This still holds up today thanks to the performances of two very fine actors. Revenge really isn’t all that sweet after all
Didn't even recognize Sir Cedric Hardwick, with those glasses on. And David Niven playing, the bad guy🤨⁉️ That's a first, for me. Well written, with a worthwhile humor to it.
Divine... Niven..😅
Yes, he was quite an actor. His face says it ALL. a great actor, R.I.P.
Gotta love David Niven.
The quintessential gentleman and a top-notch actor! RIP
Sir David Niven. Actors and actress's today just aren't as good as the ones from the 1930s to 1970s
Two of the finest British actors of the 20th century can hold your total attention from start to finish simply by using their skills. A little gem thanks for uploading.
What an immeasurable actor Niven was!
Excellent, as usual. Great twist at the end!
What a twist of fate!!!!!
Adored David Niven since childhood!
Good "Alfred Hitchcock" Twist at the end.
Excellent. I did not see that ending coming!
Thank you Pizza flicks Television, for this good peice of dramma who dun it 🤔💐🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🥇
Sir Cedric Hardwicke was the father of Edward Hardwicke (1932-2011) best known for playing Dr. Watson in the long-running TV series, Sherlock Holmes (played by Jeremy Brett).
David Niven stars in another in this series from PizzaFlix - Man on the Train
Oh, I SO enjoyed the Jeremy Brett/Edward Hardwicke version of Sherlock Holmes! And I didn’t know Edward Hardwicke was Sir Cedric Hardwicke’s son. Thanks for the info. This was an excellent upload with the two top-notch veteran actors. Thank you
Never seen Niven playing a baddy before. Very good!
He played the Pink Panther aka Sir Charles Lytton that Inspector Clouseau was trying to catch in the 1963 film of the same name.
@@neiloflongbeck5705 True, but that part was more "loveable rogue" rather than evil baddy.
@@harri2626 a thief is still a thief. Doesn't matter if he's a Robin Hood or not.
One can always spend on Pizza fix for a great movie❤
A favourite actor of my nan's, the wonderful David Niven. I was too young to appreciate this filrn the first time around, just enjoying it now
Thank you, Pizza Flix! David Niven is the best!!🎉🎉
Superb performances by two great actors.
Excellent! Love Sir Ced and David.
Thanks Pizza 🍕. Great job as always.
Excellent! Thank you! 👍🏻❤️
Never seen this! Looks amazing!
Proper entertainment❤
Cedric Hardwicke and David Niven - it doesn’t get much better than this. Requiescant In Pace.
Thank you for all the movies ❤
🍕🍕Thank you 🍕Good story 🍕Always great to watch two great talents 🍕🍕❤👍
Refreshing to see a film with actors in it.
Thank you!😊
That was great!
Brilliant ‼️
Great TV film noir. 2 great actors. Shoutout to Ida Lupino for getting this done. She was one of the first female directors/producers in the male-dominated industries of film & TV.
Well, you know, trains are ever so crowded these days. WONDERFUL 😊... Wait, wasn't there a "Tales of the Unexpected " loosely based on this story ? about revenge?
🍕💯🍕 Top Notch Entertainment and acting! THANK YOU !!!
Great acting from all. Great story writing Really enjoyed this.
What a twist!! 😮 thanks for the upload 😊✌🏾
….and another amazing episode…. Thank you!
Bravo. David Niven always solid.
Thanks 👍 here's some food for the algorithm 🍉🍒🍓🎂😁
Absolutely well done
Oh my goodness brilliant story
Priceless! :)
David Niven and Sir Cedric Hardwicke in a clever little two hander
Love the look on his face! Thanks for uploading this
That was fantastic ,
Thank you for sharing
Looks like the same train that Beatles were riding in A Hard Day's Night.
A real Hitchcock ending. I won't spoil if for you but you will never guess. Never.
Wow. Twist after twist after twist.
This was awesome
Clever.
Short and sweet 😘
Very interesting and a good story x
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Odd, they changed engines without stopping or even slowing down. And I thought the age of miracles had passed!
I was a man with 2 emotions, hatred and the control of that hatred.
Thanks!
Wonderful!

Well, there was a nice plot twist! 😅
What a brilliant plot twist.
I wonder where the outdoor shots were filmed? The M7 tank engine still wears Southern livery, some eight years after nationalisation, and the various railwaymen's hats seem to predate it as well. As a film, very well done with, mostly only two great actors. I knew Niven would play a wrong un the moment I first saw him; shifty movements, sideburns, moustache, the pure, compleat and total Private Walker model spiv.........
I’m very disappointed. I think David Niven should have got the money. It’s a cruel twist
💖 ~ 😎😎😎 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
Luvvved that ending - never dreamed THAT!!! Thanks PizzaFLIX
👍✌🤙
💜 ✝️ 💜
🇺🇸 ⚖ 👊
If you wish for peace, prepare for war. 💖
Yep, I liked it.
Millionaire philanthropists always have a dodgy past.
It was Sir George who wielded the knife in the end.
The odd twist about the locomotives and the carriages filmed is that they were all running * wrong road * when entering a station. Or the mirror effect was again prevalent?
Dr. Watson's father!
I get a kick out of seeing those old Brit passenger cars where you open and close your own door. That would never work in the States, our people are too negligent, destructive, stupid and careless to close doors on trains.
Nice plot twist. But the document would be worthless, he could put *any* name on that paper, but the person in question would need to consent to it in some expressed way. Documents can't be "one sided" and still affect third parties.
Oh! The irony...
Depend not spend😮😅😂
Yikes!😮
I thought it was a movie😮. Not 25 minutes
It's part of a series called "Singer Four Star Playhouse".
And how about the 20 years he had spent in prison? Was it a pleasant "ordeal" ???
What a corker!
The trouble with Dvid Niven was that he had a kind, sophisticated, typically British Officer or Country Gentleman face - rather unbefitting most characters he played!
