- I was given yet ANOTHER exclusive sneak peak into Deltatraveler, this time Section 3! This section is based off the popular AU Underfell, specifically the game creator's take on it, GG!Underfell.

i love how they used their own take on underfell, deltatraveler has the charm that most fangames dont really have and I love the fact that normal sans is basically just..there.

oh wow this was made in unity I thought it was GameMaker. I'm currently making an Unreal Engine deltarune fangame
I'm seriously confused as to why people hate Unity, most of my favorite games (Hollow Knight comes to mind) were made in Unity. Is there an actual reason? Is it just some sort of internet meme?

Though it's probably because it's the most commonly used engine and a lot of bad games are made with it (Good games are made with it too. But bad games are usually also made with it)

most unity games chug balls.
like genshin impact, it's devs don't optimize anything to catch a botw-esque feeling, though i'm pretty sure even botw culls a lot of stuff so the hardware doesn't shit itself.
but there are some good unity games. like deltatraveler, unitale, createyourfrisk, maybe smth like dani's games, muck, karlson2d, milkman karlson. a lot of them are 2d games. mostly because i can't think of too many good examples off the top of my head
i would say unity games chug balls because unity is confusing as fuck but i come from a world where you have to do everything yourself(haxeflixel, love2d, etc), so i'm a bit biased. not saying that you don't have to do everything yourself in unity, but unity has like a live preview and stuff and i hate it because it makes me think way too much. also objects in unity, why the hell would i want to configure variables using a windows-esque properties panel??? a lot of the same stuff probably applies to godot too, since it's really capturing that unity feel of being confusing as fuckl.

I love how Sans Undertale is just with you for side commentary. “Wow I have a evil twin. This is just like hit RUclips series Underfell or something”.
Although I also like how he’s portrayed in the obliteration route as being Suspicious of the player, alluding to what’s going on and raising his prices, without actually calling us out. I wonder how the fangame will handle Sans in that route without it being Undertale geno but again!
I wouldn't mind another Sans fight in that bridge at the end of the Core in that case

I recently realized since Sans uses the grey doors to follow the Deltawarriors this would mean he saw the corpses of all of the Earthbound enemies along with seeing Ness and Paula's corpses in obliteration

I've never really cared for Underfell or anything like it but I have to admit, this Section 3 preview did a good job of at least making me interested in this specific version of Underfell and I think thats pretty commendable on its own

This fangame is one of the best Deltarune/Undertale fangames ever and I'm so happy to see more of it!
I'd even call it the best fangame
I really hope that we can see all of the rest that's planned for it, even if there's a non zero chance that this section could be the last that Sarah will release.

I really appreciate this version of underfell. The original was far too edgy for me to get into or take seriously. In this the characters still feel like themselves while still being more aggressive and still different enough from their original counter parts. Props to the creator.

I'm glad they remade their Underfell series in Delta traveler, and that they actually made it playable !
I like this version of Underfell Papyrus, he reminds me a lot of The Riddler. I mean, there's always the option of just taking Batman head-on with some sort of scheme that he can never predict, but it's a matter of narcissism, or, in UF Papyrus' case, the challenge.

I still love how Underfell manages to give you normal Undertale vibes but with some spice
one thing this game does that most undertale/deltarune fan creations does is getting the characters personalities right, it feels like actual ut/dr dialogue

0:10 I like how after beating Section 2 (In Pacifist/Neutral I assume) Ness and Paula will be added to the save file's Continue screen like how when you befriend a main character in Undertale they also get added to the Continue screen tho I'm pretty sure Sans in Deltatraveler also appeared on the save screen once you save during Section 2

I'm thinking it could either be Flippy or Mickey (if RynoGG is using the original Disney version as a basis)
There's also the question of who the Neutral/Pacifist boss would be. I'm gonna say it's one of the 4 Cog bosses. (VP, CFO, CJ, CEO) The Chairman could be a possibility as well, but they never revealed his official design, so that's also somewhat unlikely.
"Noelle's happiness increased" im gonna be real, this made me immediately think of Computer Virus from Kirby
So this means that the public version is coming out VERY soon! To say that im hyped is an understatment.

Section 3 is 75% Done and V3 as a whole is 60% done, so it'll probably be released months later

While an Undertale AU is the last thing I would've expected in a game about hopping through games, given the tons of RPGs you could use (including my boi Chrono Trigger which is not gonna be here), I probably should've expected it since RynoGG is the creator lol. Even so, it's also expertly done because RynoGG's the creator lol, so I'm quite excited to see the changes and how this section progress the story!

I understand now why toriel referred to the royal scientist as "he", she's been in the ruins for so long with no contact with the rest of the underground, she has no fucking clue that the old scientist was replaced, for all she knew, it was still gaster.
I really like how everyone is mostly the same in this version of Underfell, it’s like if you took Undertale and added a dash or hot sauce or something.

I'm so excited for this, but unfortunately I just can't watch this until I have the game for myself. Going blind into the first two parts of Deltatraveler was a great experience and I need to keep it up for the next part

Fun fact: In the earlier episodes of GG!Underfell, when Icecap was ignored twice (or one XIgnore) it would instead say "LOOK AT MY FUCKING HAT!!!!!" and I'm slightly disappointed that it was changed but also it makes sense.

Sounds like a higher pitched skeletor to me.
I just realized something. So, sans and papyrus have cracks on their skulls. Sans’ is on the right and goes down to his smile, while papyrus’ goes up and on the left. What does gaster have? Cracks that are on both eyes. The left one going up, while the right one goes down to his smile. I swear the deltatraveler devs are either masterminds, or this is just a coincidence.
I mean GG!UF Sans has Gasters theme slowed down as his theme, this is 100% intentional.
