You guys do some awesome work!! Loving all the videos lately. They’re rlly fascinating for a lighting nerd like me. appreciate how you do a thorough walk thru as well as showcase the car rather then a person in front of the car.
@@GuardianFleetSafety I don’t know if you guys will see this but I just saw this vehicle recently and when all lights are white the one at the bottom of the windshield on the driver side is red is that on purpose?
Haven't seen but maybe one in person, and I look really sharp. Our local Sheriffs Dept is trading in 4 Tahoes towards the purchase of a new Durango PPV, can't wait to see it
I think all police vehicles have colum shift, Charger, Ford F150, Taurus. Space between the seats is for the computer and all the controls for sirens and emergency lights, I believe...and cup holders 😉
Nope this vehicle would be classified as a “specially marked vehicle” under Minnesota state law 169.98 subdivision 2A which states “Specially marked police or sheriff vehicle. The chief of police of a home rule or statutory city, and the sheriff of a county, may authorize within the jurisdiction the use of specially marked police or sheriff's vehicles for primary use in the enforcement of highway traffic laws and ordinances when in the judgment of the chief of police or sheriff the use of specially marked vehicles will contribute to the safety of the traveling public. A specially marked vehicle is a vehicle that is marked only with the shield of the city or county and the name of the proper authority on the right front door of the vehicle. “
No, and good thing too. Federal Signal lead times are insane right now. If we had to wait 8 months for lightbars, we'd be in a world of hurt. SoundOff is still getting us lightbars in 3 weeks.

Thank you, it's also easier to do that then trying to find a handy camera man!

Loving all the extra videos! Great work!!!!
Thank you
Any idea if the brake lights and reverse lights can flash instead of the ring?
Thanks

Just realized that Durango finally brought back the column shifter! Hopefully that made your guy's job easier, great build!
Yes, thank god it did!

@@Dinosaur1959correct me if I’m wrong but they used to use the knob shifter which if you don’t know is a major pain
🤦🏽♂️I got pulled over by one yesterday. I told the deputy Nice SUV and he actually gave me a tour of it. Lol 😂
I live in the area and I saw it driving around the county. Looks sharp! 🤙🏻
Why is there badging only on the passenger side?
Minimum legal standard for decals in MN for traffic units.
My favorite vehicle mod on lspdfr

Eric is correct, lots of agencies do this here in MN.
Are you a dealer or installer of federal signal emergency lights?

As long as you have the fob on you, you can open the rear hatch without pushing the button on the fob.
As of right now we have not seen that possible. Kinda wish they would make that an option.
@@GuardianFleetSafety oh weird, that’s how our 21 Durango works. The rear hatch works off the proximity key just like the front doors on ours.
very clean vehicle
Thanks!
