Thank you! This helped immensely while removing the valve covers on my 2001 navigator. If anyone's going through the same thing - remove the passenger side fender liner for access. You don't have to disconnect the AC lines through the firewall to remove the valve cover, but you do need to disconnect the coolant hoses to the heater core and move the ignition wiring harnesses out of the way.
