge difference. More colorful at night seriously.
We've also done the Melaka River Cruise at night. Both are nice! We have young kids with early bedtimes.

I am curious which apartment your family stay in KL this time? Can you do an apartment tour? 🙏
If we use a rented car, should we have or register our own Autopass to enter Singapore?
Or the rental car company would help?
You need to contact the rental company first to be sure you will be allowed.

is it Malaysia is suitable for a regional hub to travel south east asia ( let say in 2 years ) slow travel whole of south east asia?
Yes, Malaysia is a wonderful hub for visiting South East Asia! Many Air Asia flights depart from KL.

Do the Malaysia Rental car company take US license or you need to have international license to rent a car?
An international driver's permit is required, in conjunction with a driver's license from your home country, so you need both.
