My brother just recently spent time at stl children's hospital and seeing how much the nurses helped him really moved me, it really inspired me to seriously consider nursing as a career

And your videos really help me get a better understanding about my future so thank you so much!! I have a few questions for you, 1. Did you do 4 years to get your bachelors? 2. Can you go straight into nursing school or do you need to get your bachelors degree before practicing? 3. What kind of classes did you take in grade 11 and 12 to prepare for this path? Do uk nurses have to do the nclex or is that just for us. If the don't, do they have to do a test or just be registered with the nurse and midwifery council (nmc)

What kind of white long sleeve do you wear under your scrubs? I have the same scrub top and find it rather uncomfortable!!

After you became an RN, how did you get to choose what job u did in a hospital? In nursing school, did you take a pediatric degree or how did you get a job in pediatrics when you learnt everything at med school not just peds?

Sylvia Foo Depends on the school. The longest break I ever got in nursing school was 3 weeks. But some programs give you summers off.
my practicum is five weeks long full time, if I had to do night shift along with classes I would die 😭😂

Eve Fadahunsi She’s precepting, it’s part of the program. She’s working alongside a licensed nurse but she’s not getting paid. It’s part of her education.

I think caffeine's half life is 6 hours, so drinking it early in a 12 hour shift would treat you better for sleep :)
