  • A forgotten NBA Finals performance
Rashard Lewis catches fire in the 2nd quarter, scoring 18 of his 20 first half points. Lewis does it all this game, 34, 11 boards, and dishing out a Magic high 7 assists. Rashard was really all that kept Orlando in this game at halftime, as noted by the halftime crew for ESPN, as no one else could buy a bucket.
This game falls into the "oh well, your team didn't win" category, unfortunately. This is still quite the performance in an NBA Finals game.

Nobody overrates or underrates him. But we can all admit he was pretty good and would be even better today.

Prime Lewis is so forgotten about. All star selection and Magic had a subtle mini Big 3 at the time with Dwight, Lewis and Nelson

@@Miltonman100nope, he was actually Orlando's best performer. Their most efficient player by far (60.3% TS), created tons of scoring opportunities for his teammates and led them in points per game as well. The fact you even thought of naming Hedo as one of the underperformers shows your ignorance. Dwight had a stacked team, he was simply not much of an offensive threat. Rudy Gobert with better finishing, that's where it ends.

Wild seeing how poorly used JJ is in this compared to how he was used in LA and Philly. Game totally changed in less than 10 years

He was putting up 3s there in fact that’s what the magic was known for lol Dwight how 3 shooters everywhere else and jj was on the bench because he was young in the beginning and then the next year he wasn’t starting over Vince Carter (this was the team that started the trend of 3s)
