Love your vids man you do it all. Is it required to remove the tires when I bleed? I’m thinking of just getting a power bleeder and doing it in my garage. Also do I need the bottle you put on top of the master cylinder or can I just keep checking the levels?
Hi there. Thank you for your video. It encourages me to do this myself instead of paying a garage to do it. I have a couple of questions, though: Firstly, how often do you have to check the master cylinder? I suppose a couple of times per corner. Just as long as the master cylinder reservoir stays relatively full, right? Secondly, I didn’t see your fluid change colour as it was bleeding. It looked like you were removing a gold-coloured fluid and replacing it with a clear one. So I’m thinking that we bleed until we see the new fluid come through. Is that right? These things didn’t seem very clear in your video… Thank you!
Hi there! Just so you know, if a car has ABS and we know that the W220 does🙂, then the brake system is bled from the closest to the farthest caliper! If there is no ABS, then the system is bled as you are showing! Just for future reference 😉
