Yeahk and not just that. You run and jump in other sports like football, but in basketball you're slapping your feet on hardwood over and over. There's no give. After years that's a lot of repetitive stress on the old foot bones.

Whether it be a meniscus tear, broken finger, foot fracture even though these are lighter injuries they have become common with him. I am no doc but it seems like he needs a nutritionist to lose weight, someone to teach him the kinetics of his body and that he may just be naturally injury prone. I still don't think Zion understands how much stress is on his body, and his body isn't exactly built for stress, it's built for power. He needs to look at what happened to guys like blake and larry johnson, who thankfully were able to save their careers by developing other skills when their athleticism waned from numerous injuries.

  • @amahana6188

He has unnatural strength and explosiveness. So much so that if he’s at max effort, something has (and usually does) to give. Something that will plague him as long as has that freakish strength and speed.

As soon as I saw Zion I said Shawn Kemp 2.0. Not only because of his playing style, but because I can't picture him having a long career with his physique. I know Kemp had a short career because of drug use, but this guy needs to lose weight asap if he wants to have a long career. He's built more like an NFL player than an NBA player.

    • @pullt

@@pullt that's why I wrote that Shawn Kemp had a shortened career for different reasons (drug use). I know that he pretty much had the ideal physique for a guy his size earlier in his career. I think they traded him to the Cavs because they saw the writing on the wall and then his career went downhill after that. At this rate, I could see them doing the same thing with Zion if he's injured for half of his career and can't seem to get himself into NBA shape as opposed to NFL shape. He looks like an NFL TE in this video. He has to get himself to 150 lbs asap if he's planning on having a long NBA career.

That boy Zion look Like he sat on the couch all off season recovering. Holy shit that dude is to damn big. He needs to shed some weight and I'm talking healthy weight loss. He has so much money now no excuse for not being super dedicated and having a workout plan and personal chef make every meal and snack you eat. Even with a broken foot there Is stuff trainers can come up with to get you a workout. He is so explosive so he will be a great player but he is never goin to reach that top tier like Luka or harden or kd or Bron or Steph I'd this dude don't get his body right. He is young so he is still dominating but he is goin to age and he will not be near as productive and its going to hit him like a monster truck.
