    • @CTHSTrackTeam
      @CTHSTrackTeam 10 месяцев назад +1

      HI there! If you are using a 1 inch hardware, you will cut your piece 4 inches wide instead of 5 inches. You basically take your hardware measurement and multiply by 4. Hope that helps! :)

    Could heat and bond be usted, and what number pellon do you use?
    Thank you for your tutorial , it is nice of you to share.
    How much to you sell your key chains for? So that I can have an idea. The thin piece that you put in the middle was that batting? You have great support.
    Thanks again!!🙂

    • @ItsJustMyHobby
      @ItsJustMyHobby  Год назад

      Hello! I use Pellon P44F for this project. It’s a very inexpensive interfacing. I also used fusible fleece in this tutorial because I had a lot of scraps of it but you can certainly use batting. If you used batting, you could use heat n bond to fuse the batting to the fabric, but it’s not necessary. I currently sell for $5.75 for the small mini. Thank you for your comment. My husband is my biggest fan and support 😊

    Great video. Do you make these in different sizes? If so, what is the smallest and largest you will go? And how do you suggest for care and cleaning them? Love the tips you have added.

    • @ItsJustMyHobby
      @ItsJustMyHobby  2 года назад

      Hi Sherry! The size I show here in the video is the smallest size. I also make a larger size that fits around the wrist. That one can vary a bit but it can fit the average person. Instead of cutting the length to 6.5 inches, you will cut to 10 inches. So your piece will be 5 x 10 inches. For a larger hand, I would go with 10.5 inches. I also would suggest just hand washing and laying flat to dry. Hope that helps. Thanks for your questions!

    Can you do this with faux leather? Would you need special threads?

    • @ItsJustMyHobby
      @ItsJustMyHobby  Год назад +1

      Hi April. I have never made with faux leather. However, if I were to try that, I would use a polyester thread. I love using Gutermann Mara 100 from WAWAK.com. They have a great selection of sewing supplies and accessories. I also use Mara 70 which provides a beautiful topstitch. It is a littler thicker thread and for faux leather that might stand out better. If your faux leather is a lot thicker, you may not even need the batting. Give it a try! 😊
