Starfield is the first new universe in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.
In the year 2330, humanity has ventured beyond our solar system, settling new planets, and living as a spacefaring people. You will join Constellation - the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy - and navigate the vast expanse of space in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.
In Starfield the most important story is the one you tell with your character. Start your journey by customizing your appearance and deciding your Background and Traits. Venture through the stars and explore more than 1000 planets. Navigate bustling cities, explore dangerous bases, and traverse wild landscapes. Meet and recruit a memorable cast of characters, join in the adventures of various factions, and embark on quests across the Settled Systems. A new story or experience is always waiting to be discovered.
Pilot and command the ship of your dreams. Personalize the look of your ship, modify critical systems including weapons and shields, and assign crew members to provide unique bonuses. In deep space you will engage in high-stakes dogfights, encounter random missions, dock at star stations, and even board and commandeer enemy ships to add to your collection.
Explore planets and discover the fauna, flora, and resources needed to craft everything from medicine and food to equipment and weapons. Build outposts and hire a crew to passively extract materials and establish cargo links to transfer resources between them. Invest these raw materials into research projects to unlock unique crafting recipes.
Space can be a dangerous place. A refined combat system gives you the tools to deal with any situation. Whether you prefer long-range rifles, laser weapons, or demolitions, each weapon type can be modified to complement your playstyle. Zero G environments add a chaotic spectacle to combat, while boost packs give players freedom to maneuver like never before.

I completed the story as two separate characters, and I'm on NG+3 exploring the Galaxy scanning planets. I know this stream is old, but I was looking for footage to watch of first-timers playing because I loved playing this blind, and like seeing how others took to it.
I played 7 PM to 7 in the morning.
Didn't get anywhere for levels, but had fun and did get around 8 artifacts.

I was kinda bummed when the npcs came out of their space house with no space suits and seemed fine, that woulda been cool if they had change or something. Game looks sick though! I don't know if I woulda noticed it without cowboy bringing the idea up

and to all those people that hate on a game before we actually get warmed up to it, WHY? Just why? Cowboy literally has said the same thing for new games to people who have disliked them for about 3 to 5 years now. Almost everytime he literally word for word tells them the same thing. If you don't like the game then dont watch the content. It's literally that simple. But for me, Cowboy's playthrough content and content in general is top tier. There is a reason he has 1.36 million followers on youtube. We love you Cowboy. Best to do it imo.

I know that people love to hate on Bethesda these days, but their games have always felt like comfort food games to me. They're like a warm blanket. If you don't like dialog heavy games, you probably won't like their rpg's. If you do, the lore is fun to dig into and the gameplay in Starfield feels pretty good so far. Sure, it's not COD, but gun play that tight would make a lot of the RPG mechanics meaningless

Anyone know what difficulty he’s on? His loot is much better than what’s dropping for me. Especially that legendary suit around the 2:00:00 mark! I need that badly.
Kill with higher tear weapons you get also crimson fleet gives a legendary pistol like the 2nd mission in and killing things with that increases chance

I ended up switching to very hard and still seems like higher tier drops aren’t anymore than they used to, so maybe this is why
Game is looking cool. Combat and shooting looks and feels cool. What I dont like is you dont really get to fly your ship you just fast travel. No mans sky literally does better exploration. But this might be good with future mods

yeah bad english, I was trying to ask about the time response between you making an action and the action actually happens. you know sometime in the middle of a fight you jump or dash or what ever and there's an animation and you have to start anticipating every movement to get the right timing. thats frustrating. thx for taking the time to answer that non sense english@@FightinCowboy

My wife played that and she said this looks like a pretty huge rip off of that game. That being said, she said she will still Give this game a go.

God this game is average. NMS currently is a better game.

No real planets just generated tiles
No vehicles
No swimming
Boundaries on every planet
No seamless landing or exploration
Gunplay is decent and story is ok. 6/10.
Overall disappointed. Its hard for cowboy as he is on good terms with Xbox and Sony so he cant really rock the boat or he will lose sponsorship.
CB aint a shill. If a game he picks up is dogshit, he calls it such afterwards, sponsor or no sponsor. Most games that he streams, that are outright garbage he just stops playing. If you dont see another stream for a game, he quit cause its crap.
