I've done a few replacements of standard joycon sticks with the gulikit set. The only thing I've noticed is that the plastic may be a bit more fragile. My friend and I have seen a few sets break right at the plastic where they are screwed down. So definitely do not over tighten the screws with these kits.
I just installed one hall stick for my regular Switch and the calibrate only registers the top left area. So neutral position is set to 25% x 25% and moving the stick to the bottom-right registers at 50% x 50% or 0 x 0. All movement is registered, but restricted to the top left corner. Is my new stick bad or did I order a wrong model?
You mentioned you could get the sticks in white as well; i have not been able to find guilikit sticks in white. I ordered a different brand of white hall sticks, they should be arriving within a week or so. I am worried they wont be the right color to match the white buttons on a switch lite or that they wont be as good quality as guilikit; i have used guilkit before on my v1 switch and they hold up well.
Did it improve the battery life as well ?, as that is one of the claims the company makes, is that it uses something like 50% less power then the factory sticks.
None from my end, I had them installed in my lite over six months ago and still going strong. A lot more noticeable from the standard ones. It’s definitely a game changer. Get yourself a nice grip with handles as well.
@@headerahelix the Gulikit replacement sticks have more stiffness and feel a lot more like a normal Xbox or ps controller. The OG joycons were terrible and after 1 month I had a lot of drift on my right joycon. I have had my sticks changed a few times with generic sticks but Gulikit sticks have been perfect from day one.

While you were there, should have changed to all black buttons.

Thank you!

I don’t really have any ways of measuring this, as in the end it’s to small of a difference.
@@Techcravers How would you know it's to small of a difference if you can't measure it ?

Has anyone experienced any issues with these sticks, I've seen lots of good and bad things about them!

@@DarkstarMondayWhat do you mean by "a lot more noticeable"?

Edit: They don’t feel that flimsy now.
@@DarkstarMonday Ohh that sounds perfect, thank you.
Can these sticks be used with original switch (not lite or oled)?
