Thanks for your patience over the past few weeks. I had a full business week followed by a Hurricane week that has me quite behind. I hope you enjoy this video!
Thanks for hanging in there! Hoping to get another one out this week (maybe Thursday/Friday) to make up for the one I missed and then we would be back on track this Saturday.
I found Kindle highly entertaining, always a pleasure listening to well though out answers without oodles of stuttering and filler words! Eager to see more content with two of you together!
Oh my gosh, I absolutely adored the interview with you & Kindle, all while watching you do the job too. Brad, can I just say, you picked a good one, she sounds like such a sweet lady, who obviously loves you to bits. I love that you both have fun hanging out together, while also making a living, awesome! I hope Kindle gains that confidence, cause I tell you what, she drives that truck like a boss! To be fair, she's not asking a lot in the garage, she deserves a walking path, please give her one Brad lol. I hope to see more of these interview or Q&A style vids. And Kindle, I'm sorry about your grandpa, I lost my mom and dad when I was 19.
For the light issue inside the cab that your wife mentioned, what if ya shopped around and got a cheap red push light you could somehow attach to the inside roof? Sorta similar to the ones cops have inside their squad cars. Red mainly so it won't blind your wife while she's driving and it could be a nice light source!
You can also have the people on dirt roads bring the can to the end.... Most dirt road people have a UTV.... They make trailer hitch accessories to mount the cans too. I maintain a property that's driveway is so long they use a gator with a hitch mount to carry the cans, HOA won't allow them to store them near the end of the road and it's a bridge to get to the property
Great video, great family, thanks for the Q&A. It was nice to get to see the family and hear from your wife. Would love to see cleaning out the truck after dumping the trash.
Love your videos Brad. Glad to see you guys are okay. Up here in Tennessee we got hit pretty bad by Helene, so glad I can watch a video of yours to get away from it for a bit. All the best!
Brad, its understatement to say the good Lord has blessed you with the perfect wife for you and your kids. Glad we got to learn a bit more about you two! God bless!
The light situation, an idea for when your comfortable tweaking the wiring is to add a secondary button that turns on the worklights from the back, similar to the PTO button on the side of the tailgate. That way you don't have to worry about communicating to turn them on just push the button yourself.
Two questions: 1) how come you don't leave the lids open after collection? If you do it'll give the containers a chance to air out and if it's raining possibly get a bath. 2) are you planning to paint the truck Orange eventually?
Has your wife ever used the rear loader? It would probably be good for her to do a route once in a while so she knows what to do incase you’re unable to due to injury or illness.
Hey, just saying if you don't know, they way you can tell if the truck is filed is if the plate in the truck is all the way back or to the front were the cab is. If its like that, the truck is filled and you need to go to the dump.
My late father worked on a landfill for 40 years and over time u don't notice the smell and don't wash your truck at home as the smell will stay in the ground for a long time take it to a car or truck wash
Maybe you guys could get some hands free 2 way radios with a single ear piece and mic that connect when you start talking. This might help on communication when you’re in the back and your wife is in the truck
Glad your back. Does your wife realize that as soon as you sell 200 garbage cans you’re getting another 200? 😂 Also you got my name right the first time (Ka-tin). But sorry about the can of worms
Brad let your wife have a part time job because its hard to sit at home and do nothing it also helps the reationship because yeah your doing your work but she might feel shes not doing her share . if your a stay at home mom thats a job in its self but if you dont have kids it can become mondane and it gives her time to be out with the girlfriends .
Nice to see everything is good after the storm and everything is OK I also had a question where did u get the orange cans I really would like to get one thank you and keep up the great work
I kind of like this side of you guys quite interesting with the comment answer section especially having the female half involved seen both perspectives hopefully you guys do more together I think it would be good
Fun video! Bring Kyndal back for more videos. Much better voiceover than Brad. But Kyndal was way too diplomatic with her answers. Next time Brad needs to be out of the room when Kyndal answers. 😂
Ok dude, so hear me out. You have a large US audience. Among us, some would like to sport your trash can out front. Right now i have a walmart can. Could use a bright orange baker county trash pickup can. You think you could have one delivered for 200? 250? Super curious. Great back and forth with the wife! Thank you for helping us understand this insanity some, Ma'am.
Loved the video, it could be fun to switch places for 30 minutes or 1 hour or something, it would help you understand each other's job and needs with the lights and where to best park from the bins, and all that. Get more efficient. Would love a POV camera from the person in the driver seat, so we can see what buttons they need to push and all that.
I decided Janurary this year to start doing trash. Like i shared in another comment i have little over 200 weekly customers. I have several questions regarding how you guys bill not so much how much but if you guys charge monthly or weekly. I have sort of a unique start because i replaced a person who did it for many years and the person who did it before me owed people money. With this said some of my customers dont want to pay monthly and prefer to stay weekly. My question mainly is what do you use to track who has paid and who hasn't paid. With over 200 people its a lot to keep track of. Also question for Brad how much more does this truck hold than your dump trailer?
Support does not mean you say “yes” to everything. Support means asking the questions and pointing out realities…expenses, debt, practicalities, etc…then encouraging the other to proceed if all makes sense.
At least the upside of getting a cabover Isuzu even though I honestly hate those things is they're great for turning radius and visibility both good things for your wife it makes it a lot easier for her to drive it if you're used to a truck and a trailer than like a Freightliner or something with an engine in front of you shouldn't be an issue the only downside I've always had with isuzu's is they're bouncy Betty's after you break the new ones in they never ride smooth ever again
What will you do if you're sick and can't work? Will you delay pickup? Will your wife have to do everything or are you going to have a friend or family member fill in?
If customers on dirt roads really want your service. Couldn't they just take the bins to where the paved road ends/begins? and you could easily pick them up from there.
@@CopperCreekCuts makes sense. I am a propane delivery driver and I have welded some gear on a propane truck, my employer at first was hesitant, because of warranty, then I found a way to do things without avoiding warranty, my was to do that was to weld things on removable items like fenders and boxes.
Thanks for your patience over the past few weeks. I had a full business week followed by a Hurricane week that has me quite behind. I hope you enjoy this video!
It's ok. Glad you are safe! I love the trash videos.

I love how she helps out on the route. You guys should do a video where you swap places, with you driving and her loading the truck

Not a bad idea, I will look into it!
Very sweet. Definitely love this interview. And I look forward to all of the vids every week. Appreciate it man!

Absolutely loved this episode! A part 2 would be great! 😉😉
Keep up the good work!

Thank goodness you’re back. I was starting to go through withdrawals. :) Glad all is well for ya and the fam.
Glad your back Brad. Can’t tell you how many times i would check your channel daily to see if you posted haha anyways amazing video!
Brad, your wife seems like a great person. Happy you both have fun while working 👍

Thank you too!
Welcome back! I'm glad you've weathered the storm! Be safe!
Thank you!

that was great, thanks for answering my question

"Rumors of my death were Greatly exaggerated" - Brad (Probably)
Glad your back.
LOL
You are truly blessed!
Great video!

12:30 Get a handful of scents you like and rotate between them, your body will get used to a common odors. ✌️
We have plain and lavender currently :D

audio and video mix at 3:20 was hilarious
XD
13:19 Use the cab's cabin lights instead of searching for your phone's flashlight and illuminate the entire space. ✌️
The isuzu cab lights are a little dome light that doesn't do anything to illuminate the buttons she needs to see.
You might have already talked about this, but have you guys considered purchasing another property for your company(s)?
Sounding like a good team.
Greetings from Miami!
Not too far away in the grand scheme of things! Hello!
OMG!!! You guys are soooo stinkin cute together!! Blessings guys, Dirty Jersey out!!
Many thanks! :)
Amazing keep it up you 2

Technically costs need to go up - subtract the weekly cost of the truck in there :)
Do lime green for recycling and gray for yard waste
Having had the truck for a little bit. Can you do a video of any general maintenance you’ve had to do with it?

Great video
Nice video you should do a Timelapse video of the camera in the cab
Thanks for the idea!
Fire extinguisher installation video coming soon!!!???? Btw great video
14:10 frog on the right side saved himself
you should offer 64 gallon carts for the people who dont fill the carts all the way for a slight discount

I like her talkinggg
Where did you get you truck from?

Would you be interested in a nice 2008 isuzu FTR with a wayne compactor with only 52k miles?
good he made it!
Yeah!
What will you do if you're sick and can't work? Will you delay pickup? Will your wife have to do everything or are you going to have a friend or family member fill in?
if u lived in the eastern part of the us and had harsh winters would u still waunt to do garbage pick up
Will you be selling shirts on your channel?
If customers on dirt roads really want your service. Couldn't they just take the bins to where the paved road ends/begins? and you could easily pick them up from there.
5:37 thats the second week in a row youve nearly knocked that bin over
Won't be the last time either, that collection requires us to be on a steep ditch.
Sounds like the truck needs a wheel alignment
Man drill holes in the bottom of your trash cans so all the water can drain out of the garbage bin
You should get a dashcam up front to protect yourself in case of an issue. Someone could say, you scratched my car, or some BS.
Have you decided on the name for the truck?
Freaking ladders we forgot to lay down blew down and caused all our damages too
I think you might want to weld some handles on the back for yourself instead of holding on to the holes
There are handles. The holes actually help me stay closer to the truck.
@@CopperCreekCuts makes sense. have you considered a side loader?
Have you just not watched every other video?
@@kyledon-r7ilmao
I have :D
So, you got yourself a great partner.
Why was there a black trash can insted of a orange trash can?
You still doing lawn care?
Do you still cut grass on the side?
you guys need walkie talkies so you can talk to her in the cab
Its $65 a ton here
wish it was $35
Only $30 here and the county pays our tab.
And also do a recycle and green waste route man food waste is the law
👍
Why do you home school?
Why not get a recycling truck
The myth the legend is back! I wish i can help but im in elmhurst illinois :/
Glad yall are okay after the hurricane.
And prayers and condolences to the loss of your grandfather, Mrs. Kendall🙏🏼
