I understand how to add a surface finish to certain surfaces. But can you tell me a good (or the right) way to add the general surface finish to as MBD, so that it's also usable in the drawing?

Hi, in 6:13 I noticed that you have a hole annotation which seems to be a hole note callout by its form (hole and counterbore diameter and length all combined in one annotation), but it is a driven dimension (thus allowing semantic reference). Could you please tell me, how this can be achieved? Thank you

Hole notes are generated automatically for Standard Holes.

@@CADPLMGuy yes, that is working ok. When I create a Standard hole, I can see a preview of that note in the Note tab (I have defined custom callouts in the hole chart) and once the Hole definition is done I can assign this note to some combination state. However after I do this, when I click on this note in the model, Creo still treats it as a note (which I assume is ok). Problem is, that I can not select a reference (hole surfaces for example) for that note if I would like to follow this semantic references principle. However in your video (6:33) you are modifying a dimension (ad51) which also contains counterbore diameter and depth. My question would be if there is a way to convert Hole Note to a proper dimensions or if I have to let's say create a hole diameter dimension and manually add its depth and counterbore information to this dimension?

Why don't you want to make the references strong ?

Because then the annotation can fail if the references are lost. Personally I don’t want regeneration failures from my annotations. Your mileage may vary.
