Underrated and overlooked. I love this Scream and all I wanted was some really good chase scenes but overall it’s great. I hated that Judy got killed off! Great reaction.

And yes Wes was named after the creator of the series Wes Craven, also the memorial party in the 3rd act/in the final showdown was a tribute to him. In the end roll they've also showed For Wes 🩷. a lot of reactors complain about the motive for amber and richie, but honestly after being in multiple scream groups and seeing the toxicity of a lot of them, i 100% believe that in a world like this that the fans would go bonkers 😂😂
Really happy to hear people finally catching on to this film. It's written extremely smart and they don't spoon feed the audience. The killer reveal motive monologue is best next to the original.
I'm glad I'm not the only one pointing out Red Right Hand has been in nearly all the Scream movies.. When I heard it in this movie I was so excited that it was back, because it wasn't in the fourth movie, because they didn't get the rights for it I believe

IM SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT I ALSO LOVED THIS MOVIE!! I absolutely ADORE THE NEW CREW THEY SET UP FOR THE FUTURE!! The core four is incredible! I never thought in a million years I would accept anything but Syd, Gale, and Duey. But they did such a good job of tying in the new with the old and setting up to bring the franchise into a new era. UNFORTUNATELY THEY PULLED THEE DUMBEST MOVE EVER AND FIRE MELISSA BARRERA…since they did that Jenna Ortega said she won’t return. Which is a bummer!! Those two I found them sooooo interesting especially after Scream 6! And the remaining core 4 and OG’s going into Scream 7 I was incredibly excited to see what they do with them. But now who knows? Plus a lot of them potentially died in 6 who knows who will actually be left standing ;)

Fun fact and this may have already been said on a video but the guy who wrote and created SCREAM is the co creator of The Vampire Diaries TV show Kevin Williamson. The original SCREAM is still my favorite thriller/Horror film it feels so nostalgic to me.
The thing I dislike about the Scream franchise is that people don't need rehabilitation for muscle and nerve damage. They can get stabbed multiple times and not only survive but be up walking and fighting within a few hours.
Remember she's on a private flaw because of the other attack... now why there's no staff, I have no clue, but having her already isolated made it much easier to get to her.
The 4th one is still one of my faves but this was a solid one and they had a lot of call backs. The 6th one is even more intense and brutal than this one. You can tell the 5th one was supposed to emulate Scream 1 and 6 kind of emulates Scream 2.
i said it before and i'll say it again.....the Scream series has been utterly brilliant so far. i've seen all of them and i love all of them. True i like some a little bit more than others but we all feel that way don't we. If i had to pick a favourite it would probably be either the original Scream, Scream 4 or Scream 5...but i digress they are all brilliant in my eyes. it is just the way they are told...the development...the interconnection...it really is BETTER than Saw i stand by that and we all know how many Saw films there are.
Honestly you gotta think after all the past attacks. The sheriff would have known her son would be a target, being in the friend group of a girl who was attacked. I would have drove my son to the airport & flew him to another state until they catch the people.
Aw you guys skipped over the best part of Wes' pre-death scene where he opened every single freaking door/cabinet in that kitchen and nothing happened until he got to the front door.
makes me so sad rewatching the new movies knowing that melissa was fired for supporting palestine (and rightly so), causing jenna, jasmine and mason all to leave the series with her. the studio really fucked up because they are a huge part of what makes the new movies so incredible.
Neve had a lot to say in building Sid this movie she read the script in the kitchen an she said no way Sydney Prescott is sitting around while they are talking on when there a knife on the counter she’s definitely Ganna go for the weapon, all her instincts the last 25+ years is to take down ghost face.

it is just the way they are told...the development...the interconnection...it really is BETTER than Saw i stand by that and we all know how many Saw films there are.
Honestly you gotta think after all the past attacks. The sheriff would have known her son would be a target, being in the friend group of a girl who was attacked. I would have drove my son to the airport & flew him to another state until they catch the people.

makes me so sad rewatching the new movies knowing that melissa was fired for supporting palestine (and rightly so), causing jenna, jasmine and mason all to leave the series with her. the studio really fucked up because they are a huge part of what makes the new movies so incredible.

Scream is my favorite franchise. Idky ive seen all these movies so many times and obviously i knew when i seen this i live in modesto. It was kinda cool cuz its a hella random town for them to pick. Anyways i just realize my bio moms last name is also prescott. Lol. Theres also a road in Modesto called prescott. None of this matters haha.
