- Finally got an update on the 78, ive been able to work at the truck a lot more lately. hopefully i can keep going. theres a lot of painstaking work to be done with the body so content will be quite slow for a bit as its a lot harder to put it together than it is to take it apart

Wow long time no see glad all is well bub
Thanks for the time and effort good sir!
Love the truck projects. The pete is going to be awesome when done
For fiberglass, the woven roving is stronger than the mat fiberglass.
Also, a thin roller helps in wetting out the glass.
Keep them coming.
Best wishes from Northern Manitoba.
Glad to see everything is good keep the videos coming
Awesome cowboy boots at 4:24. They look great. You still rockin' Boulets?
no these are ariats, i forget exactly which, my last pair lasted 4 years so i got them again, the boulets were decent but nothing has the life span i can get from ariat when you work in the salt and snow
@@Bubbles8V92 Cool, would be good to see a review of the boots with them on your feet if you have time in your next video.
Realistically, how long is this project going to take you think?
another year or two minimum, if i was doing it all in a shop and wasnt a long distance driver it would be a lot quicker
Like your videos brother, you have a plan set in mind for how long you want this restoration to take? I only ask because your doing a great job taking it completely apart nothing is in touched so I figured this might be 2-4 years?
Ya Quite a while, i wasnt able to work on it for a year unfortunately but now things are moving again, also we have the 87 project which i need to make more videos on as well, i dont have that many hours into it honestly, its more learning the best way to do things that takes a long time, the next one would be much faster. also trying to shoot everything is a massive pain/learning curve
What's up with the cabover next to the truck your working on? Someone really moved into it and trashed it? Wtf not kool
It's next on the list 1986 425 b model
@@Bubbles8V92 sweet can't wait driv,ah
are ye gonna rebuild it in Aluminium or Steel?, the Aloy Panels ye can still buy alot of these fae Dirks
or there was another one, which name I forgot, that had all panels and braces ,even the Roof cap in Aloy, but 🤌
Ya i believe the other place is out of chicago? I can get them made at a local shop, being in canada makes it really expensive to buy too much from dirks, the stuff we have seems excellent though
