Yes dude, destroy stuff is good. Got to install superknucles as well, been sitting in the box for ages 😁 So I guess you will not be driving straight with this setup so see you on track one day 😃
hey mate, love your videos, if you ever see this, do you know the wheel specs of the wheel you put on for the clearance test, im wanting to buy the destory or die knuckle and want to see if i will rub, im running a 15x8+10, TYSM!
I hope you’re still answering these comments, wonderful video but I could use your help! I have extended lower front control arms for more camber to fit my 16x9 -5 wheels. I’m on bags and when I air out I’m just too close to the tire so I’m looking to add a few more degrees of negative camber. Also the strut is rubbing against my upper control arm very badly. Would this new upper arm allow me to achieve a few more degrees of negative camber? Or since it’s longer will it just push my wheel out further while giving me limited adjustability? And I was also looking into getting these knuckles to correct some of the sloppiness in my steering from all the camber. Thank you in advance!
The front upper is stock length at the shortest setting so it won’t push your wheel out any further unless you extend it. The hole for the strut is larger than OEM to provide more clearance from the strut. If you have any other questions you can email hello@destroyordie.com
Going to be doing just front upper and lower arms on mine soon, just a question about torquing them down. Do these particular arms not need to be done under the cars weight to avoid any issues? I remember something about this when fitting my coilovers, I forgot this and ended up with a slight uneven height until I re-did the top arm bolts with the car on its wheels (a faff if you dont have a good ramp so can use a jack)
Looking to purchase the kit soon for my mk2.5 svt, i'm aware they don't come with ABS brackets and i can't for the life of me find any solid info on how people rectified this. Did you completely remove your abs system or just disconnected sensors and fuse as stated on a few sites? 😅 Keep up the good work dude 👍
Yeah I was looking into this for when I go the BMW gearbox route but not sure how I'm gonna get sensors onto the hubs. I've got a 1998 Jap import so it didn't have abs in the first place
I know this is like a year old video, but I wonder whats your experience. My set of skidnation bolts stripped to hell when I torqued them, and according to skidnation it was because I copper greased the threads which I should never do because it changes the torque limit on them basically.
hmm thts strange. i personally didnt have a problem but yes after a bit or research they are correct with what they are saying, copper grease can change the torque limit
Im yet to find a more informative, to the point video on upgrading mx5s. Earned a new sub from me! Will be following and refering back to your videos when i get my 5. Keep up the great videos
Hey mate nice videos , i'm in the process of building my mk2.5 and your videos are very explanatory. Question about the bushes ,why you didn't go for the sadfab kit ?
hi there, as im sure you can tell from my shocking accent im from the uk and i believe sadfab are a us company? bofi racing shipped the bush kit to me within two working days 😉
@@Project380 after being 5 years in uk ,i think i'm starting to get used of the accent, fitting the coilover on the miata was a shocking episode .. Despite the bad jokes, sadfab are based in us yes, bofi has a lot of products, a bought some for mine also and probably will buy some more in the future, it was a question, why this and not that mostly but thanks for your time keep up the good work !
Really cool kit and quality instructive video as always!

going straight is boring sometimes 😉 cant wait to see you on the track 😎
Hi bud what a great video but are your front brake caliper carrier bolts too long?
thank you. yeah they were about 2mm too long so i just filed them down a little
Hi mate great channel very knowledgeable. We're did you get your bushes from do they stock them in the UK? Can only find them in the states.
thank you luke. i purchased these from BOFI the links down in description. be quick though as they seem to sell out quick
Thank u brotha 🙏 💯 💪 ❤️
No problem 👍
Really cool video!!! And amazing suspension setup!
Although I now know way too much on your lube habits....
lube is your friend
at max track width can you still use the stock tie rods? or do you recommend any extensions for the tie rod?
with max track width you will need extensions or else you wont be able to get the toe in and out anywhere near

it should fit fine, as a test fit i used 16x7 et30 and a 15x9 et 0 and both cleared

i think unless you have a ramp or your body panels off this will be quiet difficult. its probably worth shooting destroy or die a message
@@Project380 I use Olympic weight plates under the wheels when I'm undersealing which gets it quite high so that could work I guess 😬

Great stuff. Must be so nice to refresh everything! Quick question, where did you get your coilover socks from?
thank you. the sock kit is actual a teigawa one but bought from ebay was about £30

Did you run into issues being too low with the hsd coilovers and the super knuckles lowering 40mm naturally?
yeah a little bit
What's the most negative camber you can run with the adjustable lower control arms?
At the current moment i cant measure but im sure if you shoot destroy or die a message on facebook or insta they will get an answer to you
Just curious looking into this kit, can you run stock front upper control arms with the knuckles? Btw nice video.
yes you can! But check your wheels don't rub them at full angle.
Yes you can. depending on the rest of the set up
