- In this video we visit Leederville, a station on the Joondalup Line in Perth's inner northern suburbs. Here we see a couple of Transperth B Series EMU's arriving and departing the station. Leederville is the first station along the line after the Perth CBD, and opened on the 20th December 1992 as one of the original stations on the line. Like most stations on the line it's built in the middle of the Mitchell Freeway reserve.

It's pretty cool to see a station and majority of a line inside the middle of a freeway!
If done right you get 2 birds with One Stone and can make both sides of the coin happy
Nice to see Perth getting some love again
Will we see Transperth C series vids? Perth's new train ;-)
No. He's back in Melbourne. This is when he visited Perth when the Airport line opened.
I’m not a fan of Leederville, not a very wide platform, and there’s no designated Transperth parking. Second worst station behind Canning Bridge
Canning bridge is better for bus connections lol
@@PerthTrainAndBus It is literally in the middle of a highway
@PerthTrainAndBus It's bus interchange is terrible. The fact that you have to cross a busy highway to get to the other side is crazy.
