I think is a waste to have Bruce Lee under s7 product due to the fact it cannot produce much dynamic post with those outdated single joint. Their excuses for retaining the asthetic but the actual fact is all about cost saving only.
This review helped me, but not Super7. I was thinking of picking up a set since BBTS seems to be trying to unload all of their Super7 Ultimates. The likeness is undeniably Bruce Lee, but at the same time lacks in terms of modern likenesses. The limited elbows and knees are a disappointment. Overall, the end products do not much the product renders.

I look at Ultimates as a similar line to McFarlane Toys in the sense that there’s both an awesomeness and a caveat for the figures. With McFarlane many of the figures look gorgeous. But they honestly are just “standers” or looking down flyers. They don’t articulate for play. I could never hit some of the poses with McFarlanes that I hit with Ultimates Bruce. Same thing for most Neca figures. With Ultimates I feel like it’s a very unique cartoon-art line. Even the new ODB & BIG figures look “real” but there’s also a cartoon-esque feel to them. I enjoy Ultimates for giving familiar properties that unique art style. I’m def gonna collect the entire run of Ultimates Bruce 😅
@@HappyPursuits it's not a terrible figure and you did a good job of enumerating all the points that helped me make my decision. Maybe if I didn't just get Jada's Fei Long figure. Maybe. They're just way similar looks from a distance and I'm low on shelf space.
