You two are adorable! Very informative.
Haha! Thank you very much. We have fun!
what platform do you use to sell your products?
Hi there! Thanks for the question. I sell on Etsy and on my own website through WIX. itsjustmyhobby.com and www.etsy.com/shop/ItsJustMyHobby :)
Great tutorial ! And the “Director” did a good job also !!😅
Haha! Thank you. I'll be sure to tell him
What a cute & helpful video!! Love this!🎉
Thank you so much! :)
Very cool. Can I ask you how much you sell them for? Thank you
Hi Felicia! I believe for the small ones featured in this video, I was selling for $5.75 -$6.50, depending on where I was selling and what my supplies cost. :) Thanks for the question!
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!
This was a fun, easy bag to make! I made 2 of them so far & plan on making a few more 😊 Can't figure out how to post a picture of them. Thanks for the instructions & video. Easy to follow.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you found this helpful. I have made so many for our growing Tribe! If you have Instagram or Facebook you can post them there and tag us @itsjustmyhobby. You can also just send me an email too - renee@itsjustmyhobby.com. I'd love to see what you made. :)
I as well like to make sure my products are well made and love your idea of using the tape and glue. Very much appreciated that you shared that. Thankyou!!
@@ellebrown6560 you’re very welcome! I’m glad you got something out of it 😊
Great tutorial but too much background chatter!
Thank you Susan for watching! Sorry to hear that the hubs commentary was distracting. My husband has an inquiring mind and interacts with me as a team to help me not to forget important information. It’s our style to chat with each other and make jokes. Just like our regular daily interactions. Hope you were able to make a key fob. If you have any questions, I’m here. Happy Friday! 😊
Thank you for all the tips. Curious how much do you charge for your Mini Key Fobs? Thanks again
Hi Peggy...I think I'm at about $6 - $7 now. I started at $5.50... but that was several years ago. If you sell online, add in your shipping price and then offer free shipping. Thanks!
@@ItsJustMyHobby Thankyou
What would be the measurements we should use if we have 1 inch hardware instead of 1.25?😊 thank you and I love the tutorial!
HI there! If you are using a 1 inch hardware, you will cut your piece 4 inches wide instead of 5 inches. You basically take your hardware measurement and multiply by 4. Hope that helps! :)
@@CTHSTrackTeam omg yes thank you so much!
@@Prophetic_222 You're welcome. LOL I replied to you above from my personal RUclips account. Happy sewing!! And thank you for you comment I'm glad you liked the video.:)
Y’all are hilarious. ❤ this video.
lol thank you! That’s us everyday.
Awesome tutorial! Very thorough! Thank you for sharing!👍💕
Thank you so much for your comment!
Thank you for all the tips you give and your hubby being a part of your tutorials!
Thank you for watching, Valerie! We have a fun time. We will have a couple new tutorials coming up soon 😉
Wow,key chain fobs.. thank you sis..for sharing this good idea, i will try it to make it to sell ,especially this coming x’ mass season .good for give a ways or as a gift
Yes! These make great gifts and sell pretty easily. Thank you for watching!
Where do you buy then in bulk
Hi Maureen! Here is the link. www.etsy.com/listing/205551496/50-key-fob-hardware-with-key-rings-sets I am using the 1.25 inch hardware. I also have the link in the description right below the video and I listed all the supplies there as well if you need to find anything else to make these. Thanks for the question. Enjoy your week!
Wow I love these minis. I am new to your channel. TFS.
Thank you! They work great to find your keys too if you keep in a bag or purse! Thanks for the follow! :)
Hello. What sewing machine do you have?
Hello.. For this tutorial, I used my Juki 2010q. I have had it for about 4 years and I love it. I think you can still by this model. I purchased the floor demo at $850. If you are interested in a Juki, Juki Junkies has a wide variety of sewing machines, domestic and industrial! :) Thanks for the question.
I am definitely making this. Thank you
Your video was very well done. I very much appreciate the time you took. I sell thing’s at our farmers market and have been asked to make these. I have so many scraps. I just need the hardware which I would think you got at Amazon. Thank you
Thank you! I appreciate you commenting 😊. I believe there is a link for where I got my hardware from a shop on Etsy. It is great for scraps! I need to do another scrap buster video lol.
What happened to putting the fabric to the hardware?
If I’m understanding your question correctly, I add the finished fabric to the hardware at 18:58 minutes on the video. Is that what you mean? 😉
These little projects are so satisfying! Best tutorial out here for these. Thanks for the video. Keep it up! 💯
Thank you, Karri! I appreciate that. I have more to film. I'm so behind! lol
❤ cool thanks
Great video! My bag came out awesome :)
How much do you charge when you sell thesee
I’m selling for $5.75 for the small ones I believe. 😉
Liked your tutorial, but found the man asking all the questions distracting.
Hi Darlene. I’m so sorry to hear that! The man in the background is my husband and my biggest supporter. He has pushed me to start these videos and I find it helpful that he asks questions that I wouldn’t think of. But thank you for your comment. I’m thinking I may need to mic him so you can hear him better. I hope you are able to make some!
Maybe if I did hear him better might help. I do love the laughter between you too. Love to see marriages working. My hubby of 53 years is my best friend also.
That’s so wonderful! The Hubs is my best friend too! ❤
Cool
Nice job!
Thanks for the visit 😊
I love that you both work together on this. It is so much fun! I have a pair of Tula Pink Scissors that my husband almost lost his life over using! Good thing I saw it first! LOL
I'm cracking up right now. Thanks so much. He's my biggest fan. But yeah, he's had "near death" experiences as well. LOL
I love this tutorial and your interaction with each other. Looking forward to many more videos. Thank you.
Thank you, Barbara! He keeps me laughing every day and I think that’s so important. He’s my biggest fan lol.
Can you do this with faux leather? Would you need special threads?
Hi April. I have never made with faux leather. However, if I were to try that, I would use a polyester thread. I love using Gutermann Mara 100 from WAWAK.com. They have a great selection of sewing supplies and accessories. I also use Mara 70 which provides a beautiful topstitch. It is a littler thicker thread and for faux leather that might stand out better. If your faux leather is a lot thicker, you may not even need the batting. Give it a try! 😊
Could heat and bond be usted, and what number pellon do you use? Thank you for your tutorial , it is nice of you to share. How much to you sell your key chains for? So that I can have an idea. The thin piece that you put in the middle was that batting? You have great support. Thanks again!!🙂
Hello! I use Pellon P44F for this project. It’s a very inexpensive interfacing. I also used fusible fleece in this tutorial because I had a lot of scraps of it but you can certainly use batting. If you used batting, you could use heat n bond to fuse the batting to the fabric, but it’s not necessary. I currently sell for $5.75 for the small mini. Thank you for your comment. My husband is my biggest fan and support 😊
Y’all are to funny
Haha! We have fun.
Cute interactions. You can tell he has watched and asked you lots of questions about your craft. Very nice for him to be involved.
Thank you Rebecca. He is my biggest fan! :)
Love your video and your clock!!!
Thanks so much!!
New subscriber! Loving this bag- fab shape!
Isn't it so cute? Thanks for subscribing!!
Enjoyed the video. I will be making some! Thank you 😊
Glad you liked it! Love to see what you make?
Great video! Your husband asks some good questions 😂
He does! He keeps me on my toes haha.
Just subscribed! Great job!!
Thanks so much. I appreciate your support! ❤️
So cute!! Love the shape.
I thought so too! Such a cute pattern.
Great bag!! I wish my girls were still little so I could make them bags too! Hand made quilts are very expensive because of the very fact that they take a long time to make. There is an art to it, plus a lot of patience.
Agreed! I need to make another quilt lol.
1st time watching. New subscriber. Thanks for the lesson!! 😍
Thanks for subscribing! We appreciate it. Hope I can teach you something lol …or at least give you a laugh. 😂
Really loved watching this video and the interaction between you and your hubby/partner. Great to see the support 👍
Thanks so much! We do make a good team.
These are so cute I have to try it. What other uses can they be used for? I don't have keys🤣
I'm cracking up. Lol. Funny you ask because I made one for myself and it's in my purse connected to some random keys. We have aTesla and don't have car keys and no house keys because we have digital push buttons combinations on our door locks. Haha! Maybe put on your mailbox key?? Thanks for your question. 🤣
💗👏💗
Omg you too are great love it
Lol thank you! I appreciate that. We have a good time. 😊
Oh my goodness LOVE you two! Great video and was so fun to meet you today! Subscribed! ❤
Thank you!! We’re having so much fun. Literally how we interact on the daily haha! Great to meet you too.
Do you use inch width fold over elastic? Thank you for the great tutorial!
Hi! The fold over elastic is 5/8 inch! Good question. I did not mention that. Thank you!
What type of hard ware is this. Not enough details about that
Hi Donna! The hardware is called key fob hardware. There is a link in the description that you can click where I have purchased before. I used the 1.25 inch size and I believe that purchase also comes with the key rings. 😊 thank you for your question!
We don't do Halloween here in Italy but the bag is so cute 😍 I am new here and I think you are both cute. I wish you a great weekend.
Giovanna…Thank you so much! I was so hesitant to take on RUclips but my husband is my biggest fan and he talked me into it! We have always made a great team lol. You have a super weekend as well. 😊
That was an excellent video!
Well thank you so much! We will have more to come. I appreciate your comment! 😉
