For anyone wondering how to fit the glass back, if yours has the letter R printed in the corner, this comes from the manual:
"To correctly reposition the inner glass, make sure that the “R” is visible in the left-hand corner and the clear surface (not printed) is facing up. First insert the long side of the glass indicated by “R” into the support seats (a), then lower it into position (b)."
In summary, when you are facing your oven, the R should be bottom left near the hinge. As a double check, the smooth side where you can't feel the black border paint faces the inside of the oven..
Door Hinge Issue: Hey fellow oven cleaners. Just in case this happens to anyone else. During reassembly the door hinge sprung and it was a nightmare to reset it but this video helped a ton: ruclips.net/video/guupeAG9gmo/видео.html
I love the way he says, “Simply...lift the oven door...” ‘Simply’ -_- I’m sure it’s perfectly simple if you’re cleaning a clean oven like he is. I’ve only just come across this video so didn’t know I could ‘simply’ take the doors out, now they’re stuck up with cleaning agent that I can’t shift :(
Are there any any sides of the oven door glasses that can’t be cleaned? The reason for asking is that food has dropped down the holes in the top of the oven door requiring the inner glass surfaces to be cleaned.

The open space oven has a different, smaller hinge and the manual is useless (lift and turn the hinge latch - WTF!).
Just lift the tiny hinge cover and use brute force 'til something gives more like, hoping of course that nothing breaks and the casing is fully secured
Is it normal for hot steam to rise out of the back of my Hotpoint cooker when the fan oven is on? It then condenses on the wall behind the cooker. Do I need an engineer?

I need to know how to clean the ceiling of the oven without getting nasty cleaning spray on the above heating element. How can I cover the element ? Can I remove the element ?

FXQM6 No instructions how to clean the glass in the instructions. No way to get to the glass. Neither does this useless video.
I use the CIF cleaner (looks like white cream), works for the rest of the oven too. In terms of how to take the glass out, mine didn't have screws, but in the same location there were plastic rectangular buttons. When I pressed them on both sides, the plastic cover holding the glass in came off.

No point in being dishy, if you cannot follow his every move, imagine all the people that have got their oven in pieces and cannot get it back together.
