Sylvan Beach Fascination

My daughter and I play Fascination at Sylvan Beach New York. Fascination is an electronic version of bingo in which you roll a ball to light five lights in a row. This Fascination opened in 1957 and is in need of some maintenance.

We have one in Oregon at Seaside Beach. Have to play it every time we go. .

Memories! I used to play this as a kid at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk in the early late 90s. Sad they got rid of it.

Grew up playing fascination with my grandmother here every summer. Used to be 10 cents a game.

Again...glad found channel and great episode. I have some knowledge of the game...I think some were operated as concessions at parks. There was some legal action varied by state as if was a game of skill or a gambling machine...interesting and good stuff....thank you.

I think it's a game of skill....but just like regular bingo...it can be used for gambling. There was a fascination in Nantucket MA that payed out cash to the winners.
