My favorite thing about the twist of Billy being Sams dad is that it fully feels like something Billy would do despite it never being hinted at. Sid wasn’t having sex so he just went and cheated on her sometime during and it’s fully within his personality
More than that Billy never abhorred cheating it was the abandonment from his mother that pissed him off and the affair his father caused. So cheating is actually the most billy thing to do.
Sam may be Billy Loomis' daughter, but as a character she's like the perfect combination of Sidney and Jill. Like, she'll outwit you like Sidney but then really, really enjoy killing you. You can't help but stan.
100% agree i loved sam since the beginning mostly cuz i can see some of sidney in her by being compassionate and protective but at the same time she has the rage and will to kill if anyone tries to mess with her family or friends which is very reminiscent of billy and jill ❤

The only problem I had with Amber being the killer is they confirmed she did 99% of the killings, probably would have helped if she wasn't so small compared to Ghostface, or somehow overpowered everyone until the end.
But this happens in every movie... be it a man or a woman ghostface is always taller and stronger than the person under the mask,in 4 for example you can see Ghostface is taller than Olivia but both Charlie and Jill were shorter than her

I don't understand why Judy doesn't come up to the house with her gun drawn. She knows she's arriving to confront a killer. She's the sheriff. I know she's worried about her son, but she is so much more likely to save him by following at least some precautions. Because she didn't do that, she had no chance to save her son.

I don't think we have any official confirmation of that. Joel's last name was never said or shown in Scream 2, not even in the credits, so we don't know if he shared the last name Martin with his actor. Though there's precedence for that with Jill Roberts. I'm kinda okay with the idea Mr. Martin is just some dude we've never met before. And I feel like they would have brought up their father being a survivor of the Windsor College massacre during the meta Meeks monologue if he was Joel.

I would really have loved if Dewey had killed Ghostface and unmasked her in that hospital hallway. That would have been such an innovation, and then the other Ghostface would have to carry on with their partner dead. I would love to see that in a future _Scream_ movie, as they have really done some things to shake things up in these two movies.
