100% preventable. Prayers for the fallen
The Truck was commandeered by the guy riding on the Trailer. Highway patrol was stopping the truck because of the guy riding on the back. It was not the Truck Driver that drove the wrong way on the Highway and hit the officers,.
Say wha? Did I hear this right? So he takes off in the semi..... then makes a U-turn and drives down wrong side of hwy to hit the cops? If that's correct, didn't the cops follow the truck when it took off? It's not like a semi truck can do a U-turn on a dime right? 🤔
Yeah the whole story makes no sense. It would be nice if we could have at least one competent reporter who could ask the right questions and make some sense out of the story. Who, What, Where, When, Why & How? Do they even teach that in journalism anymore?
Here is the gist: two police officers pulled over a semi truck. Only 2 officers are on scene, so when the driver takes off and slams into both patrol cars, no one is able to pursue. Also most departments have a policy stating that the officers involved in a pursuit must stop if an officer is injured to render aid to the fallen officer.
@@williambarker5607 I don't believe that is a policy. I subscribe to police chase channels here on RUclips and watch at least one police chase video a day, and I have never seen cops stop a chase because a cop was injured. Generally something like that will cause them to intensify the chase, not call it off. If a cop is hurt other cops are not going to let the suspect get away. If a cop is hurt a chase, either the injured cop or another cop will radio for EMS to respond.
@@MaxZomboni they have to provide First AID to life threatening injuries
@@katieh3236 They don't have to do anything. Many courts have ruled that cops have no duty to do anything. The chase goes on no matter what unless it is called off for safety reasons. Which is highly unlikely after a cop is injured. At that point nothing is going to stop the chase. The justification would be that the suspect is driving to recklessly to allow him to continue.
So the suspect is a truck driver.
THE USUAL SUSPECTS!👻👻👻
🐷🐷🥓🥓
Madness, prayers for the officers' family and friends
Suspect: Michael Aaron Jayne.
These comments are hollow. A husband/father/brother was killed. That's extremely sad. Quit bringing outside lenses in on what should just be a sympathetic response for another human. That's it.
Saying that because of someone else or some other group's bad behavior you're not going to care or sympathize is part of the bigger problem. You're not helping your issue, only perpetuating the same heartlessness/cruelty you claim to denounce.
🤣 hasta la vista, road pirate🤣
Maybe the cop shouldn’t have resisted
The trucker was in fear of his life!
This happened in Utah not Chicago
Clearly. It didn't involve a firearm. 👽
❤🙏🏼❤️

half staff on land.
I saw the cop laying Down With yellow towl on him
The usual suspect.
😂😂😂😂😂🎉
🐷🥓
Okay, but why dont they pronounce it SAN-tah-QUIN.
But Chicago ❤
I'm dumbfounded that the fact that there was no footage for the vernal capture... but yet you show a picture of the truck crashed on this matter. i believe the Uintah Basin Officers need to be identified on this matter. your news is harshly trash... this is us from the Uintah Basin that caught this criminal... YOURE WELCOME.
😊
I’m not bothered by this. 💁♂️😂
Same !! Looks to be slippery icy conditions that caused this accident !!
@@SalimAbdallah-ek7jqfacts
@SalimAbdallah-ek7jq There was no accident nor was the road Icy. Did you not watch the story. The trucker purposely hit the police officer killing him instantly.
How gross of you
@@tonyag69 You're not understanding what he's saying !!! 🤔
Im bothered by the theatrics of police. Completely desensitized when they unreasonably end lives but fake-cry in front of cameras when one of their own is done the same way they do to our community members.
I've been reading the comments and it pleases me knowing people see through their bs.
The majority are silent, like usual.
Illinois would release him thru the democrats safety act.. They have already..
Just more proof we need coomon sense truck control... SAD!!!
…..You mean a Commercial Drivers License?
@@Tortilla.Reformouch you killed him 😂😂😂
Some people don’t think before commenting
Something doesnt sound right. If he committed no crime why was he being detained? That's probably why he fled
