Top-20 maybe! Not best, not by a long shot... DDL(even retired), Di Caprio, Christian Bale, Dafoe, Joaquin Phoenix, Denzel, Sean Penn, Gary Oldman, Spacey(yes i know he is scum, but that doesn't make him less of an actor) are definitely above him! I don't even put names like De Niro, Nicholson, Pacino, Pitt, Hanks, Caine, Hopkins, Freeman, Norton, Kingsley etc whose best roles were in the 20th. And then you got guys like Fassbender, Mc Avoy, Servillo, Crowe, Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Depp, Ed Harris, Bardem, RDJr, Fiennes, Matthew McConaughey and at least 10 more, who are arguably in the same league, if not better (at least some of them).

I can't say he is that much above the rest, but he definitely belongs in the upper ceiling. Very few ever are/were in his league. In my opinion, at least.

Supposedly Hardy’s acting in Locke was so good that when Spielberg watched it he personally called him to ask how he managed to pull it off.

The film Capone received bad reviews from critics. They criticized the weak script, but praised Hardy's performance. Therefore, I decided to watch the film on the road, moving on a bus from one city to another. I watched it on the phone. I thought if I liked it, I’d watch it on the big TV screen. I was shocked by Tom's performance. I couldn't watch the movie on TV. I was afraid to look him in the eyes. Capone understood everything that his entourage did to him. How they manipulate him. He understood everything. And Tom showed it with his eyes. All the pain this man felt. I was scared to look into his eyes. Tom's game is SHOCK!!! 🔥👏👍💕

If Hardy is in the movie then I will go to see it. I noticed he didn’t play the part of the movie where he was playing Mad Max. I guess he had a bad experience with Charlese Theron, and she wanted him to bow down to her as a fan. Tom didn’t play the game that she wanted him to do. He is the best in every movie he does. I pray for him and his family to be blessed and safe. He’s so awesome and I can’t get enough of him. ❤

even if his mimic is really communicative, I feel like his vocal acting doesn't convince me that much. He sounds pretty much the same and I'm saying this not without some level of frustration, because I like the guy and his character.
