Don’t know if it’s intentional by super 7 but these are nothing like the initial design or promo pictures they showed. They tried to make it look more like bruce lee by slimming the face also the textured pants are gone. No hate, just a Bruce Lee fan stating an opinion.
I love and root for Super 7. But the renders vs in hand are really off sometimes. Makes me not want to preorder anymore. Still pumped for King Conan and Lemmy. Great review!
Just got my order of ‘The Warrior’ figure, I fell in love with it when it was release. Especially since the figure depicts Bruce Lee’s Way of the Dragon. The Fighter, the Challenger I want them all 😂 🐉
I love the collection. I’m so excited they’re doing Valeria and we got king Conan coming… I think they might even do Destroyer… Very very cool time to be collecting lol.
Ultimates are limited action figures for sure. There’s one Bruce I saw on eBay that looks like it’s articulated like Legends. But it was over $100 at this point.
That will be extremely cool because I’m a big fan of their work. 5KToys just revealed their Bruce figure…. I’m going to pick it up… But it is nowhere near the likeness of these figures. Same price though. And better articulation.
These came out better than expected. I got the DST Bruce Lee from Game of Death from a few years back, and keeping in mind those were cheaper figures, this feel a lot better. Like the DST had technically more articulation with double jointed elbows and knees but the articulation didn't work all that well and the plastic felt super cheap, it all warped over time, like legs got bended from just standing up, the ideas were good but the fabrication was a mess, and the likeness was way off, it looked like one of those copycats that came out after Bruce Lee died (Bruce Li,Dragon Lee, etc XD). For make matters worse there was no hand that had a firm grip on the weapons, so although there were cool accesories it defeats the whole purpose if he can't hold it properly.
IDK dude......I got these today and I gotta say, even tho they are much smaller, I think I like my Figuarts Bruce figures better. The face sculpts are leaps and bounds ahead of these and the overall figure just looks better. Awesome review nonetheless! Will still keep these for the Lee Jun Fan collection
I recently saw the SHF andit the portraits look real great. But other than SHF I haven’t seen anybody else get make them that good. I like the ones I mentioned but the others aren’t very good at all for sure

i might be going of a rant but in my opion they did bruce dirty. the articulation is trash. only single joints, no thigh swivle but knee swivle that just looks ugly, no ankle rocker which is critical for bruce lee, and this is just a little nit pick but the shoes one way of the dragon version is too big. this is why i refuse to buy this despite me being a bruce lee fan to heart
Nah I don’t think you’re off. I tend to be bias with my figures because I analyze them to death before I buy them 😂. These are not super articulated. They are more about deco and animated appeal. Im hoping to get the SHF so I could have more pose-ability. I totally agree that the Warrior figure has huge feet too btw. Lol
These look so much worse than the renders it's not even funny. The clothing on the renders had a fabric texture sculpted in, but these are just smooth, glossy and cheap looking. The paint on the headsculpts is incredibly mediocre. There is absolutely no reason for any Super7 figure to be as expensive as they are. They're peddling Mattel or Hasbro quality stuff and charging premium prices.

I find these figures LACKING.
Not that good, shame that the legendary Bruce Lee has no exceptional action figures made of him..yet, time will tell.
