the thing that makes mario even funnier for me is the pure lack of emotion when he's comboing the shit out of you, and the fact he's got the biggest "fuck you gonna do about it" face when he does fair just completes the character for me

As a Mario main, all I got to say is "you just love to see that forward aerial" Mario is hype ass character.
I ain't even a mario main and i find that character hype as hell. The fluidity and speed of some of these combos are just legendary!

Mario’s one of the most respectful high/top tiers. I’ve barely seen anyone complain how broken he is compared to the other characters.
He’s pretty much one of those characters that are always hype when in the right hands.

He's good because he has a great toolkit that needs to be used correctly to set up for some gnarly hype shit, unlike many other high tiers that just rely on bs moves that play the game for them, or s/super armor/pancakes that make trying to hit them a fucking nightmare. Sure Mario has his share of cheese with his cape and fludd, but they need to be well placed moves to actually do anything

Even though Mario is intended to be the "jack-of-all-trades and master-of-none" character, this video proves that he can still pull off some INSANE stuff when he's used in the right hands.
I mean tbf, he’s well equipped to pull off “insane stuff” because he’s decent at everything. He doesn’t really have any significant weaknesses but his strengths aren’t all that great either - you only really get a lot of mileage out of Mario by putting in the time with him, just like you would any other character, but he can do it pretty much everywhere because he’s got tools for pretty much everything.

@@flipflubduck I think Mario is underrated tbh. I think he's top 20. His match up spread is pretty damn good. He doesn't really have any terrible match ups. Sure swordies are a little tougher but he's got good frame data and if your fundies are good you can literally solo him with no issues. I wish we had a really good active Mario rep ATM. It was cool to see dark wizzy compete recently. Mario is so fun to watch.

I am destined to be a Mario main, but instead it's in SSBM, for some reason I find Mario there way more faster like mii brawler with broken hit boxes and easier to land foward Aerial there, I am still training to this day and I am decently learning how to wave dash!

The only thing I don't like about Mario is his Final Smash. It might be massive, but easily dodgeable and minimally impressive like Brawler Mii's. Otherwise, he's my all-time favorite character across all six Smash entries. Fast, powerful, snappy and complete.
If I were that Mii Brawler, I definitely would've rage quit because my last stock was taken THAT early!

Mario is the undisputed king of his industry and I would be surprised if anyone could disprove my point. Even if you believe another character is the king of gaming, Mario will come out on top. Super Smash Bros. would not exist if it weren't for Mario. If Mario didn't exist, the entire gaming industry would fail and the only character to see remote success would be Pac-Man.

Mii Brawler's Suplex has a wind box on it for some weird reason, when Mario flipped him with the cape the Suplex went off stage instead, which also dragged Mario off the stage. But Mario was fine.
