And if you didn't see it Franz and Hannah scene Franz body is only the upper half the rest of his body is gone/eaten and Mikasa didn't hear Armin it's just some kind of a feeling that made her look back

Eren's death is so tragic but it put a great impact on those around him.

They definitely censored that a bit too well, it completely changes the message of the scene if you think there's even a chance he's not dead.

AoT gets recommended a lot, a lot of people new to anime react to it and don't always connect with it because the core of the story is an emotional internal journey. This episode encapsulates that. And you guys have understood that from the first episode. That poor girl Mikasa is scarred from her trauma. As strong as she is, she's afraid.

3:49 tip for clarification, once a titan dies, their body disintegrates into thin air as hot steam. Same goes for when they are injured, as they regenerate, steam comes out their wounds until they are healed due to titan's extreme body temperatures. Even if their blood lands on you, you won't stay dirty since their blood will just eventually evaporate almost instantly.

Idk why it's so hard for you guys to empathize with Armin. Not everyone is as bad-ass as Mikasa and as crazy driven as Eren (RIP). As for Armin, it's one thing to live in this cruel world, even before the fall of Shinganshina and Wall Maria (when he lost his parents and was bullied thorough his childhood because he wanted to think for himself), and it's one thing to witness your whole town being invaded by Titans - it's another to actually be a solder standing face to face with a Titan after your whole squad was massacred by them in a instant, knowing you will probably end just like them, ripped to shreds and chomped down, dying gruesome, painful and horrible death.
It's sad when only physically & mentally strong people are valued, when in society we need all kinds of people. People like Armin, too. Maybe not strong, but smart thinkers not afraid of speaking their on mind (remember: he was bullied and beaten up but he stayed true to himself).
As for Hannah and Franz, the guy was ripped in half and Hannah was so much in shock that she tried to revived a corpse. No wonder Armin was further traumatized.
Thank you for sharing your point of view. Read that Franz's body was censored so appreciate you for clearing that up. We were definitely team Eren and couldn't stand him going out the way he did...hence the disappointment in Armin.

Especially in the world of AoT It makes for a better viewing experience, since this show is not black & white, straightforward story (can't say anymore at this point without spoiling).

It's alright to be disappointed in Armin having a lack of courage, it doesn't mean you don't understand. Obviously he himself would be the most disappointed and guilty about that fact, but it doesn't change our feelings for the ones who died. RIP Eren

About hans and his girlfriend, in the manga hans body was torn in half, so imagine armin seeing her try to revive a body like that, and when asked to stop she just doesnt even understand

1. The show censored some things unnecessarily this episode. Beard was correct. Franz was bitten in half. That’s why it was messing armin up to see franz girlfriend still trying to save a dead body.
You guys are really observant. Keep it up. This show is one big mystery. Look at things happening in the back ground. Question everything. Nothing just happens for no reason. Anyway, I look forward to watching your next reaction. Ps. Where are you guys from? I’m from Guyana and I hear an accent from you two but I can’t totally place it.

Pretty good show right? As anime first timers, has your opinion on the genre changed at all since starting this show? Most adults I know that haven't watched an anime before would consider them cartoons.
That's a great question 🤔 We only started this one because it was compared to GOT honestly. Think we need to see more to give you a proper response. What would you suggest?
@@BeautyandtheBeard1 Cowboy Bebop is a timeless classic that I recommend to friends who haven't seen much anime. 26 episodes in all. There are great ones like Naruto and Hunter x Hunter, but they're hundreds of episodes long. Also, avoid anything Studio Ghibli related unless you want copyright strikes. Good luck with your channel, I can see you getting to 100k no problem.
