Just so yall know, that new titan doesn't actually breath fire. Titans in general generate a lot of heat and the fire coming out his mouth was just a big exhale after running.

1. If you see the credits roll without to be continued, theres an after credit scene
2. Almost everything in this show has meaning. The writer is a master of foreshadowing which brings me to
3. No theory is too strange. The best part of this series is to have ideas that are crazy. Trust me, we've all thought whacky ass shit and anyone who loves this show will love your crackpot theories. Its part of the charm!
4. Most importantly, this show is amazing, and it's best enjoyed by just having fun with it. If you miss stuff, you miss it. Dont worry about it, even if it seems like comments are crazy once the rest of the AOT community discovers your channel. Just have fun watching because fun and genuine reactions and discussions are the most entertaining for us and for the two of you :]

Just finished the first episode and saw this was up, awesome!
My Attack on Titan 'pro tip' would be to make sure to watch the after credits scenes when they do them. This show barely does it, I think there might only be one the whole first season, but they matter when they do. Easy way to tell if there is one is if the episode 'ends' without a to be continued screen. Until that pops up there's more to watch. Enjoy the ride!

I’m gonna be honest, i don’t realistically see a way for Carla to survive even if they managed to get her out of the debris. Both of her legs are completely crushed, after armin lost his grandfather as sacrifice due to the food shortage she’d likely end up a single mother (doctor husband has been missing since he left that day) of 3 kids with severe disabilities without the technologies and equipments needed to make wheelchairs. And that’s if she didn’t end up forced to “reclaim wall Maria” like Armin’s grandfather. That’s just how i see it anyways. 💔

Well, when Carla got grabbed by the smiling titan, she moved her legs. But it makes even more sad that she was ensuring that eren and mikasa to run away as soon as possible before her own life.

fun fact, if you go to the time stamp 8:25 and look 3 pillars to the left of where Mikasa is standing then you can see Future Eren from Season Four stood in the background leaning against a pillar in his signature dark grey hoodie, light grey shirt and black trousers listening to Eren, Armin and Mikasa's conversation
edit: its quite hard to see because of the transparency of the video, but if you go on the original episode and go to the time stamp 17 minutes and 48 seconds then you can see it clear as day

Just some facts to clear up: in the beginning when we see that big armored titan ran through the wall, you mentioned they breathed fire when in fact, titans are extremely high in temperature so they give off steam, that fire was simply hot steam being released from his mouth 👍 Also Armin's grandfather was actually the one that was sent out with others to attempt to regain land, and because this technically is not a spoiler at all as it's never at all mentioned in the show: Armin's parents were killed by the government because they tried going outside the walls in a hot air balloon which was illegal. I hope this helps with story context as you progress through the show seeing as a lot of us watchers know a lot of facts canon to the show from the manga comic this was adapted from, they're not always incorporated into the animation 👍 but we got your back!

@@devonandrewmills nope, that was 2 years the first being after the first attack and they spent the year farming while others tried reclaiming land and then they waited another year until they turned 12 to enlist in the military and (SPOILERS FOR B&B) training is 3 years so by the time they graduate it would already be 5 years that have passed since episode 1 and eren and gang would be 15 years old

The first big Titan was more muscle, but the "fire breathing" Titan is covered with bones that why he was able to break through the wall. More Titans to come. 🔥🔥 Reaction.. on to the next.

you guys should revist this episode after completing season 3 and 4 up to you 3 is enough to understand whats going on and at 8:25 in this video time what ever that is from the source you watch and pay attention to the background you will notice some things you havent and you will realise something crazy

One thing I will share with you that is never shown or explained in the anime (so not a spoiler) is that Armin is being raised by his Grandfather because his parents were executed for breaking the law. They tried to build a hot air balloon and go beyond the walls, which is forbidden (unless you’re a member of the military). Also worth considering that even if Hannes had found his courage he probably would have been killed by that Titan. In episode 1, we see even the experienced Survey Core take terrible losses trying to fight them.

Well the guy that saved eren tho he was a coward in that moment I can’t really blame him he’s not trained to fight the titans and never seen one until then. He definitely don’t have the strength to fight one for that alone and him running was the smartest thing because he and the kids would be dead if he didn’t.
It was the most human decision made. We weren't expecting it. Once mom got eaten, we knew this show was different.
@@BeautyandtheBeard1 yup the mom wanted him to do that but he felt like he owed the family so he wanted to at least try…when he actually seen the Titan that’s when everything clicked and that’s why the mom thanked him.
