Took my 4 stroke motorized bike on a 100 mile round trip along the Columbia River in Washington and Oregon state, was beautiful and fun! No issues and took it like a champ.
I've ridden one from Tampa to L.A. and back pulling a trailer with all the gear i needed . No break downs 1 flat in AZ.
That’s crazy!
Proof or it didn't happen
Really is there a away to prove it
Great video. Love that you and your Dad do things like this together. Your making memories with him that you will look back on with joy for the rest of your life. As well as he will also. Take it from a Dad who knows.
Btw. Just a little advice. Rewatch your video and count how many times you say, ' So yeah ' or ' and yeah.' It's a bad habit that you may not have noticed. But getting rid of it will help your narration and hopefully keep you mindful of other repetitive verbal crutches we use to fill in between sentences. It's nothing big. But it's noticable enough to those listening to you.
I like it, it's cool. It gives everyone a unique character signature. No need for conformity.
I used a 100cc to do Uber eats deliveries on a Giant frame. Engine lasted 1400 miles, and that was some days riding and using 2 tanks of gas in 8 hours
After 1400 miles what happened to the engine???
Lol
@@spyder6000 propably piston gone

@@dzianys502yea but still replace the piston and rings as long as the cylinder ain’t scored or chipped
This is pretty cool 🔥 the western music had me cracking up lol 🤠 but this was a nice watch, cool bike 🚲
That speedo needle is going haywire! Great video, I love what you've done with this bike
Thanks!
yeah the engine vibrates a lot
I wish there were roads like this where I live 😭
Same lol here uk laws are strict on like anything that isn't regulated lol even fucking escoters like I wish they gave more options for kids that can't afford tax mot insurance and the price of a moped
Yeah technically it’s not necessarily allowed on that trail, but also technically it is. It’s kind of a legal gray area where it’s probably smart to just not get caught by the police lol.

Thanks man!
You have some nice trails to ride. ( i wish that i had trails like this here where i live.)
The swap over looks excellent.
I have built over 22 Motorised Bikes since early 2014. Have kept six. One a 50cc 2stroke is on an old 1981 Humber. Two 4 strokes. The 40 cc OHV is a left hand side mount by the rear axle, the 50cc OHC is in an Aluminium frame with built in fuel tank. A 43cc weadeater ( weadwacker) above the rear wheel on a 20'' folding bike.
Also have 4 Recumbents. A home made LWB with under seat steering. A 20'' Rans. A Cruzbike FWD and a homebuilt converted Dahon 20'' folding bike to a 26'' FWD.
Greetings to you and your Dad from Durban, South Africa.
Riding a motorized bicycle is literally one of the best way of commuting to wherever you want to go. Extremely high quality motorized bike kits can cost as much as $700 USD but can be bought for way cheaper than that.
Please keep making videos like this I love them
Cool bike buddy as well cool ride .
Love your build. Just a quick question for you. Did you just keep your original coaster brakes? I don’t see a brake lever. If so do they work well enough safety wise?
Thanks! I did keep the coaster brakes. But they kinda suck. If possible I would advise to get rim brakes as well as the coasters, although that’s not what I have done.
@@OfficialPineappleLeaf thanks so much for the quick reply.
Super awesome ride, I really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.
Yeah thank you!
Hey I love what you done with the bike I'm kind of new to the motorized bike club and I know the trouble you can run into while trying to install the engine I already went through two bikes.on 1 of the bikes the motor didnt fit and on the 2nd i installed everything to then realize that i couldnt fit the carburetor. So yeah, anyway you seem like a good kid,so i subscribed to support your channel . Also your dad is great you're so lucky to have a supportive father.
Haha thanks!!
Cherish this time with your father for the flame of life is extinguished before anyone is ready and far too soon in most cases
Class video . Summer gone by done a 136 mile trip great experience
I ride bikes with my son as well it’s a great bonding for sure am currently waiting for three motors to convert our fat bikes third is a spare for parts lol just in case are those stock do you have an upgraded sprocket ⚙️ awesome video.
That’s awesome bro glad to see another father and son team that wy I started my channel was doing the bike builds with my son do you have a channel to bro

Your bike proved dependable and you have a great place to ride . Really enjoyed it . I have a kent w the zeda firestorm80 w 720 miles no problems just routine maint an greasing . My average rides are about 30 miles too , and i put a big fin head to hopefully help dissapate some of the heat . I got it in oct and so far it handles the 30-40mile non stop hikes in this cooler weather but im concerned if can handle it in the summer we have heavy humid 100 degree summers
I just got the Zeda 80 firestorm for my schwinn OC chopper, I put four piece bmx bars on it and it feels like a tiny motorcycle. What do you grease?
I live in North Georgia and there are a lot of really difficult hills. I had to modify my bike to deal with the steep hills. I use a 56T sprocket and I use a header instead of a muffler. I also removed the filter from the carb. The bike performs incredibly well. Of course that's hard on the engine, so I have to replace the motor every so many miles. Love my gas bike!!
Haha that sounds awesome!
@@OfficialPineappleLeaf Thank you!

If this a 50cc? If so, im curious how you go about legal stuff. In my state, they technically have to be registered, but I can't register mine because there's no VIN to speak of and really no other way to do it! Do you just take the risk and ride, or have you found a way to register yours?
@@owl418 it’s 49 cc I think actually
@@owl418 they do that so it can be a legal gray area. It’s still considered a bicycle in most places

Thanks!!
Hell yea kid I like the build
have you made any videos at night? I'd like to see what your headlight will do
It goes night time in this video near the end
Is it any more difficult to pedal with an engine on the bike?
Yeah it is. There is in general just more resistance, because you have to pedal the motorcycle chain, and then the weight of the engine adds difficulty also.
I have a Schwinn E bike and I noticed two things over time. #1 the chain will stretch quite a bit and nuts and bolts will loosen so check everything before you ride.
That’s good to know!
I built an electric Mongoose BMX bike. Def learned that it rides much nicer if I install back wheel in the perfect spot and add chain to front after. Once I like the tightness you can mark on the frame where the wheel should sit. Take off nuts and add a semi permanent threadlocker and dont be shy with an actual socket. Does much better than bicycle wrenchs.
Awesome. I live in Vegas as well and am building another bike with my son and would love to ride that trial. Where is it?
The river mountain loop
Ever have anyone give you a hard time for having the motorized bike? I've been trying to find good areas to cruise
@@jacobcurtis628 Nope not really. I recall maybe one or two times on that bike trail that walking people have given me looks, but never anything vocal. That being said, I kinda hardly ride on the trail, mostly just on the road to and from my friends houses and such.
@@OfficialPineappleLeaf man you living life❤️
Great video & soundtrack.
Thanks!
there are some chain tensioners that are big "C" shaped brackets where the tensioner slides inside them, might be something to look at putting on your dad's bike, or trying to fabricate one for yourself. It's the straight up and down cut in the tensioner that will always work itself towards the bottom no matter how hard you tighten it. I had one of my old bikes do that.
That’s a good idea
@@OfficialPineappleLeaf thanks.
That's clean !!!! Nice job man .
I've built 6 bikes . Try to make them purdy. Your bike looks great !!!

This is the best test drive, come on again!
What is the maximum speed of your bike?
I’ve gotten to like 40-45 on this frame
I would smoke an entire Dutchie before and during that ride. Blissful views
Awesome video man 🤙
I think you should say “yeah” more😂😂😂
Yeah
Thank you for the ride! I do have one recommendation for a brighter headlight, just for your safety!
Yeah I still need to do that. This thing sucks
I recently bought one of these bike kits and a cheaper Walmart bike. Put it all together and road it for a bit before having problems with the carb and and spark plug. Anyways I got it all cleaned up put a helicoil kit in the cylinder head and then road it around 24 miles throughout the rest of the day. Ended up I blew up the piston. I wasn’t sure why this was though. I just want a working one of these for longer trips that does around 35-45 miles per hour. I know I have to warm the engine up and run some gas through it to get it where it needs to be but I’m just so lost as to why I keep having problems. First the threads stripped for the spark plug then the carb clogged up now this. All within 3-4 days of ownership. Anyways could anyone recommend me a good kit? I need something that will again do longer distances and go around 35 if not higher speeds on average. I would also not be opposed to putting this kit on my trek marlin 4. I know how to do it and am fairly mechanically inclined I just don’t want to keep fixing this junky motor it would be cheaper to buy a new one of good quality. Also what spark plugs should I be using because as I’m going for longer distances I don’t want to run too hot and burn the engine up anyways. Also don’t want to spend too much on the engine maybe $300
Please someone help.
The company I got Seeutek no longer exists, so I don’t know necessarily what is good or not, but from what I’ve experienced with my friends and whatnot, you honestly get what you pay for. So the more expensive kits are generally better.
I highly recommend Gorilla Gas Bike. The motors are high quality and the kits are reasonably priced. I paid $134 for my kit. Also, they have great customer service. They are easy to get in touch with and an actual person picks up the phone to talk to you. So definitely go with Gorilla Gas Bike.
thats a nice place to ride u got their, ggz

I traveled 86 miles in 1 day. Was very good

Most common problem people don’t get is that your bike will shut off out of nowhere and before it shuts off it’ll run like trash and misfire if the metal spark plug crown vibrated loose just twist it back on tightly and it’ll fire right up
