one small detail i really loved about this section of the route was that Susie still seemed to care about Kris and their safety despite all the bad things that they had done so far, I really love Kris and Susie's friendship and this game has been greatly providing me with the content i need

Dang, this is such an AMAZING take on the 'Genocide' Route of Undertale; Since Frisk was just an emotionless being guided by the player, Deltarune and Deltatraveler show how committing mass murder of a population truly affects those who go down that path as well as forcing their friends into it. You can relate this to reality big-time!
To the people confused at why Susie is a bit out of character in terms of the whole "we just killed a village of people and two children" mindset (at least conpared to Noelle.) Its been said that each individual party member's LV is not the LV shown in the stats menu, its ours. Kris and Susie's LV is most likely synced at 13 since they've been together this whole time. (unless XP is gained based on who gets the kill but that is a WHOLE different bag of worms i dont even wanna get into) Since Noelle only joined after section 1, hers is significantly lower (dont know mow much lower since i dont have the time to calculate it all) All of this to say: Susie could be slowly losing touch with her empathy like Kris (something Susie herself confirms after killing Mondo Mole) and is probably trying to keep herself sane by acting like nothing is wrong. I could be totally off but thats just my thoughts.

No, that was the scripted end of the section I was given. On stream, I did use the Punch Card to get there and was allowed to show one cutscene, but the developer asked kindly for me to not go past that.

It wouldn't surprise me if Noelle were to become our most powerful/obedient ally in obliteration route later on. Normally the first powerful character that contests the main protagonist's decisions ultimately become veeery fucked up and end up as the MP's right hand, and the most compliant ally. While it would be very cruel to see Noelle as a broken murder weapon, having constant mental breakdowns yet for some reason still following Kris' voice, it would add a very interesting taste and impact to the obliteration route as a whole. Having the player slowly getting more and more control over the allies, shaping them and obliterating who they used to be, seems really fitting to the premise of this route. This also surely opens great possibilities for the final conclusion of obliteration. I wonder what kind of wonders the team have in their sleeves to surprise us all~
I dunno. The fact that she separated from Kris and, as Susie said, doesn't want to be around them, makes it seem like she's going resistance mode. I feel like she'll catch up to Kris later, knowing Kris has continued killing, and she'll attack them herself to put an end to it. Or if it would be truly a miracle, maybe she has a heel-face turn, returns to recognizing the horror of her actions and regains some sanity, and fights Kris as her old self, just super angry, but no longer dark and insane. But I don't know if we can really expect something that far-fetched.

Then you go out of your way to kill them all and it carries some shock. In a way, Noelle and Susie's reactions are reminiscent of coping with the first time of doing a merciless run. Though, it'd be worse for them since they both are monsters themselves, and it ain't a game to them and likely aren't able to reset like we can. In short: it's such an interesting concept Deltatravelers dive into. Funny how what was basically a fangame birthed from a meme, became something pretty high effort.

@@RAR-bs5hy I know you can encounter chilldrake. But I had no idea that one of the flavour texts was the chilldrake wonders where snowy went. Since usually I encounter chilldrake with multiple enemies and since their attacks are usually the hardest to deal with with ice cap. I kill chilldrake first since icecaps attacks are easier to handle. Then I kill jerry after because killing jerry alone is easier than with other enemies.

i have a tip for genocide ( especially paula and ness fight ) you know how sometimes susie or noelle cant bring themselves to do anything? well, you can actually tell when they will refuse to fight by looking at their portraits when choosing their actions i usually would defend so i can use a tp attack when they can attack
you can make them use a healing item on a turn they're supposed to refuse on, or for noelle, you can make her use heal prayer or a healing item and it would act like normal

By far one of the coolest fan games I seen of undertale. Every character is themselves and I find it really cool that the deltarune characters are going through earthbound and underfell. Can’t wait for the next section!
Yeah, I can't wait for the next section too, mainly because it will have different gameplay and art style before everything's switched back to UT/DR gameplay/art style because of LightClear.
Noelle is probably done with Kris’s shit, or more specifically, YOURS. Susie actually nearly killed Kris at the start of Chapter 1. Noelle wasn’t even sure about fighting anyone in Chapter 2. She was mentally OBLITERATED after the obliteration route in parts 1 & 2. She already had gone through a hard time in the past with her dad in the hospital and Dess… well, we don’t know what happened to her exactly, she just went missing. This ended with Noelle despising Kris probably. Wouldn’t be surprised if Noelle was the Chapter 3 Obliteration boss for this game.
Honestly looking forward to doing a neutral playthrough of this cuz just like section 1 you probably can still kill out of obliteration so i wonder if noelle will still react like this to snowy
Well in Pacifist/Neutral Noelle knows she and her friends are in another world, so maybe her reaction to killing Snowy in Pacifist/Neutral would be a lot tamer than her reaction to killing Snowy in Obliteration.

My prediction is that in this section we won't LoVe up once since we're in a solo run but in section 4 (the LTTP section). it seems like we'll spend most of the section's time with noelle so we could probably try to convice noelle back to our side "proceed" style. Another thing: when say was talking about what THEY'VE done to me it's either the player for unknown reasons or RYNOGG for abandoning the GG!FELL Series (sorta).

I thought about this conclusion since It couldn't have been the delta warriors as susie states in of the dialogues after the letter scene (susie's statement are usually predictions of the future or what could've happened in a specific situation for example when she said that coil snake could've died in an aborted obliteration route). So knowing that the delta warriors did nothing to sans I immediately started thinking outside the Deltatraveller Universe and I remebered that RYNOGG postponed his original GG!Underfell series for deltatraveller. But there was another possibility in my eyes: it's possible that the "they" in sans's message was reffering to the player , though I'm not sure what the player did to Sans GG!UF specifically.

I think the part where the first snowdrake in the dark forest , you and Susie will fight it without noelle in the full version, and i think it will be similar to when you use only iceshock with noelle with the 2 cultists after Paula cutscene. Honestly, I normally love Deltatraveler's characterization, but Susie felt ooc here. She felt really uncaring of Noelle's problems and way too calm about Kris. Her grabbing Kris after the player makes them kill the coil snake was a really impactful scene to me, and to have Susie's anger and frustration to just...disappear feels wrong. I always thought that after Ness and Paula's death she'd become frustrated and resigned, but definitely not so...not angry at Kris? Especially because she never gets an explanation for why Kris is acting like this. Susie and Kris's friendship is strong, yes, but even Susie has her limits. In fact, Susie does actually care about Noelle so it makes her feel even more ooc because Susie doesn't even acknowledge how devastated Noelle seems to be at all of this. I get "pretending like nothing is wrong" is a way to react to the scenario, but I don't think that's done well here. At least, if you're gonna go with that, make her act like she doesn't care and have her use her Ch1 sprites at all times to show how much she's hiding and repressing here for the sake of just getting through this. Noelle's reaction feels realistic, though.

By far one of the coolest fan games I seen of undertale. Every character is themselves and I find it really cool that the deltarune characters are going through earthbound and underfell. Can’t wait for the next section!
Yeah, I can't wait for the next section too, mainly because it will have different gameplay and art style before everything's switched back to UT/DR gameplay/art style because of LightClear.

Noelle is probably done with Kris’s shit, or more specifically, YOURS. Susie actually nearly killed Kris at the start of Chapter 1. Noelle wasn’t even sure about fighting anyone in Chapter 2. She was mentally OBLITERATED after the obliteration route in parts 1 & 2. She already had gone through a hard time in the past with her dad in the hospital and Dess… well, we don’t know what happened to her exactly, she just went missing. This ended with Noelle despising Kris probably. Wouldn’t be surprised if Noelle was the Chapter 3 Obliteration boss for this game.
Noelle is on a streak yet again.
this is definitially the section most suited to an obliteration route.

Well in Pacifist/Neutral Noelle knows she and her friends are in another world, so maybe her reaction to killing Snowy in Pacifist/Neutral would be a lot tamer than her reaction to killing Snowy in Obliteration.

My prediction is that in this section we won't LoVe up once since we're in a solo run but in section 4 (the LTTP section). it seems like we'll spend most of the section's time with noelle so we could probably try to convice noelle back to our side "proceed" style.
Another thing: when say was talking about what THEY'VE done to me it's either the player for unknown reasons or RYNOGG for abandoning the GG!FELL Series (sorta).

@@BoredomIncarnate16 about the sans thing. There wasn't much evidence to begin with just my speculation. I thought about this conclusion since It couldn't have been the delta warriors as susie states in of the dialogues after the letter scene (susie's statement are usually predictions of the future or what could've happened in a specific situation for example when she said that coil snake could've died in an aborted obliteration route). So knowing that the delta warriors did nothing to sans I immediately started thinking outside the Deltatraveller Universe and I remebered that RYNOGG postponed his original GG!Underfell series for deltatraveller. But there was another possibility in my eyes: it's possible that the "they" in sans's message was reffering to the player , though I'm not sure what the player did to Sans GG!UF specifically.

With this time, Susie using only Rude Buster in that battle that will be in the full version

Honestly, I normally love Deltatraveler's characterization, but Susie felt ooc here. She felt really uncaring of Noelle's problems and way too calm about Kris. Her grabbing Kris after the player makes them kill the coil snake was a really impactful scene to me, and to have Susie's anger and frustration to just...disappear feels wrong. I always thought that after Ness and Paula's death she'd become frustrated and resigned, but definitely not so...not angry at Kris? Especially because she never gets an explanation for why Kris is acting like this. Susie and Kris's friendship is strong, yes, but even Susie has her limits. In fact, Susie does actually care about Noelle so it makes her feel even more ooc because Susie doesn't even acknowledge how devastated Noelle seems to be at all of this. I get "pretending like nothing is wrong" is a way to react to the scenario, but I don't think that's done well here. At least, if you're gonna go with that, make her act like she doesn't care and have her use her Ch1 sprites at all times to show how much she's hiding and repressing here for the sake of just getting through this.
Noelle's reaction feels realistic, though.
I think LV numbs emotions, so maybe that's why Susie isn't that frustrated? idk
