Hi Devi Last year the RCP mentioned that they were relaxing the 7 year rule as they were aware of the delays in PACES examination because of COVID. The best way to find out is to email RCP and explain your situation. I am sure you will find a slot soon as many of my subscribers have managed to get a PACES slot in India this year. I would suggest taking the exam in India; attempt in UK only if you manage to get NHS experience either through MTI or clinical attachments. All the best Aparajita

Can you please tell me if preparation of plab 1 helps in preparation for mrcp part 1, if yes then how much.. or are these preparation completely different..
Extremely clear presentation. However I v one doubt. The date of PMQ is the date of publication of final MBBS examination. Now when I wd send the attested copy of PMQ , to RCP for verification wd it be the MBBS degree awarded by West Bengal Health University or the photocopy of Final MBBS result? Because the date given in MBBS degree certificate is different from that of date of publication of final MBBS result. Again I ve notaried photocopy of my MBBS degree by a notary law officer in Kolkata. Would it be sufficient to send as a document for PMQ verification during Part 1 exam slot booking?
@@abheekdas7595 see the key bit is that they want to see whether there has been a year since you have passed your exam. As long as you are applying after getting your degree , this should not matter. Hi Nikita Dermatology in the UK is a superspeciality degree to be pursued after completing Medicine training. You have two options. Either complete all parts of MRCP, work in a non-training post in Dermatology and Medicine and acquire the competencies and then apply for Dermatology after or do PLAB, complete IMT training, and then build your CV catered to the specifications for Dermatology. In the UK, Derma is pretty competitive so I would strongly recommend the second route.

Mam can you please inform me, approximately how much time required to complete total MRCP journey for a mediocre student? Is it difficult to get a PG training post in uk after completing MRCP outside uk?
Niamat Total MRCP journey would roughly take you two to 3 years deoending on your preparation , commitment to exams and exam slot availabilty. For IMT training (similar to MD),you don't need full MRCP but MRCP is must for ST training ( which is equivalent to DM). You would need to have substantial clinical, research and leadership experience to get into training; all these are achievable with the right mentorship and planning.

Can i get sittinng in mrcp 1 exam with attested provisional MBBS certificate of my university. Is this ok or i need to original certificate from university?
You need to email a scanned copy of the attested full degree certificate. Provisional is not accepted.
Hi mam, I have completed my internship in April 2022 , am I eligible to apply for mrcp 1....or should I need another year of clinical experience to apply?
HI Raashica
You are eligible to apply for MRCP once you have completed your internship.
Hello, i have completed my MD Internal Medicine...in order to give MRCP 1 do i need to attest only MBBS transcript or both MD and MBBS as my PMQ by simply Notarise the document. Thanks in advance.
Hi
This is your MBBS degree certificate. PMQ is not the MD degree.
Hello ma'am, you mentioned one should appear in paces after 36 months, is that from part I pass or from completion of graduation?
Hi Prosenjit
This should be after graduation.
Thank you! Mam

Hello dr aparajitha..I have completed md general medicine 3years back.can I give Marco exam now..and what difference would it make as compared to fresher
Hi
I didn't quite understand your question.
Hi Maam, I have a query. I passed my Final MBBS exam on May 24,2022 and started internship. However i received my MBBS degree on January 17,2023. Which date i need to write on PMQ to be eligible for MRCP part 1 October 2023 attempt? If i write May 24,2022, then what document should i sent as my PMQ ?my final year DMC or MBBS degree? As date on degree is January 17,2023 which doesnt make me eligible for Oct attempt
Hi
You need to send your MBBS degree certificate.
Hi mam , had the same doubt . Just to clarify, In that case we enter the PMQ date as the date of passing final year MBBS and we send the MBBS degree certificate which has a much later date as the PMQ ?
Is it necessary (or does it benefit) to do MRCP 1,2, and PACES after passing PLAB 1and 2 and getting GMC registration and license.
If you pass PLAB, you can apply for GMC registration even without MRCP.
Ma'am is it possible if I directly give mrcp after completing mbbs in India as I want to persue dermatology in the UK or do I need to go through plab path?
Like will I get an equal chance as the plab people?
Hi Vishruti
For dermatology in the UK you have to undergo medicine training first, and complete MRCP. Following this you have to apply for speciality training in dermatology.
@@AceurMRCP so i go through PLAB route do my training and then give the MRCP? is it possible?
Hi Ma'am,does working in PSU( government) can be shown as clinical experience of 3 years if service is 3 years
If this was in a Hospital or clinic then definitely.
hello Ma'am. thank you for such a clear video. I just have one question; I have completed my Mbbs and done with internship I also have 2 years post internship experience in a clinic as GP and have worked in several Private hospitals. if I wish to pursue MRCP. can I take all 3 steps, or do I need 2 years' experience in Internal medicine as M.O or trainee?
also, if I do 2 years MCPS training in any medicine allied program such as Pulmonology can would it count as 2-year experience?
Hi Aayan
As soon as a candidate finishes internship, they are eligible for MRCP .With your clinical experience you can most definitely attempt the exam.

Hi ,
Is this for MRCP ?
Hello mam , is it mandatory to pass MRCP-2 after passing MRCP-1 and PACES?
Hi Praveen
You can do PACES first after Part1.
Hello mam, nice and clear explanation.
I have a doubt, I have completed my MD Biochemistry. How can I get job in UK ? After passing MRCP , will I be able to opt for same specialisation there ?
Hi Madhu
You would have to look for careers in metabolic medicine or chemical pathology. For MRCP, you would need to have substantial experience in clinical medicine.
Hello Madam are we eligible to work in UK( get GMC registration) after passing MRCP part 1 or do we have to complete whole exam for that.
Hello Shanaka
You may be able to work in the UK through the MTI pathway]
Please see this video for all the details

Could you tell me please ,if you are a specialist in your country and come to live in the uk what's exam do you need to take?because I don't really know what to do.(Iam a Neurologist).
Hi Rayan
If you are already a specialist, the best pathway would be MRCP. Once GMC registration is complete you can work as a SAS or locum consultant.

Madam,as per the recent video tutorial regarding application for PACES,there is a need for clinical supervisor or a senior Doctor who supports my candidature for PACES in writing. What should I do if I have no such person in my contact?

Are you currently working in any hospital? The clinical supervisor could be your head of the department or any senior colleague or consultant whom you are currently working with.

Ma'am I'm 3rd year MBBS student and want to do speciality training in medicine from UK , but the PLAB option seems to be a problem in terms of time line as it takes too much of time and as I don't want to settle in US it seems to be an eztra baggage over family, So is it practical that I directly apply for MRCP and while the time pick up JRship at some good medical College in India
Hi
Please watch my video on PLAB vs MCRP to know about this in details.
Hello mam ! Writing mrcp from india completing all 3 exam of mrcp from india, is it easy to get specialty training or hard to get mam, like cardiology or nephrology???
Hi Mehtab
Entering speciality training like cardio . nehpro etc is quite competitive but if you work hard you will definitely be able to do this. It is essential to get NHS experience before ST training so it would be a good idea to work in the NHS in a non training job before ST application. All the best
Nice clear voice

Is the questions asked different as they ask in neet pg...i mean do we have to study separately for mrcp?
Yes, the question pattern is quite different but NEET PG preparation will aid in your MRCP study revision.

So can u elaborate about this?if I have my personal clinic in my town or I have govt job in my country,so would this clinical experience would b counted or we would have to get experience by doing training in UK?

Yes, this is definitely counted as clinical experience.
Is that possible to take MRCP WITHOUT PLAP?
CAN I PROCEED TO RESIDENCY DIRECTLY FROM MRCP PASS?
Hi, yes you can do MRCP without PLAB.
Once you pass MRCP you would be able to apply for senior SHO or junior registrar level posts depending on your clinical experience,

Last few year I m not able to get slot due COVID
I m already 7 th year since part 1
Can we get extended period for that
How can we ask for that
What ur advice one should apply to indian centre or uk for better success
Thanks
Hi Devi
Last year the RCP mentioned that they were relaxing the 7 year rule as they were aware of the delays in PACES examination because of COVID.
All the best

Hi
I will be making a video on MRCP vs PLAB soon. Please keep watching this space..
Yes, notary certified degree certificate is acceptable. The date is fine.
@@AceurMRCP I wd give result date or date given in MBBS certificate for the slot which is asking for date of issue of PMQ ?
@@abheekdas7595 see the key bit is that they want to see whether there has been a year since you have passed your exam.
As long as you are applying after getting your degree , this should not matter.
For practical purposes this should be the date you passed your exam.
It is quite common to get stuck on this point but this is not very important.

I want to do PG from uk in derma. I have seen so many videos but they guide till FY2 step. M really confused how to opt for pg derma after fy2. Please guide.
Hi Nikita
Dermatology in the UK is a superspeciality degree to be pursued after completing Medicine training.

Hi
Exam fees are mentioned in the video. For theory exam the main resources that you need to get is a question bank subscription, either Passmedicine or Pastest. The cost depends on the duration on your subscription, check their individual websites. For PACES , course fees are roughly 1400 GBP.
Hi ma’am. I have a question regarding attestation of my PMQ. I am an FMG passed out from Bangladesh. My PMQ is already attested by the Indian Embassy in Bangladesh as well as many ministries of that country. Do I still have to get my PMQ attested? If yes, from whom? Thanks in advance!

This video gives you a detailed list of authorites eligible to attest the PMQ.
Mam can you please inform me, approximately how much time required to complete total MRCP journey for a mediocre student?
Is it difficult to get a PG training post in uk after completing MRCP outside uk?
Niamat
Total MRCP journey would roughly take you two to 3 years deoending on your preparation , commitment to exams and exam slot availabilty.
For IMT training (similar to MD),you don't need full MRCP but MRCP is must for ST training ( which is equivalent to DM). You would need to have substantial clinical, research and leadership experience to get into training; all these are achievable with the right mentorship and planning.
