Just have Bray repeatedly beat on Seth with no pin attempts or anything to make it seem like the Fiend only wants to hurt Seth and not win. I know it may have made Seth look weak but it makes significantly more sense than the ref feeling bad for some supernatural creature
Yk it's bad when seth rollins mentioned that he is willing to choke vince for coming up with the ending and bray wyatt basically said imagine how I feel (agreeing with rollins)

Terrible, one of the worst things they've done in a while. Bray no selling everything, the repetitive offense by Rollins, and that damn red lighting, he ending was the capper to the shit Sundae
1:31 I think the Money in the Bank event is the only exception to this. Because it's prestige and value of the event and the match type itself is now equivalent to the Big Four. Maybe now called the Big Five for the first time since King of the Ring 2002.
If they had just let Bray Wyatt win clean after tanking several curb stumps and hammer shots it would have built the fiend even more , but no, can’t have Seth lose clean after failing with the bad booking against Brock
I remember I stopped consistently watching WWE in 2017 cause Jinder had just beaten Nakamura, since then I would only watch a few ppvs, I watched the build to KofiMania and his match vs Bryan but besides that I was basically done with WWE. Then I heard about the Fiend character and I came back for this match and that finish almost killed my love for wrestling altogether. If I never found out about AEW in late 2019 I prolly would’ve never started watching wrestling until CM Punk returned. Glad I came back tho cause 2020 was a good year for both companies imo and made me forget about this disaster
This match almost killed WWE altogether bro. This was the bottom of the barrel of Vince's "I'm too busy doing weird sex shit with Johnny Ace and my interns to book anything coherent" era 😂
I still stand by what I said in 2019 and that's that I was FINE by this finish. You see, this was bound to happen the moment the hell in a cell match was announced. Fiend was a character that didn't need a belt. He didn't need to constantly appear either which is something that couldn't be avoided if he was the champ. Rollins dropping the belt too early wouldn't made sense either so they had to book things in a way where Rollins don't lose the title but at the same time Fiend looks dominant hence the finishing shot of that ppv. After that, I believe they just put the belt because of the incredible amount of heat thrown at them because fans can't digest how storyline works and just wants a "clean" finish. The only way all of this could be avoided is to NOT have a hell in a cell match to begin with. Have them fight in a no DQ match or something. There have been times when matches like them have ended in a no contest so that could've worked. Point is, I believe both the fans and the company were at fault. Fans at overreacting so much online that it made me cringe and WWE for booking them in a Hell in a Cell match. All in all, Rollins has pretty much redeemed himself with having two of the absolute best Hell in a Cell matches of all times against Edge and then Cody Rhodes which is the 2nd only HIAC match with a 5 star rating. p.s. I still believe that the 2019 HIAC was a decent show and better than SummerSlam 2019 most definitely, a show for which everyone seems to have a boner on
The only reason that match is called the worst ever is cuz it ended in dq. But that match is what began to bring back more brutal attitude era type moments. That was the first match that brought back head chair shots. Bro literally tried murdering bray by crushing his scull with an unprotected sledge hammer shot to a toolbox on his head. It’s kinda dumb it ended in dq but he literally tried to murder the fiend. That match brought back so many brutal moments
Like making hell in a cell a ppv was not bad enough they do this ,ppl we're not as invested in the fiend and eventhore seth recovered from this he was never the same again after it😅
What would’ve make more sense is if the match just continued as it was but then at the end, the referee stopped the match because he thought that because of all the items on top of him the fiend was unable to continue, then it would be a no contest and then the fiend got back up 20 seconds after the bell rung like nothing has happened and chased after Rollins, this way they could’ve had Rollins retain the title and it also would’ve kept the fiends reputation In tact.
Seth's reaction after the HITC match was bad, I agree. He did mess up in twitter. But you have to feel for him. It was him against the whole world. WWE was supposed to have his back, but they had a new toy to play with now so they left him alone to take all the hate and beatings alone. And personally I think he got frustrated and made some mistakes which he has redeemed himself from very quickly. I don't think those mistakes should define his character or even his legacy. He is an amazing guy, and he has proven time after time that he is up there to be considered as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time(personal opinion).
My reaction was alright. It was a strange match not a good one, but if you watch the product a lot you get use to it. Couldn't realize in the moment why there is so much heat
I don't care if that was for storytelling reasons the only story I saw was witnessing what could have been an undertaker level character get ruined by the second match (first being finn balor)
I have sensitivity to certain colors at certain saturations and I literally couldn't watch the match because the red light was physically painful to my eyes. Who thought that was a good idea.
It was definitely one of if not the worst match in the last 10 years and it completely killed the cell's credibility. Sure we've gotten some good matches inside Hell in a Cell after this but it hasn't been the same for me. This match used to brutal, a bloodbath, and a war. Just look at all the brutal matches and moments like Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in 2002 that was one of the bloodiest matches ever, or all the insane shit Mick Foley did inside and outside the cell. The match now just feels like another gimmick match instead of a brutal matches to end rivalries.
I literally wanted to throw my remote at the TV at the time when the Seth Rollins vs Bray Wyatt ended in a DQ, the only good match that Bray Wyatt had with a Sheild member was Roman Reigns in 2015.
It’s those things were if you don’t want any of them to win don’t book the match

I agree with your point he shouldn’t have been a constant. I think it dropped the intimidation factor and caused them to run out of material they could really do with the gimmick
Ah yes, the classic story of this particular match.
This is the moment rollins knew he had to turn heel
If they had just let Bray Wyatt win clean after tanking several curb stumps and hammer shots it would have built the fiend even more , but no, can’t have Seth lose clean after failing with the bad booking against Brock
I'm honestly surprised people didn't track down the refs socials and direct the hate toward him.
Restarting the match would have saved the match
I remember I stopped consistently watching WWE in 2017 cause Jinder had just beaten Nakamura, since then I would only watch a few ppvs, I watched the build to KofiMania and his match vs Bryan but besides that I was basically done with WWE. Then I heard about the Fiend character and I came back for this match and that finish almost killed my love for wrestling altogether. If I never found out about AEW in late 2019 I prolly would’ve never started watching wrestling until CM Punk returned. Glad I came back tho cause 2020 was a good year for both companies imo and made me forget about this disaster
That will always be the dumbest ending to a match in WWE History
Im begging you to turn the volume up a bit in your videos, man
After this abomination, every time Seth went in Hell in a Cell, he said “f*ck that” and the Edge and Cody helluva Cell matches happened.
The most worst thing for me was the injured Seth has beaten the Beast. That was the WTF moment of the year for me.
Don’t think I didn’t notice that Edubble - Opening Day background music😏
TO THOSE WHO ASK WHY WE HATE THIS CRAP OF A MATCH: IS BECAUSE HOW THE FXXXX CAN YOU DQ A MATCH WHERE THERE IS NO DQ!!!
This match almost killed WWE altogether bro. This was the bottom of the barrel of Vince's "I'm too busy doing weird sex shit with Johnny Ace and my interns to book anything coherent" era 😂
I Believe This Was The Point Where People Stop Watching And Switched To AEW
Honestly the wsc prediction action figure match of the fiend vs Rollins was better than the real match
I was there and the boos were all I heard. Even after the show went off the air.
This match killed Seth. Literally killed his career
No
@@EliasRoy hes the 3 rate world champ now 🤣 basically a united states champ woth zero history in the belt. He was on top before the Bray match
@@jamiewalsh9184 And The Fiend lost against Goldberg 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All in all, Rollins has pretty much redeemed himself with having two of the absolute best Hell in a Cell matches of all times against Edge and then Cody Rhodes which is the 2nd only HIAC match with a 5 star rating.
p.s. I still believe that the 2019 HIAC was a decent show and better than SummerSlam 2019 most definitely, a show for which everyone seems to have a boner on
Worst thing to ever happen to HIAC is becoming its own ppv
A Hell in a Cell match ending in a DQ under any circumstances is just ridiculous. It's Hell in a Cell for crying out loud!
Thank God Vince Retired Vince Dementia hurting the fricking WWE Triple H will fix everything for the best
Aye man… U ain’t slick … U snuck 8:12 in there 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The only reason that match is called the worst ever is cuz it ended in dq.
The first chair shot to the head had me hype as fuck
This was when Vince really needed to go like really really
Rollins peaked in 2015 and man imo the best heel champion run ever.
Y is ur video so quiet bro, i have to turn my volume up to max to get it normal
Seth's reaction after the HITC match was bad, I agree. He did mess up in twitter. But you have to feel for him. It was him against the whole world. WWE was supposed to have his back, but they had a new toy to play with now so they left him alone to take all the hate and beatings alone. And personally I think he got frustrated and made some mistakes which he has redeemed himself from very quickly. I don't think those mistakes should define his character or even his legacy. He is an amazing guy, and he has proven time after time that he is up there to be considered as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time(personal opinion).
Agreed he's more like the Modern Day Goat of Pro Wrestling.
No it won’t lol. It was clearly Vince’s stupidity
If bray didn’t win there would of been boos but what made it worse was the stipulation a hell in a cell match ending in a no contest…give me a break
This is the match that made me quit wrestling, I still haven’t watched wwe since
Just the thought of that Hell in a cell match makes my stomach boil 🥴
I can't believe someone would use a sledgehammer in a match. It's unconscionable.
Right, Triple H?
HIAC 2019 was a contribution to the rise of AEW
AEW is terrible rn 😂😂😂😂
@@EliasRoyhe’s talking about during that time
My reaction was alright. It was a strange match not a good one, but if you watch the product a lot you get use to it. Couldn't realize in the moment why there is so much heat
Can you fix your wm21 video?
Honestly I liked the red lights for the fiend but the cell should be the original
I don't care if that was for storytelling reasons the only story I saw was witnessing what could have been an undertaker level character get ruined by the second match (first being finn balor)
The crazy part was that I was there
Wasn’t this in CA?? I remember the crowd was PISSED
yeah Sacramento
@@SuperkickStudios man I remember the hallways of golden one all you hear is refund and that sucks heard some aew chants, crazy
2:29 lol Brock didn’t know what to do with the door
Eating A Hashbrown While Watching This.
and after this seth delivered 2 banger hiac matches.sasha and seth are the greatest hiac performers of this era.
We are forgetting that it was never Rollins who booked this, it was Creative
I have sensitivity to certain colors at certain saturations and I literally couldn't watch the match because the red light was physically painful to my eyes. Who thought that was a good idea.
This fued with fiend made seth what he is today...visionary...revolutionary....freakin awesome rollins
How?
Fact
It was definitely one of if not the worst match in the last 10 years and it completely killed the cell's credibility. Sure we've gotten some good matches inside Hell in a Cell after this but it hasn't been the same for me. This match used to brutal, a bloodbath, and a war. Just look at all the brutal matches and moments like Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in 2002 that was one of the bloodiest matches ever, or all the insane shit Mick Foley did inside and outside the cell. The match now just feels like another gimmick match instead of a brutal matches to end rivalries.
Brooooo 🔥 never thought about this bro but this would’ve solved everything
I literally wanted to throw my remote at the TV at the time when the Seth Rollins vs Bray Wyatt ended in a DQ, the only good match that Bray Wyatt had with a Sheild member was Roman Reigns in 2015.
