Lucky Inheritors; The First Photographs of Old World Lucknow, India (1850’s) by Felice Beato

  • Howdy ya’ll. Do you enjoy ancient tech? Lucknow was part of the historic region of Awadh, India, which was known as the granary of ancient India. Whoever controlled Lucknow was said to have controlled the Doab lands, a fertile plain which controlled India’s agriculture.
We’re told Lucknow successfully defended itself against multiple outside invasions, and was the center for most major Islamic dynasties in India. The architecture in Lucknow is said to reflect that. However, the historical region which Lucknow is part of was only first mentioned in the 16th century, with all earlier history being formulated from excavations and educated scholars. Take it all with a grain of salt.
Lucknow was involved in the Rebellion of 1857, where the People of India rose up against the British. It appears the photographs today, taken by Felix Beato in 1858 under orders of the British, may be some of the only surviving proofs of the absolute destruction which occurred on the most sacred and ancient structures in India.
These are considered to be the first photographs of Lucknow. Can we find any anomalies in this narrative? I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments down below.

There seems to be a heavy theme of “accommodation” in the size of the entrances/exits and height of the structures as to suggest larger people sharing [common space] possibly (democratically?) with much smaller stature peoples/beings. Also the towers as well as general majestic liberal (however) expertly built ‘sprawling’ layout is reminiscent of Angkor Wat.

    Love these old photos..
I like looking at how the ppl are dressed and what they are doing in these. Like in the one has a group of what looks like farmers and a huge structure but to the side of them it looks like a electric wire pole with w wire running to it? Is it a telphone wire or? Was there lines back in 1885?
And ive been looking at the old pictures of old buildings and such and it looks like they build on top of something already there and just kinda claim it. Or try to hide it in a weird way. Going back even farther then that (it seems like a constant thing thru out the years) the even older buildings seem like they have some sort of tera material thats like pored over top of some structures.. these are def fascinating and i love looking at them and to think that you see those humongous buildings and they show these ppl like i said.. sitting on horses and buggys and they built those? Almost hard to believe but 🤷 hats off to them i guess. I think its all inherited and egos wanted to claim it.
    Much love!
    Safe travels!
P.s. and notice in all these old pictures the sky is blurred or taken out for some reason? You never see the sun or moon

Jarid, Great video! A tip of the iceberg type of video. The video took me through time that I never knew because it was erased. You alluded to and hoisted a delightful theory, however without saying it, into the air that "something" must have happened. What?
Certain ancient structures were definitely, without doubt, PURPOSELY TARGETED. Why?
There is absolutely no doubt that something nefarious and destructive was planned and it happened. The destruction occurred around the world simultaneously right before everyone's eyes, in broad daylight but amazingly almost without notice. Is this possible? Sure, it happened!
Photographs were taken but not purposely to expose the destruction of technology, the destruction of beauty and magnificence but just to chronicle the general time frame. Clueless photography, but important none the less. It all seemed like whatever was happening was supposed to happen, but it really wasn't. Our history was being deleted like a software program. An incomprehensible impossibility to say but true and it did actually happen, the architectural magnificence and technology of that time, that era was being deleted from our eyes, minds and history! On purpose!
There was an evil reason, there was an evil and specifically designed purpose! I, personally, truly believe that the destruction was a coordinated and purposeful effort to DESTROY TARTARIA by those that continue to rule the world. The effort continues today in many ways. They wanted to destroy the PROOF by destroying the magnificent structures and the amazing technology of that era, especially the technology of the HOW these grand structures were put together and especially why they were purposely built that way. They also wanted the superior power technology to be erased. "They" wanted that time gone. "They" wanted our memories gone. And it happened as they wished, but somehow there are people today asking questions. There are people that somehow discovered a mass of time that has been lost and discovering that it wasn't necessarily lost, but erased!
You have no doubt noticed the SPIRES on many and most of the beautiful ancient structures that were used to transmit electrical energy and power. Those, that continue to rule the world desired and succeeded in ERASING what previously existed. They turned magnificence into rubble! The plan was in the ORDER by those that ruled the world and continue to do so and was and is, for their own benefit, to REWRITE HISTORY so to control and slowdown the advancement of humankind so that "they" would be beneficiaries of the cost for much less magnificent advancement now that previous advancement was invisible because it was erased. History was rewritten before our vary eyes and by omission of action "we" assisted in its happening. Our memories have been erased but some wish to BRING BACK the wonder of that world that once was. To recapture time if possible and what we have lost and perhaps to speed up through time to recapture technology, reason for the technology of that time and the wonder and magnificence that once was! Hopefully to emulate it!
I never knew Tartaria, but somehow when I saw it I felt part of it. I knew it and want it back!!!

Fortunately, there are people, historians, archaeologists and other learned individuals of various scientific disciplines who are putting the pieces of the puzzle back together, who are discovering remnants around the world. Who are, in fact uncovering the erased technology! The purposeful destruction is worldwide. In California, there are historic photographs that exist from all quadrants of the state and are unedited and untouched that chronicle the purposeful and targeted destruction of specifically chosen wondrous and magnificent structures of an era that were purposely destroyed, erased while other structures were left alone!

It strikes me that it may related to legal title of ownership and the inheritors could not for whatever reason - get legal title to some structures and so they cleared them out - removing the ownership issue by destruction and then building onto that land with new ownership - the charitable alternative is that some buildings were just way too damaged by the cataclysm and the puny inheritors just could not fathom repairing them - and we do see that even today with magnificent but very broken cars or houses or giant machines that are beyond repair

Something happened to these amazing builders and people, and their beautiful world was left empty of life until life started again or planted there probably by the real evil came along, the butchers of Britain to destroy everything of such beauty with tge rest of the colonial maniacs. There is no way modern humans ancestors built anything of such beauty that's for, especially not with horse and cart or wood mallet and copper chisel 😢😢😢Sad us humans can't tell the truth.😢

The architecture of Lucknow illustrates early monuments to the once powerful ruling class Muslim rule way before the British tried to take over . There's destruction of Muslim & Hindu conflict reflected in the damaged buttresses & towers , the palaces tell us the narrative .

11:31 top of the arch, there is a box with a leafy ribbon that hangs from point to point. I notice that on many structures.. is there any significance to that? I think there are even crowns with those leaves too, it's has to symbolize something. Biblically it says in Revelation 22:2 (KJV) "the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations"
Maybe that's why it's seen so much.

Im confused because at 1 min in it is acting like the history of India was not known and had to be fabricated....Do they mean that the english did not want to read the vast amount of historical literature of India?
The history of lucknow did not need to be fabricated, it already existed. It would be like if Japan came to america tomorrow and just decided not to listen to our story about our constitution, revolution, etc and just made up their own story bc they dont want to learn english.
India has its own history and has had no timeline alterations or weird things like that....

Revelation 20:7 "Now as soon as the 1,000 years have ended, Satan will be released from his prison, 8 and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Maʹgog, to gather them together for the war."

When narrating video about British colonialism Jarid you might want to research and script incorporate the native British conception of themselves within the a context of Western Christianity. The British peoples believed and the CE vicars preached to congregations on the "burden" placed on the British by their Christian duties and godly fate. In addition, many of the British RC priests also preached submission to the duties of empire towards the natives of the colonies in moving the natives to submission to the Christian ideal (from a certain point of view) Cheers

You refuse to acknowledge the fact that Lucknow endured severe artillery damage during its siege by not the English- but by the mutineers.
If you wish to call them freedom fighters based on today's parlance by all means do so. The mutineers had various agenda- a democratic united India was not one of them. Some wished to restore the Mughal Sultanate with its avowed goal of abolishing Hindutva. Others wanted to restore the privileges of local grandees i.e. The Rani of Jhansi while still others accused the Brits of coating newly issued cartridges with animal fat and requiring the sepoys to bite them off- threatening to terminate the pensions of disobedient senior ranks while inflaming passions as a result.

You can pick any random small town in India and can find at least one ancient structure that is standing for thousands of years.

Look, the "religious structures" were where the rebels were hiding, just as we see today in places held by believers in that same religion.

Interestingly, some of the structures shown were built by the British.
Thank God the British helped lead India out of their terribly dark past.

At 5:37, the Mosque. The size, and detail of construction, along with the engineering involved to build such a structure is mystifying. Looking at the Indian people, scrawny, dirty, half starved, and not as bright as would need to be, to construct such a structure. I don`t know, am I missing something? I just don`t see how the Indian People could produce such buildings. They look like they can barely survive from day to day much less do the kind of construction required for such buildings. Thanks, Jarid for these fantastic photographs and the trouble of putting them together to make a video for RUclips.

These photographs were taken during the time of the British rule. Famines were rampant due to British policies. More than 10 million people died due to large scales famines at the time. These were built during prosperous times when people weren't starving and times of the old kings and empires when people weren't scrawny and starved. If its Hindu temples it was most probably built before the Mughal empire. If it's mosques then those were probably built during the Mughal empire. I don't know what you're trying to imply. These structures were built hundreds of years prior to when these photos were taken.
